"Great if your getting into a game that has a lot of dlc (rock band and guitar hero). Built well, ive had mine for over a year and no RROD to speak off."

"I have played this once at my friends house totally great . I plan on saving up for X-mas and getting one I wanna get my cuz one if I can get some more money h doesn't get things like i do but he played so now I have to save up and get me and him one he loves it and so do I we rate it a 10++ The Xbox 360 Elite is the latest version of the Xbox. The system and controller are black which looks awesome, it has a 120gb hard drive so you can download tones of extra content and play more games. It comes with the falcon chip which reduces heat and chances of red ringing of death by 22% making the chances of getting a red ring of death 7% which is amazing low for Microsoft, in my opinion. Its basically the same as the pro, except a few extra nice features that I already listed. It has the same great graphics, perfect design, functionality and performance as the pro does. You can play the same great games and don't have to download the xbox original gamecompatibility "driver" because it already comes with the latest installed which means you play most of your classic xbox games without having to download a thing. If you already have a 360 go buy another this one. If you don't have a 360, GET THIS ASAP. Just like I am gonna do"

"A Great console for the Average person, easy to use/ set up. No problems with it but always a good idea to get the warrenty just in case you accidently do the damage to the machine (Normal wear and tear). Great for all age groups from adult to child."

"120gb hardrive, HDMI cable, two games and xbox has a bigger game selection than the PS3. if ur not gonna watch blu-ray movies. then the xbox360elite is a better deal. just buy the intercooler for it for 25.99 and ur set."

What's great about it: Loads game pretty quick, Great graphics, many game choices
What's not so great: WILL SCRATCH ANY CD/DVD IF MOVED WHILE IN OPERATION

"This is a great console so far, I have had it only like 4 days. I have played on it from the time i get home from work to time i go to bed. I noticed over the regular xbox 360 i used to have it does load my games faster than my old one used to. The graphics are awesome and its a nice system overall. The only thing I did not like and this was my fault for not using my head. I tilted the system from horizontal to vertical postion while it was on and a game was running. BIG NO NO, it ran a scratch a full 360 degrees around the disc. Now i have to go buy a new game, luckily i bought it at gamestop for 20 dollars. Other than that mistake that I made. The system runs strong, very responsive. Love the wireless controllers. The Elite does stand apart from the other systems, mostly by looks, and the bang for you buck features. Great console. If you have the extra money to spend for it, I would say go for it."

"Sure, it's a great system. I reccomend that you get an Xbox 360 arcade and then buy the 120 gigabyte harddrive. The arcade costs $200 and the harddrive costs $150 dollars. Don't waste the $50 dollars, like I did."

"I have had an orginal 360 for 3.5 years and the video card went out in it....so I just purchsed the ELITE since the price dropped.

The HDMI and DIGITAL sound are perfect. I can tell a major difference from component cables and the HDMI."

"I was a Playstation fan my whole life, so I went in to the Xbox360 very reluctantly. I was blown away. I went with the elite to get the extra hard drive space and the HDMI cable which alone is almost worth the upcharge alone. I also like it black the white ones just look funny to me. The games are top notch, I have 75% of my music CD's burnt on to it, and I frequently download TV shows which are available sometimes hours after airing for about 2.50$ an episode. I look forward to the dashboard relaunch this fall it should make the whole experience that much fuller. I had heard bad things, but have owned mine for over a year now with no problems. It travels with me when ever it can for DVD's, Music, gaming, or just messaging friends."

"The XBox 360 Elite is an excellent value. It comes complete with a wireless controller, a 120 GB hard drive, two video games, and several types of connector cables.

The graphic quality on this product is excellent. I have a 61" widescreen HDTV. I hooked up the console using the HDMI cables that came with it. It is fully compatible with High Definition and it looks great.

Once I plugged the game console into the TV, I just had to turn it on and make a few onscreen selections, for how I wanted the video output. It was extremely easy to set it up, because once I answered a few questions, it automatically did everything else for me.

I have not had any of the problems that I have heard some people talk about. My games have never frozen, and I have never seen the red ring of death. I have sometimes played it for more than 8 hours straight.

It is definitely worth buying."

"From a gamers point of view I have owned several different gaming consoles. To me this one is the best bang for the buck. You have a wide gaming selection along with some state of the art graphics. Multiple playing without the tangling of chords thanks to x box 360's wireless remotes. To me gaming has never been more easier. A gamer also likes to know what he has achieved, so the achievement feature in your profile is a wonderful addition. I have several children and they love the x box 360. The kids choose it over other consoles as well. I have owned an Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Super Nintendo, Play Station, Play Station 2, Xbox, and an X box 360, I choose the 360. I have gamed with friends several times on the Play Station 3, to me its too slow, and not enough gaming selection."

What's not so great: Production issues may result in brick console, no Blu-ray

"Best gaming platform for hardcore gamers*
*If you get one that does not Red Ring of Death on you.
That issue is somewhat mitigated by Microsoft's free extended warranty but dealing with them is a pain.
But assuming that you get a good unit, then it is the best gaming machine for a hardcore gamer. The most and best games on any system. Elite version comes with huge HDD and HDMI cables which is a huge plus."

What's great about it: Good graphics, does not overheat, cheap price, online access
What's not so great: No blue ray, game cost expensive

"Xbox 360 is by far the best console for gaming. It has a unique online access feature which they call Xbox Live. Such games like Halo 3 can be played online. The cool thing about this is that replays can also be accessed, managed, edited, and posted as a media to a computer. This overall gives a qualifying system to Xbox 360."

"I have been through 3 xbox's, the Elite is my 4th. Before I just kept getting the pros but they always ended up haveing internal problems. I am to much of an xbox fan to try and switch so I just kept toughin it out. Finally I decided to upgrade to the Elite. Believe me it was worth it! So much more memory, quieter, and its black witch usually goes with just about anything! If you have an older model you have to upgrade to the Elite."
