What's great about it: everything on this game is great
i play the first game lord of the ring now this game is the best and i like it

What's great about it: Epic LotR feel,great hero units,very cheap,just plain fun,play as evil or good,castle building,great graphics
What's not so great: a little hard at first,graphics aren't great by today's standards(but still pretty good),siege weapons overpowered
I bought this game awhile back,one of the best games i ever played.The ability to build your own castle,build the walls wherever you want,set up its defences like arrow towers and catapults is really fun and engaging.There are many maps spread out all over middle-earth to battle in,some are familiar,like Minas Tirith,Helm's Deep,Lorien,The Shire,Mordor and many others,and some you've probably never heard of or seen,like Harad,Arnor,Rhun,The Ettenmoors,Dul Goldur and lots more.All of the maps have a good Tolkien feel to them,nothing feels out of place.There are so many small details,like incredible sound effects,small woodland creatures roaming in the forests,seeing the elven homes in lorien the green dragon Inn in the shire,Mount Doom looming in the background in the mount doom map respectively that add to the great feel of the game and make it stand out from any other of its kind.Between seeing Orc hordes ravaging elven settlements,Nazgul's Riding out to search for the One Ring,and watching Dwarven catapults Break down the walls of Minas Morgul,You will realize that this is possibly the BEST real-time strategy game of all time,not because of great graphics,or incredibly intelligent AI,but for the simple fact that its really fun and addicting,Which i feel alot of new games are lacking of these days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: needs a good computer
THIS IS A ONE OF THE BEST GAMES I EVER PLAYED
but if u have a slow computer i suggest u just get battle for middle earth 1 cause it will run better then the others

What's great about it: good graphics, epic LOtR action
What's not so great: so-so strategy element
This is a great game if you like LoTR or are looking for a less demanding strategy game, however overall the games, especially the first one, lack any real depth as far as stategy is concerned. The lack of multiple resources, diverse upgrades, and direct economic control limit them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is an amazing game.but sometimes it doesnt work when i met the requirements and have more than it and it wont work just the first one.

What's great about it: 2 great games, and expansion for price of 1
What's not so great: need a good computer
If you love strategy games like Warcraft III, and Age of Empires, and you also love the Lord of the Rings these games are for you. The first one unfortunately doesnt have online, but the campaign is awesome reliving the battles of helms deep and minas tirith. The 2nd game has a healthy online community. These are just awesome games.
I would recommend this to a friend!
