Most Convenient NFL Video Game 02/19/2008

"This game is very well put together. The best part of this game is how real it seems because you can create players and put them on your custom teams or you could trade players from your favorite teams to your team and the best part about creating your own team is that you could use them in your season mode which is to me very convenient because I could never make up my mind on which team to pick in my season mode, that is why I think this custom team creation is so convenient. I think is the best NFL game I have ever played and owned. This Game Is Available For Most Systems!"

"EA games has continued this title and done an excellent job at outdoing themselves. The graphics and gameplay are outstanding and the team controls make you feel like you are really in there getting it done. This is by far my favorite game I have ever purchased and it never gets old. Must have for any sports fan."

"I bought this game for my 9-year-old son who is a huge football fan. I was hesitant to buy it becuase he has several other football games and I did not want to spend money on yet another one that is just like the rest; However, he absolutely loves this game! He would sit for hours and play it if I would let him. This game has great graphics and will keep your young football fan's attention for hours on end."

Stick with '07 08/17/2007

"This game was rather disappointing, basically they took Madden 07, added a few gimicks like double cuts, changed the "roles" system from 07 into "weapons" and added even more in your face advertising, like everytime a team gets into the red zone a pop up that takes up a good chunk of the screen happens with not only a company logo, but an image from their commercials, and the company slogan on it. Heck, the coin flip even has another brand logo all over it.
The only good new idea I found is to be able to control whether you tackle high or low when on defense using the "hit stick".
The only other real new idea I found I believe ruined many plays, and that is automatic motion on some plays, you click to snap and it then sends a person in motion and snaps the ball all automatically with no pause inbetween, so the whole point of motion to see what the defense is doing and then possibly change up a play is gone.
If you don't need the newest names of rookies and roster changes - stick with '07 or a different football game."
