SynopsisThe great wizard Sar-Elam banished the demons from the realm of Ashan. However, there is one way they can escape their prison of eternal fire: the skull of Sar-Elam himself, known as the Skull of Shadows. A prophecy foretells of the Dark Messiah, a half-human, half-demon child destined to wield to Skull of Shadows and unleash the demons. You must assume the role of Sareth, an apprentice trained from birth to prepare for this epic struggle. Using deadly skills in magic and war, it's up to you to prevent the Dark Messiah from carrying out this fateful prophecy. Can you retrieve the long-lost skull before it falls into the wrong hands? Travel to the deepest recesses of Ashan, where you'll encounter orcs, the undead, an elusive cyclops and other creatures that are more dangerous and cunning than ever. Know when it's time to fight and when it's better to wait in the shadows. At the right moment, launch all-out attacks by tapping into your powers of magic and wielding highly effective swords, bows, staffs and daggers. You can also trick enemies by making them fall into bottomless pits and walk into traps. As you progress, you'll uncover secret levels with new gameplay options and rewards. Even the multiplayer experience has been revamped, allowing you to form 10-player groups in Crusade mode. There you will choose to side with the humans or the undead, and play as an archer, priestess, mage or knight. Players must unite or they will fail, allowing the evil threat to return to Ashan once more.
