What's great about it: great sound distribution and easy to mount What's not so great: sub sold separately
"This sounds great at high volumes, and it packs a great punch with the mirage sub. If you get a bigger sub it may out power the speakers. The speakers come with mounts, and you can have the speakers fire up or down. The sound distribution is great it doesn't high vocals like Bose speakers. These speakers are great with music. I power them with a Denon 2808ci."

What's great about it: Great sound quality in a small package What's not so great: Subwoofer sold separately
"I spent a great deal of time wondering how I was going to crack the "Bose" craving I had but didn't like dropping over 4K for the 48 series for a receiver that wouldn't allow me a great deal of expansion or versatility. The Best Buy Magnolia Rep steered me toward the Nanosat series and I haven't turned back! These speakers are a steal for the price. Easy to mount and the sound quality is AWESOME! I was leary at first with it not being a "Name brand" like Klipsch or Bose, but these speakers sound just as good in my media room as they did in the store!
Only downside I did have with this set IS that the sub was not part of the spkr package. However, the spkrs and sub together with the Denon 3808CI I purchased gave me the flexibility I needed for adding components/gaming systems at less than the Bose price. Something Bose's receiver wouldn't allow me to do.
Overall, these speakers pack a great punch and the sound quality is great as far as the seperation of signals goes. If the sound is coming from the left, you are going to hear it from the left. XBox 360 is insane now with these speakers as well. I can hear bad guys footsteps coming from a mile away now!"

"I absolutely fell in love with these speakers the first time I heard them and the honeymoon is still going. These things really pack a big sound in a small package, and they look fantastic as well. The only thing The center speaker seems perfectly matched with the satellites, conversation is clear and direct, but at the same time it doesn't overwhelm the smaller speakers.
The ambiance created by this setup as part of a home theater system is astounding. Obviously its way cool when watching an action or war movie to hear the sounds of the battle raging all around you, but what really gives me chills is the things you pick up during a quiet scene. A dog barking in the distance that sounds like its coming from outside your house. A twig snapping to the left. subtle breathing from behind. That's what really makes this setup shine, it performs equally well putting you in the center of a raging battle as it does having you hiding in the jungle listening for the sound of footsteps.
The only thing I'd recommend is to purchase a good powered sub-woofer to go along with the nanosats. These speakers actually do a pretty good job on their own, but any speakers this size will have some limitations in the low range, and when you pair these speakers with a good sub-woofer, a big screen plasma TV, and a blu-ray or HD-DVD player you may never go to the movie theater again!"

great sound

What's great about it: excellent sound; great cute looks. fills my large family room,. What's not so great: somewhat pricey. had to buy woofer separately coz couldn't afford
"it is a great sound system. goes well with my Flat panel LCD SONY tv. bought a whole package incl, denon receiver, tv, and sound system along with psp3. all the minute details can be heard and felt through the speakers. only drawback the system doesn't include sub-woofer. should be purchased separately for another 400 bucks. so I purchased a mirage sub-woofer at a different online vendor for 250 bucks. the woofer is very good too. i am really glad i bought this system. would definetly recommend the nano mirage system."

Great Sound!

"These speakers fill the room with a warm smooth sound. In use in a study with a PC which has an external amp - I tunes music sounds great, center speaker clear and clean sound. Best Buy I have made in many years. Have been watching TV and Movies on the PC and using the I-tunes for music. Rear Speaker mounted in the corners of the room easily. My wife likes the small speakers as they blend into the room and take up no floor space. Overall these speaker sound better than my Bose units in the main Den with the large screen TV."
