What's great about it: Powerful, Great "Bang for the Buck"
What's not so great: Heavy
The Yamaha S115v speakers are a great purchase for anybody looking for a decent entry level sound system. The wide dispersion horn provides great coverage in most rooms and the 15" driver delivers considerably better lows compared to similar setups from other manufacturers. I have my set paired up with a QSC RMX2450 which appears to be a perfect match to Yamaha's program rating for these speakers. After quite a bit of use the carpet is still looking great on the cabs, so I'm very happy with my investment. I must warn you however that these are very heavy and bulky speakers, so anybody looking for an easily transported setup should consider other alternatives. Yamaha made a smart move by including both neutrik and 1/4 inch parallel inputs making connections easy regardless of the type of speaker wire used. I intend on purchasing a pair of these speakers in the floor monitor model very soon as well.

What's great about it: Very powerful and great price
What's not so great: flawless for the price
If your looking for a pro series speaker to buy with a small budget. The Yamaha club series is perfect. Do not waste your time looking at the BR series spend the extra bucks for this baby. I have these speakers and I simply love them. If you compare these speakers with any speaker with the same power rating it would cost you double the price of this speaker. It has a big tweeter that delivers excellent highs and the 15 inch woofer sounds great as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
