We got this washer (and the matching dryer) last May. We love them! We figured we couldn't go wrong with a Maytag, and now we know it's true! We haven't had a single problem with it since we got it. it's easy to use and looks great. The only reason i gave the Features 4 stars is because it doesn't have all the extra options that some other ones have (which i don't really care too much about anyway.) this is an excellent washer, and great brand, and for a great price! it was a fantastic deal!
What's great about it: quality brand, great price, no problems!
What's not so great: doesn't have all the extras
I would recommend this to a friend!

When my old washer moved out with my son (he had purchased it) I decided to go with a used washer. After two bad experiences on used washers, I knew I would have to buy new, but never guessed I would be able to afford a quality name brand like Maytag. Most of the low priced machines didn't have bleach dispenser or automatic fabric softener dispensers and had brand names I'd never heard of. This one has everything I needed, and was very inexpensive, AND was a MAYTAG! Three water temperatures, several cycles, automatic dispensers, solidly built, quiet. Even better, they stocked it at my local store and literally 30 minutes after I bought online, they were loading it in my pickup. It was packed very well, included all the needed hoses, and was easy to connect. I can't think of any other feature I would wish in a washer, no matter what the price, except an automatic 2nd rinse. To get the 2nd rinse, you have to manually turn the dial a tad. I don't use that more than about once a month, so this procedure is totally satisfactory. All this, plus Reward Zone points! Best Buy, you are my new appliance store!!!
What's great about it: Several cycles, plus bleach dispenser
What's not so great: No automatic 2nd rinse cycle

I bought this machine to replace a Kelvinator that I had for 15 years, it was still working. just old. When the delivery guys brought out the new Maytag they took i twith them. BIG MISTAKE! now I have no washer since the very FIRST LOAD in the new machine the agitator did not release the fabric softener into the clothing nor did the agitator spin out the water.Now I have to go the store and hope that Best Buy can replace it with something else. I am disillusioned with a product that does not work right from the store. Hopefully the guys in my local store will rectify this situation after all Maytag is the one who sold this faulty machine to them first..In any case I need a washer. QUICK!
What's great about it: it was a Maytag
What's not so great: did not work when I used it the FIRST LOAD
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great washer for the price. The only audible noise is during the agitation cycle. It does not have a second rinse cycle, but other than that it is a very good washer.
What's great about it: Great price.
What's not so great: Lacks some features of other washers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this washer and dryer set and I like it. The washer is super noisy though and makes a loud bang right before it goes into spin. It's kinda weird and scares me everytime I hear it. But otherwise I'm pretty happy with my purchase. My clothes do come out very clean. I like the different setting it has too.
What's great about it: Gets Clothes Clean
What's not so great: Extremly Noisy

I got the matching set about two weeks ago and i love it! I could have
asked for anything better. Gets my clothes clean with ease. It has all
the cycles that i want and not the ones that i don't need. The only
thing i have to say is watch out if its not level its loud but thats an
easy fix. Once its level you can barely hear it. I would buy it again
again.

I just purchased my washer and use it today and I can see the difference in my clothing. I love the fabric an bleach dispencer. I had my kitchen renovated last year and all of my applicances are Maytag, so I am happy to have purchase my first Maytag washer.
What's great about it: I love the hand wash cycle and the extra rinse cycles
What's not so great: It's noisy

We bought this Washer (& matching Dryer) in June 2007 and have used it everyday since (sometimes all day on the weekends). I absolutely love this set and all that it offers, especially for the price. I was looking for an affordable washer & dryer that could handle a large load and I found it. This set is exactly what I was looking for. The washer has so many cycle choices and my clothes always come out perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone! Especially if they were looking for a dependable product for a GREAT price.
