What's great about it: customizable,bluetooth,MP3 player, FM transittor
What's not so great: slow start up time.
I have been using this GPS for about 5 months, and I am quite happy with its navigational performance. 670 model also includes maps for Europe, however it does not have MSN direct subscription like 680 model. I however, do not feel the need to use weather forecast etc since I can get that from other sources. Over all this is a solid GPS, with FM transmitter, MP3 player, photo viewer and more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: FM transmitter works great
What's not so great: Onlyone point can be added to current route
Bluetooth works well, but mic isn't in covenant place & other party has hard time hearing me. However they do sell a remote microphone.
Traffic receiver works great for updates with accidents but if in rush hour traffic it will reroute you to side streets that doesn’t have traffic feedback (which are often worse than Expressways). However it has saved me a few times with Accidents and construction closures.
FM Transmitter is great for playing MP3’s via stereo.

What's great about it: Able to SYNC with Cell phone
What's not so great: Need to purchase Map Updates
Awesome piece of navigation equipment. The voice instructions the frustration when driving in a new area. The ability to plot additional way points are extremely helpful when you need to make an unplanned stop at another location but do not desire to have to reprogram the trip. The computer just adds in the additional stop as part of your trip and recalculates the distance.
The Bluetooth feature is fantastic. The Nuvi can sync with you phone via Bluetooth download your phone numbers and allows you to call via the Nuvi without the need to dial from the phone. Who needs a Bluetooth headset when the Nuvi has a speak phone option that can work through your car stereo system with the ability to play MP3s.

What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate directions!
I looked at all kinds of GPS units out there and wound up with a NUVI. It was very easy to learn and has not left my side since I purchased it. The bluetooth feature is priceless. Most speaker phones I have used are not that great. Nobody I have talked to ever complained about not hearing me and I can hear them loud and clear through the internal speaker. The MP3 player is a nice added feature. Add a SD card and you can have hours of music at your fingetips. I use this as my MP3 player now (love the touchscreen). I would stongly urge anyone who travels be it a little or alot to invest in this handy tool.

What's great about it: Takes the stress off trips
What's not so great: Little pricey
This is a great tool.... I shopped for so long, my wife thought I would never get one. To me, Garmin is the easiest to learn and use. Very easy too navigate to new places, very correct from what I found, and I have not found the problems others have wrote about concerning their tom toms, or magellans. I did my homework, and glad I did. The bluetooth connection is great since I drive in Southern Cal. alot. The MSN traffic update is a must. Mine came with a free 1 year trial. I love it. So far, it has been very accurate. I also liked the speed of recalculations on missed turns. Very happe

What's great about it: MP3-FM Interface works flawlessly with GPS navigation
What's not so great: Expensive
There's a special joy in being able to seemlessly listen to your favorite tunes in between audio directions with the nuvi 670 or the enhanced version with bluetooth. The garmin works as advertised -- GPS is intuitive and provided correct directions 99% of the time (sometimes lacking end routes for more remote locations) and the MP3 play worked flawlessly through my FM sterio and switched off with GPS navigation audio without skipping a beat. Sure it's expensive but well worth it if you can spare the cash.

What's great about it: Big screen
What's not so great: lousy speaker, short battery life, little detail
I've owned Garmin products for almost 15 years, and was excited when I got my 1st NUVI. Less than a month the speakers had crapped out and had to send it in for repair. Two weeks later they sent me another unit back. Less than 30 days after that the batter died and wouldn't work unless pluged in to the charger. Sent it back and got a third unit again after about two weeks. This one the charger/traffic receiver bit the dust and had to be returned for a 4th time. I am on my 5th unit and only bought it 6 months ago. STAY AWAY from the NUVI until they get the bugs worked out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
