What's great about it: Great prints
What's not so great: Uses expensive ink too fast POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
"I went through all 6 $20.00 ink cartridges with only 25 printouts. I replaced all 6 cartridges a month ago and hadn't used it for a month. I went to use it the other day and nothing printed out. I tried cleaning the heads with the printer drivers and got the message saying "print head cleaning cannot be performed, change print heads." I sent an email to Epson Customer Support, telling them that I had changed the print heads a month ago and now it won't print anything. I told them I tried using the drivers to clean the heads and got the message. They sent me an email back saying "if the red light is blinking, replace ink cartridges" I sent them an email back reitterating that I had changed them a month ago and that the ink is way too expensive to dry up in one months time. I asked them for some coupons for their ink and they said "we do not have coupons for our ink" That was their only response. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY EPSON. BUY HP, KODAK OR CANON!"

Worst Printer ever!

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Everything
"This is the worst printer I have ever owned or used. It is OK for black and white text only. I have had this printer for about a year in a half. It goes through ink like water. $60 for about a 100 pages. Colors are bad and forget about doing any picture quality. I still use my 5 year old HP for that. Did I mention it is also the slowest printer I've ever used. Save your money!"

Love This Printer!

What's great about it: Outstanding prints, wide-format, individual ink cartridges.
What's not so great: NONE
"After 12 years as a loyal HP printer fan, I have 'crossed over'. I wanted a wide-format printer for my scrapbooking and only wanted one with individual ink cartridges. This is the only printer in this price range to meet that criteria. It does a beautiful job, on both matte and glossy, large prints & all. I don't find it to 'suck ink', but printing large photos will use ink faster - that is why I insisted on individual cartridges. This printer also seems to be well-built, I expect it to last for years."

Great Printer

What's great about it: Clear, sharp prints, ease of use
"I am so glad I got this printer. I was ready to buy one from another maker, but it was out of stock, so bought this one. I was not disappointed with the purchase. This is a great printer. The first large format print I did was super, no distortions that can come with enlarging digital files. I'm looking forward to trying other sizes and finally printing some of my own work for framing."

Great printer for the money

What's great about it: inexpensive
What's not so great: quality of prints isnt up to pro standards
"I dont know what the other 2 reviews are talking about. This printer doesnt suck ink dry any faster than any other printer I have used. I am a professional photographer and we use this printer as a proofing printer before we send prints to the lab. This renders great images. I dont know what the other person was talking about either, ink runs out in 2 weeks. They must never print because ours runs out every 3-4 days. If yours lasts 2 weeks you must not print or you use the worst settings on there which is then pointless to even use."

Love my Printer

"This is the best printer I've owned. I love all the possibilities, such as the ability to print 12 X 12 scrapbook pages (borderless if desired). I can really appreciate the fact that I can replace one ink color at a time. It has gorgeous print quality, crystal clear pictures every time. I purchased it primarily for scrapbook pages, but have done borderless 4 X 6 prints and 8 X 10's as well and they are easy and wonderful too. My only con is that some ink colors seem to run out so much faster, no matter if you purposely try not to use that color, the yellow, light cyan and light magenta seem to suck dry soooo much quicker than any other colors."

Versatile printer

"I've used it for almost 2 months now, and everything I've printed has turned out great - it's been mostly text and B&W CD printing. Watch you print settings, though, to help conserve ink. Cartridges that came with it ran out in about 2 weeks, so make sure you have backups."
