We bought this dishwasher around about May of 2007 and have had no problems whatsoever. Originally my husband and I wanted to spend around 400 for a dishwasher. We almost went with the Whirlpool one around that price range but I couldn't do it. I opened the door on it and twisted it alittle. It felt like it was gonna fall off! The insdie looked cheap and generic.
We were ready to leave and then the sales guy showed us this kitchenaid and I was set on it. The construction visually was top notch, the door opens and shuts like it should. The inside is pretty stainless.
She's quiet, cleans well, and we have had absolutely no problems. Although we spent 300 dollars more it was worth it! My sister bought a new house and with it came the maytag whirlpool dw we originally wanted to buy, so glad we made the better choice. Hers is loud, the door doesn't shut well, and its small inside.

This dishwasher is top notch, does exactly what it is supposed to do. What more could you ask for. Pay the extra. I still talk to my husband today about us going out on a limb and paying more...boy was it worth it:) Couldn't be a happier customer.
What's great about it: Looks good, quiet, cleans perfectly. Does what it is supposed to!
What's not so great: Nothing so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the third dishwasher I've owned and by far the best! Would not hesitate to recommend it to someone else.
What's great about it: Quiet, cleans great, looks great, solid
What's not so great: None

I bought the Kitchenaid after having a ge dishwasher that was really loud and did not clean well. After doing some research on different brands of dishwashers, it became clear to me that Kitchenaid was the quietest (based on many other reviews and my own after purchasing) and outperforms other brands in its cleaning capabilities.
This is by the far the best dishwasher I have ever purchased! I highly recommend this dishwasher as there are no cons whatsoever with this machine.
What's great about it: incredibly quiet, cleans well, looks nice on outside & inside
What's not so great: nothing!
I would recommend this to a friend!
