Poor Quality, lousy customer service

What's great about it: Keeps food cold
What's not so great: Poor quality, frequent service calls, poor warranty
"Bought refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave. All have required service under warranty and after expiration of warranty. I have contacted LG, and even though they admit the design of the ice maker was poor, they required me to replace it at my expense with an updated design. They customer service rep tells me its my problem not theirs."

What's great about it: Nice interior layout, very quiet and nice features
What's not so great: Ice maker design needs work, jams easily
"Nice design features inside and out. Since this was cabinet depth, know that the top is "unfinished". The icemaker continues to jam if not used daily. Otherwise, quiet operation, nice functionality and good looks make it a winner."

What's great about it: lots of space
What's not so great: none
"Love it, has a beep to notify when doors arent shut after certain amount of time, my toddler cant open it like the one at Grandmas house!!! Keeps finger prints off very well, looks fantastic in the kitchen, stays cool water and ice work great, no complaints at all, lots of space inside can fit more food in it than any other fridge weve ever owned."

Wonderful fridge

What's great about it: quiet, efficient, perfect temp, lots of space
What's not so great: took a while for temp to even out
"I bought this refrigerator 4 months ago and am very pleased. It looks good - sleek lines. It is super quiet. It doesn't say in the spec's, but it seems like the refrigerator part runs separately from the freezer part... which saves $. It doesn't cool when you have the door open, which saves $ and energy. The layout is great. I'm very pleased with this. The only negatives are that it took a few weeks for the temperatures to stabilize, but now it works great. Also, the buttons are not lit up so you when you're not used to it you (or guests) can accidentally change the temperature controls without realizing it. Simple fix, but the design could be improved."

What's great about it: great climate control, even temperature even to the door items
What's not so great: none
"Great look, easy to clean, the climate control is even throughout all cabins. Even the items on the door get equal amount of chill. The freezer is great too. It helps eliminate any items from gathering freezer burn. Easy to use, filter is easy to assemble and disassemble. overall, great buy, I am really happy with the LG line of everything!"
