"This is the second small portable mouse I get, and have to say it is a great improvement on my previous one from a competitor. The mouse is responsive and effortless is how you install and utilize it. I even tried it with an old machine and it worked!"

"Having just bought a Macbook, i was looking for the best wireless mouse on the market. After reading a lot of negative reviews on the apple mouse (it is expensive also!), i decided to try this kensington mouse which had great reviews.
It is enough to say that i could not have chosen any better. It will work as soon as you plug it in. Compatibility with apple, windows, and i have even tried it with Mandriva Linux and it just worked as well instantly.
Price was well worth it, its almost half of the apple mouse cost....
Finally it has a great sleek design (the rubber band has not worn out in my case, as one of the reviewers claimed). Of all, the only "bad" thing is that the usb sensor you plug in is a kind of long (or at least takes more desk space than i would like) just fear i might brake it/disconnect it when putting things in the desk or moving the laptop around."

What's great about it: Simple and sleek design, decent battery life
What's not so great: Rubber siding didn't last

"At first I really liked this mouse. It had a pleaseat-looking and simple design. When on the go, the USB receiver can be hidden away in the bottom of the mouse, excellent for notebooks.

However, over time, the rubber siding (can't really be seen in the pictures) where my thumb rested became well-worn. I'd have to tear off a small piece of the thinned-out material so it wasn't in the way. At this point, after a few month's regular use, there's virtually nothing left in that spot. It's a big eyesore as well as kind of an annoyance feeling the plastic edge underneath.

That would be it's major flaw, really, but it's kind of a big one. If it's going to wear out like that, it shouldn't be there in the first place."

"This was a great little mouse, while it lasted. Worked with my Macbook immediately although the adapter sticking out of the side was a bit annoying. I'm just not happy that it did not last very long."

What's great about it: Very responsive, packs up nicely, better for your hand
What's not so great: A slight learning curve on hand posture

"I like this mouse a lot. I'm a graphic designer and I love this mouse because it packs up easy but it still gives me the responsiveness I need.
The design is flat, and not curved upward like most mice, so it takes a little to get used to, but I prefer it now to normal mice.
There's not much more that can be said other than, it's a laptop mouse that works like it's supposed to and its flat design allows for easy travel."

What's great about it: Looks cool, works great

"Have had this mouse for about a week and I love it. Had a wired mouse before and the freedom is nice. I'm an apple guy, and the styling fits right in with my mac. Simple, elegant, above average functionality.
It is small and lightweight. I could easily see myself taking it in my laptop bag. Plug and use with your mac. Didn't have to install software or anything.
GREAT PRODUCT!"

What's great about it: Slim and sleek design
What's not so great: A bit heavy after awhile

"Have to say I purchased the mouse because of it's sleek design and I wasn't sure how the mouse would perform. Looks are very deceiving. This mouse is very very comfortable in it's style and light at first, and very user friendly. Nothing to download, just plug and use. Have purchased many wireless mice before this one, and I am so sorry I did not find this one sooner. I would highly recommend this mouse for home or office and even laptop. This product is worth every penny, and I am even thinking of purchasing a Kennsington keyboard to match the mouse. AWESOME product."

What's great about it: extender for the USB connection to make the wireless capability flexible
What's not so great: manual is not as detailed as needs to be about the auto-off feature

"A comment about LoloBozo's review about this product - nowhere in the description for this mouse on either http://www.kensington.com or the Best Buy website is there any mention of this mouse being capable of wired operation and the mouse does NOT open - the only wire included with the mouse was included to be attached to the USB port of the computer and the other end attached to the receiver for the signal from the mouse so that you can vary how far the mouse can be from the USB port of the computer.
This mouse can be turned off in one of two ways: 1) unplug the USB receiver and attach it to the bottom of the mouse, this immediately turns off the mouse or 2) do not move the mouse or click with it for a period of time, this automatically turns it off.
When it comes to the manual, yes, it is nice to have the directions in 6 languages, it would be nice to include a sentence or 2 about how to re-activate the mouse after the auto-off feature is activated. It took me a minute or two to figure out that just moving the mouse does not turn it back on, you actually have to click one or the other of the buttons."

Apple replacement 02/29/2008

What's great about it: Just put in the batteries and go...

"I needed to replace my Apple wireless mouse because of the scroll wheel. Did some on line research of the different brands available. Kensington products seem to match up with Apple very well, without having to download any drivers. With this mouse, when you press the scroll wheel the finder comes up just like the apple mouse did. Can't say how long it will last. However, you can replace two of these and still be ahead price wise of one Apple."

What's great about it: slim profile, very comfortable in the hand, light weight, usb stick stores right on the bottom of the mouse

"The minute i got to the mouse section of my best buy store, this one caught my eye (almost reminiscent of an apple mighty mouse), and when i picked it up i knew i had to have it. I love the way it feels in my hands, and the click buttons and scroll wheel are awesome, very well crafted mouse. HIGHLY reccomend!!!"

Great Mouse On the Go 02/10/2008

What's great about it: power saving, slim profile, backup wired capability

"I am recommending this mouse to everyone I work with. It's slim profile slips into my briefcase or purse, it looks cool and the backup wired feature is great. When you open the mouse (VERY easy - it's magnetic) there is a wire that is coiled around inside you can use the USB to attach to the PC - no worries on batteries dying mid-trip.
Great design, innovative features, cool look - all in one package."

What's great about it: small, portable, elegant design
What's not so great: USB connection sticks out a ways

"Wonderful mouse and the USB connection fits into the bottom of the mouse. It's handy and I can take it anywhere. It's good because I can use it with either hand. Only cons I can see is the USB connection sticks out a ways. You have to use it on a solid surface, it doesn't work on glass. Otherwise a good investment. I would definelty recommend this mouse."
