What's great about it: Everything works perfectly.
What's not so great: Not Dual Band, No gigabit ports.
"This router serves me well. The network printer and network storage works flawlessly. I was able to connect 2 laptops at 300 mbps (max) on my wireless N and 270 mbps(min) during heavy load (watching netflix movies). All wired computers runs at full speed without any problems(My twins love playing Counter Stike on both wired pc simultaneously). They key to every set-up was to do your homework first. You have to consider the interference genrated by your electronic devices(such as microwaves, phones, and etc.) before deciding and making a purchase. Most of the electronic devices operates at 2.4 ghz and 5.8 ghz that will greatly affect your wireless performance. Even the most expensive cell phone is also affected by interference."

"This router worked fine with a couple of PC laptops, and range is pretty good, but it did NOT like my MacBook. Constant dropped connections were pretty annoying. The fact that it died 18 months after I bought it does not thrill me either."

What's great about it: When it actually works, it works well....
What's not so great: Internet randomly disconnects multiple times a day....
"My father and brother both have their degrees as IT technicians, and all of us are fed up with this router .... It worked great for a while, then all of a sudden the router just drops the internet (and we know its the router because the modem still shows carrying the internet). It could happen once a week, or 10 times in a day (most frequently 2+ times a day on average). All I can say is ... DON'T WASTE YOUR CASH ON THIS!"

What's great about it: Wonderfully fast, wireless works so quick, Fast hardwired
What's not so great: Doesn't work half the time
"I bought this router because I needed something for college so I could hardwire in a desktop while having my laptops on wireless. I got that, however the connection drops a lot. Now its either the schools internet hates the router or my router hates the schools internet. I just tried doing a wireless connection from my pc to the router and hopefully it works."

What's great about it: works well, hardly drops signal, could go on forever
What's not so great: can't think of any
"This product works perfectly. Range is fantastic as i actually use this along with a wireless adapter to get high speed on my desktop computer which is about 25-30ft and 4 concrete steel reinforced walls away from where the router actually is. Setting up was as easy as plug n play if you are just using it for its basic functions and the additional setups such as security and firewall functions were quite simple. In the 5 or so months that i have had this router i had to reboot it all of about 1 times and this can easily be done remotely from my desktop at anytime. Download speeds are fantastic and streaming video and audio is as seamless as if i were actually hardwired to a modem. I even make VoIP calls across this thing... I would recommend this product to anyone cuz it works great!!!!"

What's great about it: Fast wired. Easy set up.
What's not so great: Gets very hot. Signal Loss. Connection recovery a hassle. Signal not top of its class.
"Great value for its price tag. I have owned this router for 6 months. Only issues I have with this router are: gets too hot. Whenever your ISP goes down then returns, the router seems to have difficulty connecting causing you to have to restart the router most times. Innacurate icon lights (it states that you are connected but infact you are not).
Somewhat weak signal (69-75% 30+ feet, 3 rooms away). 1-3 dropped connections a week. Aside from my negative comments, this router has proven to be durable. Like any router you will hit or miss. I am satisfied with this router overall."

What's not so great: setting up the security manually, but u can call and they will walk u thru the set up
"I bought the item 1st and after reading some of the review I was thinking about taking it back, but since I already had it I said what the heck and hooked it up.
boy, i´m glad I bought this router It took me less then 2 minutes to hook up and the range and speed is just amazing. This by far is the best router I´ve had.
I have two laptops running windows vista and no problems at all.

What's great about it: Easy set up and excellent range
What's not so great: Security encryption is not automatic and must be set up manually
"The router works really well and I receive a 72Mbps signal to my PC with the router on the other side of my house. My internet speed is the same as if I was hard-wired. Set up was easy and I received a wireless signal within 15 minutes. Setting up security encryption was more of a challenge and will take more time if you are a “novice” with wireless networking like I am.
Good product and it works like a charm. Well worth the price."

What's great about it: High speed, great signal, easy setup, good looking!
"This router is great.
It has a great setup and it connects you in 30 seconds.
I had some problems with my internet speed with my last router, but with this one, I have a 18 MB connection speed, everywhere in my house.
I used this router for movie streaming and these stuff, and it works great. There was no halt or slow down during streaming.
It also looks great. The lights are very meaningful. You can easily find your situation by the lights.
I just had some problems for securing my network by one of my old laptop, which I believe was related to my old windows on that laptop."

"This unit never seemed to work for me, we have four computers in the house and only one (a Dell Laptop) will consistently connect wirelessly. I bought a Belking adapter, that wouldn't even stay connected. Poor performance, not recommended."

"I bought this when it was on sale for $39.00 so the price was very good for an N router. I upgraded because in my house we had a B router and decided to upgrade. The range is much better so I can get internet throughout my whole house and the speed is much faster. So if you have a B router I would for sure upgrade to this router. This also supports B and G cards so even if your laptop doesn't have N capability you will still be happy with the range and I would think that your speeds would improve too. Also setup was easy so you don't need geeksqaud to set it up. Just make sure you secure your router as it does not do that automatically in the setup cd."

What's great about it: good and a low cost 39.99 (must ask for store to do price match to web price)
What's not so great: setup could be confusing to newbie. Read the manual. Informative.
"Awesome price. I don't need to stream media. Just wanted something with good range for internet and WOW, no reboots, strait forward modem with no perks and did I say cheap for draft N. Also not noticing any interference with my 2.4ghz phone or older ceiling fans going at the same time. Ran a internet speed test on 3 wireless connections and 1 wired at the same exact time and download and upload speeds pretty equal between all with no notice in lag. 2 wireless computers 100 feet away upstairs at 96%, Wii wireless, Nintendo DS, and main wired computer. OS's are XP home sp3 and Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Qos shows in the menu hmmmm nice. First set up is left open and unsecure. You must go into the menu and set up the firewall and security."

"If you could give something zero stars, this device would deserve it!! I've had this router for over a year now and you'd think that by now they would come up with some decent firmware for this device, but even after all this time this router is still a piece of junk. I've tried multiple versions of firmware and none of them seem to fix the problems that I have. For starters, I couldn't even get the security setup and working when I first got this without updating the firmware! I keep losing connection to it on two different laptops and I've tried to bridge another wireless router to it (a good Linksys router with DD-WRT) and it doesn't like that (I know it's not the Linksys router). The thing constantly needs to be rebooted to fix connection issues. I could go on for a lot longer, but this thing has already wasted enough of my time!
OK, to make a long story short, don't buy this router, it doesn't work very well at all."

"I bought this router two days ago hoping I'd be able to run our PS3 and Wii on it. I connected with my PS3 fairly easy, but speeds were pretty slow. The real problem is trying to access the internet on my desktop which is wired through one of the four ports. I cannot get a connection to save my life, and when I do, it lasts only a few minutes and is lost again. It's nice that I can gain mediocre wi-fi, but it truly irritates me to no end that my wired connection now suffers.
I paid $59.99 for this two days ago and now I write a review and see it's on sale for $39.99. Hmmm, wonder why. I'll be returning it tomorrow on my way home from work and probably picking up a Linksys. I'll let you know how that one works out."

"purchased this router 4 days ago. I was so impress how quick the set up was . But wow the connections is dreadful , it times out ever 5 to 10 minutes whats up with that. I do alot of video streaming HAHAHAH i cant even download 1min of the video.
so this is a NO NO for me. IT WAS RETURNED TODAY and exchanged it with a NET GEAR wireless router."

"Belkin made this router look really nice. Really they did, but it's what is on the inside that counts. From day one it was as though my wireless speeds were like dial up. Signal constantly dropped out, as well as constant time outs when downloading files.
Did not work well with my MacBook Pro; every time I turned it on I had to restart the wireless card just to get on the internet.
All in all, quite disappointing."

"This router is a disaster. My Macs hated it and I had non stop problems with all the other items on my networks. (Xbox 360, Wii. iPhones, AppleTV). There were times when just logging in to the router to change settings was impossible.
I got the Linksys N Router and its a dream compared to this one."

"My sister bought this router at BestBuy Cerritos last week, I installed the router and setup her network. Installation was easy, configuring the network is not as easy as Linksys. Speed with my Linksys G is faster than of this router. But with its price, its ok."
