Ended up returning the product

What's great about it: Quiet What's not so great: Leaks, auto turn off, filter
"I recently purchased an air purifier made by Honeywell based on reviews and was happy with the quality of the product. We needed a humidifier for the bedroom so I though this unit would be a good fit. After using it for two days I ended up returning it. The unit is very quiet and you can see the mist coming out which means it effectively emits humidity into the room but that was not enough to convince me it was a quality product. The first problem I noticed was that the top of the unit leaked when filling. It did not leak when it was upright but when it was turned upside down during filling water trickled out of the top. It's suppose to have an auto shut off feature when the canister is empty but the unit remained on long after the mist stopped coming out. In the instructions it states that when it's time to replace the filter you'll notice a layer of white dust or build up surrounding the humidifier. The first day using it I noticed the white dust which leads me to believe the filter is not working properly. I thought maybe I just got a lemon and was planning to exchange it but my local best buy where I didn't buy it originally no longer carries humidifiers/air cleaners so I ended up getting a refund."

What's great about it: Quiet, no filter What's not so great: Blue light is BRIGHT, tank hard to fill
"It's been a pretty solid unit that does a good job. From a day to day standpoint, they really went with form over function here. Filling the tank is tough. Opening it is annoying as the lid is small and hard to grip, especially when wet. Then, because of the angled shape, you can't just sit it in your sink and let it fill - instead you have to hold it in place the whole time. Very annoying. Longer-term, after a couple of months, the unit needed to be cleaned as whatever build-up was going on inside made it stop functioning after about 20 minutes. We put a little vinegar in the base and let it sit for an hour, which solved the problem. Then we put a little vinegar in the tank to really clean it out. That seemed to work out. Overall, cheap and consistent, plus no filters is nice and convenient (and saves money). Still glad I got it."
