"Mario and his crew of friends are back and in this installment of mario soccer and the wii only makes this game better. With new soccer fields and the wii integrated moves this game is better than its predecessor. With the goalie feature of saving each captain's super shot makes this a ton of fun. Definitely a game you should pick up if you're a fan of any mario sports game, one of the best games out there for wii so far."

"For those looking for the fun of Mario Kart wrapped into a sports game, look no further. Mario Strikers Charged offers infinite replay value as every game experience is unique and challenging. The mash-up of different captains and sidekicks adds to the strategic complexity of the game, while the use of power-up items and weapons keeps you on your toes. Online play is fun, but I prefer bashing around my friends which are in the same room. Graphics are great, and gameplay is fun. What more could you ask for?"

"This is a must have for any mario lover out there. I had the Gamecube version of this game and also loved it. The wii's advanced motion sensing alows for a smoother more enjoyable game play compare to the first. The only reason i give this game four stars is because of the issues that Nintendo has online sometimes, but that isn't the game's fault now is it. Highly recommend this one folks!!!"

"it is awesome to play online but the snigle player isn't that bad itself.very high action packed game. fast paced and it can get pretty crazy at times with shells bombs and everything flying around which personally i find hilairious..deffinately worth it"

"Well, out of both Madden and Pokemon Battle revolution anyway. If you played the origninal Mario strikers then you should know the basics. If you haven't, its basically a soccer game with that mario style twist. Your basic mario characters are here from the first strikers game with new additions (like Bowser).
The graphics are a upgrade from the orignal but it won't push the wii's graphics to the breaking point.
The gameplay actually works for the wii's controls, you use the same buttons used on a regular controller, the only difference is that you use the motion controls some things (like shaking the controls to preform a tackle).
Now the single player is basically like any other sports game, you go against different teams and beat them to rank up and preform in the finals to obtain cups. Now where the game really shines is online. You have your random ranked matches that will rank you everytime you play, go against your friends online, and you have a leaderboard to tell you where you are in rankings for the day and the season.
Overall, Mario strikers charged is a great addition to your wii collection. If your a soccer fan looking for something different, a wii gamer looking for something that aren't minigames, or a online gamer who's been looking for a online game for the for your online deprived wii, this is your game."

"This game is really fun I got it and was very happy that it was online play. The only thing cheap on wifi is that people always disconnect on you. superstrikes are better than the one on the Gamecube and sidekicks have there own special shots."

Not Your Typical Soccer Game

"One of the Wii's first online-capable multiplayer games is a complete success! As one would expect, many improvements have been made over the original Super Mario Strikers that was released a couple years ago. A few of the major improvements include a superior CPU-AI, better graphics, online play, and new playable characters! You can now select from twelve captains and eight sidekicks to customize your team to fit your style of play. As was the case before, only team captains can perform the "Megastrike" but now sidekicks have their own special characteristics and abilities that make them feel like they actually contribute to the game! You are also able to play online with up to four players! (Two per Wii console) Online play is done by selecting existing friends to play against, or through a ranked system; game play is smooth and for the most part lag free. Some users have experienced issues with being suddenly disconnected while playing, but it's difficult to tell if it's a problem with the network, or if it's an opponent merely disconnecting (lame). To sum things up, the game as a whole is a fast paced and exciting game filled with decent single player challenges but I find the multiplayer/online aspect of this game to be the real selling point and it makes the purchase definitely worthwhile."
