What's great about it: cost, ability to install quality door speakers
What's not so great: nothing.. other places want at least $20 to $30 for exact same thing
After pulling the factory speakers from a cobalt i knew i was in trouble... what a stupid idea GM had for doing this.., having the door speakers molded into this frame.... so my only alternative was to check online to see if some one like metra or scosche made an adapter... sure enough after doing some research i found them... on ebay they were going for $20 to as high as $32... i found them on best buys website for $9.99... what a deal... i believe they are scosche.. quality seems great... thanks.... but BOOOOOOO to General Motors BOOOooOO... stupid, stupid IDEA for the factory speakers..

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: the holes for screws are kinda large.
These were extremely helpful in my installation of two sets of 6.5 component set. Each fit in the factory location nicely in front door and rear doors. You may need to use different screws than what came with your speakers when mounting to these as mine were not catching good, but I resolved the problem with a slightly bigger screw. Delivery was fast had item in hand in 4 days with regular shipping. Would definitely recommend to someone else.

What's great about it: did what its meant to do
I looked around in audio shops and everyone wanted to drill holes telling me that these adapters did not exist. Once I found them here I ordered them and was able to install the speakers myself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fit perfect for front doors. Will not work for rear extended cab doors. I was able to use foam cups with these brackets.
