We recently purchased a new home, and I was satisfied with the basic dryer the builder intended to provide. After much encouragement, however, I agreed to take my husband's advice and upgrade to this LG. It's great looking, drys quickly and makes very little noise. Paired with my LG front loading washer, it makes laundry chores very efficient
What's great about it: Quiet, fast and sleek looking
What's not so great: none

I received my washer and dryer a couple of weeks ago. On the first day, the flow sense indicator light (all three) appeared on the dryer display. After reading the manual, we double checked our duct work and lint filter to make sure that there wasn't a problem. I contacted LG and they recommended scheduling an authorized service person to check it out. He discovered that in order for a dryer to vent properly on the 2nd floor, it has to have the ability to push the hot air through the vent (about 15 ft) to the roof. I found out that LG, same with Bosch, has made this wonderful energy efficient dryer, but it can not handle a venting system similar to mine. It simply is not "strong enough" per the LG technician. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed, because I loved my new washer and dryer. I have learned a lot about appliances over the last two weeks. I am exchanging my LG for Samsung tomorrow!
What's great about it: features, drum light, drying rack, large capacity
What's not so great: not strong enough to vent air from 2nd floor laundry room
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I received my dryer I was totally impressed with the outer appearance. Very nice looking. Its very gently with the clothes and it dries rather quickly bcuz of how hot it gets. Very energy eficient and soundless.
