What's great about it: The speed and image quality
What's not so great: price but worth it
This printer is awesome it is great for what I bought it for. The image quality is unrivaled I think it may be able to fool a drink machine but a store has no chance it is the best printer I have ever had and pays for its self.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Outstanding color and true black and white
What's not so great: slow and big
This is the fourth Canon printer I have bought and is the best yet. The colors are true to life. I used to think my Canon i960 produced great pictures but this beats the output of that printer hands down. I was never able to get good results in B and W before. Now my output is as good as the prints I used to make in the darkroom. It was expensive but you get your moneys worth with this printer. For output to give to friends etc. I still use my i960, but for prints to hang on the wall this is all I use. The ink cartridges are small, but seem to go a long way. This is a BIG printer, and you need to leave lots of room around it for the straight paper path with heavy papers. Large borderless prints are only possible with Canons paper, which is a downside, but minor since Canon makes good papers. Be careful which paper you buy. Some don't work with pigment inks. Next to my Canon 5D this is the best purchase I have made. No regrets!
