"the pixels are great. the picture commes out nice. theres different setting. the zoom is nice aswell. i love the screen of the camera and its nice and small so you can fit it in your purse. i really recomment the accidental plan. Purchase it because even if you drop it or anything you GET A BRAND NEW ONE. no lie . my 7.0 sony silver fell. since they didnt have the same model anymore i got upgraded to this one =) and i got the accidental plan for this one now. ITS GREAT! =D"

"This camera works well in all conditions and produces high quality pictures. It's small and light enough to carry in my pocket.
I also like the telephoto lens not extending outside the body.
One only needs to be careful when holding the camera --- the first few pics I took wound up having part of my left hand's fingers in the shot because of the location of the lens."

A good camera when an SLR is not needed

"I'm not a big fan of point-and-shoots until I visited my friends in Europe and found that my SLR was just bulky and cumbersome. I came home needing a camera that I can take with me inside my pocket and will do the job of an SLR camera. So I looked into point-and-shoots.
This camera won me with its cool-factor and large LCD screen. The image quality was pretty good as well. I played around with the camera and found it easy to use (so easy, in fact that I never bothered reading the manual). The images were pretty good but shooting at full 8.1MP had some drawbacks (the images looked grainy, I'm guessing the onboard computer shoots at a higher ISO to compensate for as many situations as possible).
However, the images looked good and the 5x zoom is a cool feature. The images are sharp, the colors look good (skin tone can look to pinkish). There's even a built-in red-eye remover (though it does dupe the image without the red-eye). What makes this a good buy is that its size, weight and usability are a perfect combination. Get a large memory card and you can go a long time without needing to dump pictures to a DVD or a hard drive. This makes a great point-and-shoot for the casual photographer. It has all the standard-faire effects but the usability is its ultimate winner. The touchscreen and large LCD will win you when you start viewing images on the camera. Oh, and you can shoot video at 640x480, I think that's pretty awesome."

"The obvious big attraction to this camera is the size of the screen AND its touch-screen functionality. I went out and bought it as soon as I heard there was a completely touch screen sony camera.
The positives are that it does the job: great camera for its price. Takes decent pictures and stows away pretty much anywhere. Battery life is also really good.
Negatives are that the touch screen was a bit of a let down. After playing around with the iphone and ipod touch, I was expecting a cool sony interface but was disappointed. the menu and functions are a bit pixely and outdated. The camera itself takes OKAY pictures. It is what one would expect of a small compact camera."

"I absolutely love this camera. Great pictures, great features. Great for camera for someone looking to take a picture w/o having to read a manual the size of a textbook. I went to a concert and didn't have the best seats...but I did get the best pictures. The LCD screen on the back is beautiful. My only issue with this camera is that the LCD screen is a touch screen but it didn't include a stylus. I ended up buying one seperately for about 30.00 dollars."

"I HAD MY EYE ON THIS CAMERA FOR MONTHS BEFORE I HAD TO BUY IT MYSELF (WANTED PARENTS TO BUY IT FOR ME)... I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA BACK IN OCTOBER OF '07, A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE MY MOM'S SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY (I WANTED IT THE WEEKEND BEFORE B/C WE DID THE RELAY FOR LIFE, CANCER WALK) AND IT WAS GREAT, I TOOK SO MANY PICURES. I TAKE IT WITH ME JUST ABOUT EVERYTIME I'M OUT.. NEVER KNOW WHAT U MIGHT SEE. I'VE TAKEN IT WITH ME TO TWO CONCERTS SO FAR, ANOTHER ONE NEXT WEEK, @ FIRST I WASN'T EXPECTING THE BEST OUT OF THE CAMCORDER CAPABILITY (THOUGHT IMAGE WOULD BE POOR AND SOUND WOULD BE STATICKY B/C ITS SMALL SIZE), BUT WHEN I PLUGGED IT UP TO REPLAY IT ON THE TV, IMAGE AND SOUND.. GREAT!! I'V GOTTEN SOOO MANY COMPLEMENTS, ON HOW NICE IT IS. I'VE EVEN PARTED WITH IT TO LET MY SISTER USE IT WHEN SHE HAD WENT UP NORTH FOR A CONFRENCE WITH CO-WORKERS (THEY COMPLEMENTED HER ON IT TOO) AND EVEN WITH MY PARENTS WHEN THEY WENT TO MEXICO.. ITS SO EASY TO USE, MY MOM WAS ABLE TO USE IT (SHE'S NOT THE BEST WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY).. BUT ALL IN ALL I WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMEND THIS CAMERA.. "PROS:
This camera was turned out to be a pretty good purchase. If you're looking for a nice small, pocket size camera that's very portable, LOOK NO FURTHER! The camera itself fits easily into my pocket so I take it with me everywhere. One of the best attributes of this camera is the screen size...3.5"! The entire back of the camera is the screen which makes it extremely easy for even an 80 yr. old to see. Plus, it's touch screen so it's a lot easier to find the settings that you want. With the camera being 8 megapixels, the prints look great especially with really big prints and/or doing a ton of cropping. It's also able to connect to a television via HD so the quality of the pictures looks even better. I've been able to use this camera @ concerts and the pictures have come out beautifully and with the 5x optical zoom, I can really get close.
CONS:
One of the cons is the fact that the camera doesn't have a viewfinder. Normally this bothers me and it probably will now that it is going to be sunnier outside, but for now it's not really that bad because the LCD is so huge. A viewfinder would just be nice for the really sunny days because glare drives me crazy sometimes.
The only other con I have is that sometimes the color is a bit off on some of my portrait type pictures. I have to play around with the flash a bit because my pictures sometimes come out with a yellowish tint and/or the eyes are really red. I haven't had the camera for 2 months yet, so I'm still getting used to all the settings.
Other than those 2 things, the camera overall is great! At the price that I got it, it was a great deal and has turned out to be a really fun new toy!
If you're looking for a small camera, I would definitely recommend the T200."
