What's great about it: Great pics, great size, great everything
What's not so great: More colors i guess
"The Sony DSC T200 is the best digital camera on the market for its size.
The ease of use with the touch screen is perfect, navigtating your way through the menu/options is cake.
The quality of picture is fantastic and all of the different camera options are amazing.
I am able to carry this thing in my pocket anywhere, I would recommend a case though.
If this is the style of camera you are looking for; small, sleek, powerful and technologically savy then this is the camera for you."

"I just purchased this camera from best buy about 2 weeks ago and have been a picture nut! this camera takes the best pictures! Great face detection, and even has a smile mode. You just cant go wrong! a tad pricey, but (you get what you pay for) This camera is awesome."

Good Camera...but not Great

What's great about it: Screen size, touch-screen, slim profile, 5x zoom, smile shutter, editting features
What's not so great: Could have been even better...video recording
"As
a digital camera, in purely the strictest sense of the word, this
camera is absolutely amazing. Pocket size camera, 5x zoom lens which
doesn't protrude, easy to navigate touch screen menu, smile shutter
(which takes pictures when the subject smiles rather than conventional
methods), and in camera photo editting make this a phenomenal digital
camera. However...it does have it's weaknesses. The battery life is not
very impressive. What good is it to have storage space for hundreds of
photos and a pocket size camera if you have to change the battery more
frequently than most cameras or have to carry around spare batteries.
Secondly, the video recording mode only records continuously for 10 min
at a time. So even though a 2GB card may have space for a 1.5hr video,
that would be 9 x 10 min videos...not one big one."

What's great about it: Sony is reliable, large screen, small body, in camera editing
What's not so great: menu format changes a little troublesome
"I recently upgraded to the T200 from an earlier Cybershot. This camera line has been more than reliable and has proven itself to be an excellent point and shoot camera. It's small size allows me to bring it anywhere and capture some of my favorite moments!
Using all of the formatting options on the camera have become more work than I'd like since the addition of the "Home" button. I don't like having to switch screens to change my options from Scene selection and Automatic settings.
I have had no connectivity or interface issues with my Mac or my PC."

What's great about it: Anti-shake technology, 5x optical zoom, 3.5" LCD screen, Face Detection, good photo and video quality
What's not so great: sluggish movement
"This camera is absolutely perfect for the everyday compact camera user. Once you get past the attractive appearance and large LCD screen, the camera can do everything you could ever want from a compact. The 5x optical zoom is definitely a step up from the 3x zoom on my last camera, and the face detection is perfect for taking pictures of friends and family in any situation. So far, I've had the camera for about 6 months, and it has been perfect for me in every situation from traveling to taking pictures in dim light while at dinner. Overall, this camera is perfect for everyday users who don't need anything too advanced, but want to be prepared for anything and be able to take a good picture."

What's great about it: It's a great camera. Picture quality and the resolution is awesome. It's also compact.
What's not so great: The price is a little bit high for this camera and also the spring could get lose for the slide.
"I personally like this camera because it doesn't take a lot of space in my pocket. Like I said the quality is great. There aren't much buttons so there's little confusion on what the each button does. The screen is big so you can see the pictures better."

10minutes movie at a time

What's not so great: 10 minutes movie clip??!!!
"Ok, so I just bought this camera this past weekend. So far I'm happy with the picture taking quality. HOWEVER, I discovered that the camera can only record movies continuously for 10min. Now I have a 4GB memory stick in it. So this doesn't make sense why Sony would make a camera like this. I call the tech support at Sony and spoke to two different people and they both told me the same thing, which is it records movie for only 10 minutes at a time. I had other cameras that don't even do that. Even my cell phone records movie til it runs out of memory. I'm going to return this camera."

What's great about it: Excellent picture quality, touch screen, looks good in black!
What's not so great: Menu is somewhat complicated; some users may not be able to pick up the camera and just use it.
"This camera is great, exactly what you expect from Sony. In black it is really slick. The slider over the lens is cool too. It helps protect the lens and the flash. The touchscreen works really well it is surprisingly accurate and always seems to hit what you want it to hit. The 5x optical zoom is also a plus considering alot of camera's only have a 3x zoom and then like 200000x digital zoom...which is pretty much pointless. Only bad thing I can say about it is the menu can sometimes be a pain to work with when you first start using the camera, but once you get the hang of it, its a great choice."

"I was a little skeptical about buying a slim camera at this price, but I'm glad that I did, and for the price, you're about a hair below the quality of a big ol' SLR camera in certain conditions (and it beats lugging it around). It's pretty steady at night (doesn't give a lot of fuzzy pictures), and the zoom doesn't come out fuzzy either (it does if you have the shakes, but if you hold it fairly still, you can snap off a great 5x zoom picture)."

"This camera has features that are just unbeatable in a small point and shoot digital camera. Both the 5x zoom and the flash are much better than previous cameras we have owned. This camera also has more shooting modes than most small cameras. Given the beautiful and large LCD screen, the battery life is surprisingly good. I have used this camera in all conditions (bright sun, indoors, cloudy, nighttime) and have been equally pleased with all of our shots. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone."
