What's great about it: Cheap price

"This printer works pretty well, even though it's a little bit slow. But the price was very cheap when i brought it, it only costed me $16.50. So it's a good buy."

What's great about it: not expensive all in one
What's not so great: not the best for photo quality; have to buy USB cord to go with it
"I like the price b/c I got this one in a package so I only paid 20.00 for it. Not the best for the best quality photos but works good enough for the price. Very good speed. The last one I had was a 1996 model so of course the speed is much improved."

Excellent for the Price

What's great about it: Cost and Quality
What's not so great: Won't work with Windows ME or older. Doesn't have a USB cable
"I bought this to replace an aging HP all-in-one that could no longer print business cards properly. For the price, the quality is excellent and the print speed is better than the HP it replaced. The only down side is that I have an older computer with windows ME and it won't work on it, but it works great with my wife's Vista machine. I read the other reviews and made sure that it came with the printer cartridges that some said were missing. The only other thing is to make sure you have a USB cable for it as it does not come with one."

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: nothing
"The scanner is really good no matter what type of document or picture you are trying to scan. It has a black/white & color copier feature on it, which really helps as a college student for notes and all types of stuff. There are different type of printing features on it, so if you want to save ink and the print doesn't need to be the best, you can use fast draft style and it helps save your cartridge. I think everyone should have this, especially for the price!!!"

What's great about it: super quick, very efficient
What's not so great: ink is expensive, around $40
"This scanner serves well for my art uses for it. I can scan all my illustrations in and edit them ahead of time before coloring them on PhotoShop with the easy to use software it comes with. I can also make copies so I never have to run the risk of ruining an original copy of any illustration. I give it 2 thumbs up!"

FYI about USB Cable

What's great about it: Easy set up
What's not so great: USB cable not included, must purchase seperately or already have a USB cable
"On the box the contents are: The all-in-one device, the ink cartriges, the CD-ROM/Printed documents, and the power cord. The USB cable is not included. We used our USB cable from the old printer we replaced with the Canon printer.
I just wanted to mention it because that would be so frustrating to get your new printer home and be all excited to use it only to find out you have to go back to the store and buy a USB cable, which run around $40 a pop.
Best Buy is really good about asking you if you already have any accessories that are not included with the products before you go to the counter to purchase them.
The print quality is really good for this product."

What's great about it: Ink lasts a very long time
What's not so great: A little slower than my last printer
"My last printer was not an all-in-one, just a cheap basic printer. This one does everything I need, all in 1 unit. I love the way everything closes up when not in use - that keeps out dust and protects it well. I also like the fact that I can use it without having my computer turned on, for copies or for photos. It takes up less space than my separate scanner and printer once did, so I have more room on my desk for writing. It's quick and does a very good job for the money. I've printed quite a bit and still have plenty of ink left, so I think this printer will save me money over what I was paying for ink."

"This is by far one of the best i have had and i have had several printers, copiers and scanners over the years.
Do not let the price fool you. i was always told you get what you pay for but in this case i feel i got a whole lot for not much cost!
The copier is so easy to use..takes no time at all and the copy is great!
I have all ready used up ink and back to best buy to buy more. was surprised...does not look like much ink but a little really goes a long way with this all-in-one.
i have printed out a lot of pages for work with the ink provided with the printer.
you will definately love this if you are like me. i love it because it really is so easy to use! i do not enjoy complicated things, no time for them in my business i need something that will do the work fast and that i do not need to spend days reading manuals! This is Perfect!!"

What's not so great: Printer cartridge componets missing
"I usually read reviews on products before I make a purchase and unfortunatley did not for this printer. I had the same problem as another consumer. The cartridge componet was missing and I could not use my new printer for a very important work assignment that needed to be done the night I purchased it. Now I also have to be inconvenienced by bringing it back to the store. I really hope they offer some compensation with gas prices the way they are today!!"

This Printer is an All In One Disappointment.

What's great about it: Can't say for the following reasons.
What's not so great: None
"I am disappointed because the printer cartridges for my MP210 that were to be installed could not be installed because the components to install them were gone!!!
The printer needs to work right out of the box or they shouldn't be sold.
They could have come with the wrong size cartridges too. Now I have to take the printer back to the store for an exchange.
However I ruled out the cartdridge part after I looked at the user manual and saw the cartridges were correct in the diagrams because they matched the cartridges that I had to buy. And that there were components in my printer that were missing too, because the diagrams didn't match..."

What's great about it: Prints quickly; good picture quality
What's not so great: Sometimes a little slow to load files
"I bought this printer as part of a package with a Gateway computer and screen. In the two months I have had it it works great. I have used all three functions on a regular basis, and other than some of the scanned images losing some of their resolution, it works great. At times it seems like data is a little slow to transfer, but otherwise it's been a very smooth machine. It replaced a nearly 5-year-old HP inkjet printer, and I'm quite happy with the Canon's performance."

Great little printer

What's great about it: The all in one features are great and the quality of the print jobs is great.
What's not so great: Slightly bigger than our old printer, but the size is needed for the copying feature.
"Our compact little printer had to be replaced. This was a comparable replacement although we were hesitent because it was slightly bigger and we have limited desk space. This printer has been a dream for us. It closes up when not in use and it allows us to make copies whenever they are needed rather than running to the convenience store. It also allows us to print some of our photos at home.
The ink cartridges are so easy to replace and they are reasonably priced."
