What's great about it: Beautiful stove. What's not so great: Oven and burners shut off while cooking.
"I am returning my stove and replacing it with the gas version. It has not worked from day one. And the parts have been ordered and never seem to come in??? So, I am returning it now while I still can. It is brand new! It shuts off in the middle of cooking! How are you supposed to cook like that? Then I read some of the other reviews and it sounds like I'm not the only one with this problem, so I'm getting rid of it while I still can."

What's great about it: Clean design What's not so great: Shuts off before cooking is done
"I've not had this range two weeks and I wish I still had my 24 year old range which it replaced. I start the bake cycle and sometimes the oven doesn't heat to temperature. Other times it does heat to temperature but shuts completely off before the food is done. I couldn't cook a cake if I wanted to with the heat dropping. The other day the cooktop burner did the same thing. I had my previous range 24 years and never had a service call. I had this less than two weeks and need to call. I am deeply concerned about the wisdom of buying this range."

What's great about it: Great features, instantly hot. What's not so great: Touch panel burns out quickly, poor customer service
"We built a new house and bought ALL LG appliances. Even 2 refrigerators and washer/dryers! We moved in the end of May and the touch panel on our range is already burnt out. Some buttons still work, but I can't cook anything less than 500 degrees. LG customer service said the closest service shop was 3 hours away and the shop won't come that far! Customer service told me to find someone that would work on it, myself!!!! Now that I have found someone, they have to be approved before they can fix it. So, who knows how long it will take to finally cook again.
We have been happy with the products, but if something else goes bad they can take everything LG back! We will find a better company."

What's great about it: Large cooking area on top. Convection oven, and warming drawer. What's not so great: None
"This is the best electric stove top I have used. Heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Warning light as a reminder of hot stove top areas is a plus. The oven cooks evenly and leaves food moist. I did have another brand and had it taken back after several problems the first week. So I did more research on stoves and selected this model. I have had no issues with this stove. I love it!"

Life Is Bad

What's great about it: Beautiful Looking Range What's not so great: Timely replacement parts.
"This was my third LG product. But it will be my last. The time it took to get replacement boards (1 1/2 months)for my malfunctioning range is just unacceptable. The oven turns on and heats up but then it will not turn off. After resetting the breaker the oven turns off, but then the touch pad keeps lighting up and displaying messages instead of OFF being OFF this thing has a mind of its own. LG replaced all of the boards under warranty and two days later the same set of cirumstances repeated. Now I guess I will have to wait another month and a half for whatever parts it will take for this nightmare to end. Meanwhile I do not have an oven to cook with. This is supposedly their TOP OF THE LINE RANGE!"

Best Range I've Ever Used!

"I did extensive research before purchasing this range. I have not been disappointed. I cook and bake from scratch frequently. This range does everything it says it will. The convection features saves time and energy. Baked goods come out moister than traditional baking. Meats retain their natural juices well. The stove top cooks evenly and has numerous heat settings. I love the convenience of the warming drawer and the warming area on the stove top. Spills clean easily on the stove top. I also do canning and use a wok, which I cannot do on the glass stove top. However, I use the burner on my outdoor gas grill, so that hasn't been an inconvenience. If I had to do it over again, I'd buy the same range. Best Buy was great to deal with, and I plan to replace all my appliances within the next year and will get them all at Best Buy!"
