What's great about it: Looks good
What's not so great: Only lasted a year and a half.
"For the first year I owned this microwave I was pretty satisfied. I liked the looks and it appeared to work just fine. I agree with the other reviews that the task lighting was pretty dim. The exhaust fan sounds like a 747 taking off and food didn't always heat evenly. Recently the microwave burned up and I am extremely dissapointed. It's completely dead. For what I paid for this unit, it should of lasted much longer."

What's great about it: Looks
What's not so great: Installation, Loose door, rattles, ect.
"Installation took 2 hours and the screw hole in top fell into microwave so I had to bolt to top. Microwave turns on by just touching door sometimes. There is a rattle when working, and turntable does not always turn . Looks great though. It will be returned."

What's not so great: too heavy for personal installation
"I purchased this item and was very satisfied,It's level of cooking was awsome, evenly distributed heat and fast cooking time. however as with Murphy's law, anything that can go wrong did.but it was no fault of the company, or best buy. Now Im in the market for a new one 22 months later. I would advise anyone making a purchase of such to bite the bullet and include the best buy insurance just in case."

Professional Series??? NOT!

What's great about it: Capacity and it matched my other appliances
What's not so great: Stopped working after 18 months
"I recently remodeled my kitchen and chose this microwave oven because it matched my other stainless steel appliances. Originally we were very pleased with the operation, size, looks, etc. Last week one of the kids said they were heating something for a snack and heard a loud 'pop' and it stopped working. I called Frigidaire and they said it only has a one year warranty. Now I'm waiting for the appliance repair person to show up to repair a microwave that cost almost a week's take home pay and has 'Professional Series' stamped on it. I have another microwave in the basement that gets used just as much, is over 5 years old, and cost one third that this one did. I would have thought that purchasing this microwave would have given me years of worry-free operation. Apparently I was wrong!"

What's great about it: one touch settings, looks great, cooks fast
What's not so great: menu difficult to follow
"Since this replaced a 20 year old unit, anything would've been an improvement but . . . we love this microwave. First, it matches our Fridgidaire Pro stove. Its quiet and fast. Our kitchen layout prevents exhausting to the outdoors but the charcoal filter on the vent system seems to really remove smoke and odors.
Installed it easily myself.
On the downside, sensor settings seem to overheat things a bit. (how does it know?) Task lighting could be brighter. The menu system is a bit clunky. You have to wait for words to scroll across the screen.
Got a good deal. Bought online picked up in store a couple hours later."

What's not so great: Interior shelf
"This microwave is a great value, it has tons of features that usually only more expensive ones have. The best feature on this unit is the senor cooking and reheating, it works great! The only con of this unit is the interior shelf but it can be easily removed. The over the range light and exhaust fan work great. Highly recommend this product."

"I purchased this microwave after buying another Frigidaire that was cheaply made and the plastic handle broke off after 1 week. So I did an upgrade and this item seems to be better made."

"I purchased this microwave 2 years ago. I hardly ever use it. It stopped working after having an uncovered pot of boiling water on for about 1 hour. The sensor pad went out, apparently it couldnt handle all of the condensation. I was very confused about this because I would think that an over the range microwave would be able to handle condensation. It took 3 days for it to dry out and its working now.
I have an off brand microwave that I have been using now for 7 years and it is still a kickin!"

What's not so great: must remove shelf to heat up anything in a cup or dish
"I like everything about this microwave except that the shelf on the inside is not adjustable like the one that I replaced . I have to take the shelf out when I heat up coffee etc."
