"The picture resolution is stunning in 1080p if you are using
an HDTV. If you can find the HD-DVD attachment, buy it really cheap and get some cool HD movies to go with it!"

What's great about it: Graphics are amazing, DVD player never skips, doesn't overheat, and lots of games
What's not so great: Has been known to get a red ring of death (but i've never gotten them)

What's great about it: HDMI output, Online Service, and Games.
What's not so great: No built-in Wifi and buying more items.

"After purchasing this system I have to say it's being played more than my Playstation 3, why you say? Well it's the games and great online service it has than the Playstation 3 network but my only cons with this is that you have to buy separate items to make the system more appealing but if you have the money I say buy the wifi adapter, 1 year membership, and some of the great games that came out for this system. Oh yeah if you want to watch some of the Hi-Def movies that are out right now try the online service where you can rent HD movies from the Xbox Live service."

What's great about it: Has HD, lots of great games, online play, and Media Center
What's not so great: Have to pay for XBox Live.

"I really enjoy my XBox 360, wouldn't trade it for anything. I think that the XBox 360 has more game titles than the PS3 and I know that the PS3 is new. XBox has always had more game titles than Playstation. If you enjoy adventure games, this is the perfect console for you. My only problem with the XBox 360 is that it costs you to play online, whereas the PS3 you don't have to.
I have only had one problem with my XBox 360, but the XBox Support Service was quick to respond to my question and fix the console.
Overall, I would definately recommend this game system."

"Xbox 360 was the best console purchase I've ever made, and I've gone through just about all of them. As far as next gen gamin goes you can't beat it. The game catelogue is incedible, and with the xbox market polace, you can really customize your system to do whatever you want. Watch movies, tv shows, play old school arcade games, and even download new game add-ons that keep bringing you new material for your favorite games. This is a solid console, with plenty of hard drive to save all your DLC."

Best electronic purchase of my life 04/30/2008

"I purchased the Xbox 360 during its launch year. I have had no trouble with it since the purchase besides Red Ring of death (which Microsoft repaired free of charge.). I watch movies and play games online. I could play it for hours on end with its many great exclusive games such as Halo 3 and Gears of War, along with other multi-console games such as Assassin's creed and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. If you are looking to purchase one of the Next generation gaming systems. The 360 is the only way to go"

What's great about it: X-box Live, games, wireless controllers, etc

"The 360 is amazing. So many great games out for it right now, not to mention the amazing online play and graphics for this system. I personally would recommend the Elite to anyone with an HD, as the normal package does not offer full 1080p, only up to 1080i, but it still looks great!"

What's great about it: Graphics, gameplay, controllers, headset, Games
What's not so great: Over heating

"The Xbox 360 is definately a good investment if your a gamer. The graphics are phenomenal and the games are spectacular. This console come with alot of perks. You can buy wireless controllers, wireless headsets, wireless internet adapter, intercooler to keep your xbox cool if your playing for a long period of time.
I myself am partial to Xbox live where i can play my favorite games online against people all over the world. This feature come with all sorts of goodies. Customizing your welcome screen to downloading demos for new games not out yet, also classic and new arcade games from tetris to card games and mini arcades etc. I could type forever about Xbox and its online feature, but I suggest you buy the system and experience the fantastic new world of gaming."

"The Xbox 360 has the absolute best games in existance and with the best online network ever devised multiplayer gaming is easy for anyone to use. Great console, when it works 04/30/2008

What's great about it: fun to play
What's not so great: assorted failures...... alot

"I purchased one in June of 2007. It worked most of the summer always sitting in a well ventilated place. Then i got the 3 red lights, the day after i got Halo 3. That sucked, so i sent it to Microsoft, got another one (6 weeks later) and within 2 days of getting it back it was frozen again with the 3 red lights. So i called Microsoft and sent it back in got a 3rd one. This lasted a little longer until i turn it on one day and there is no video output, just fuzzy gray lines. Thankfully i bought the product replacement from best buy and got a full refund. I did buy another one but becasue of the Christmas season, they didn't have any in stock for awhile. I am currently on my 4th XBOX 360 and it has lasted since February. Hopefully it does not break. So for the first 7 months i had the console, i went through 3 of them and played it for a total of 3 months. I doubt i will ever buy another Microsoft console."

Good fun, Great price 04/30/2008

"I've had my 360 for over two years. Mine has had the three red flashing lights twice and a wireless reception hardware failure within two years. Remember the 360 has only been out for a scant 3 years, so mine is one of the earlier consoles. anytime it broke down, especially the 3 red lights, microsoft has taken care of me everytime without me having to beg. As far as gaming, its processing speed is faster than that of my brand new $1000 computer I bought at best buy and the graphics are great on my new LG plasma screen tv (that I also got from best buy). There is also a great sleugh of games to choose from. First person shooters such as Halo 3 (personal fave), call of duty 4, etc. RPG's like oblivion, Lost oddysey, and mass effect, and other great games like gta 4, rock star, guitar hero, and don't forget about xbox live.
Even though xbox live costs $50 a year, you have access to game upgrades, tv and movie dowloads, game news, tournaments, game with fame updates, and not to mention to game with people all over the world.
If you buy a 360, buy it from here at best buy, you'll find all the accessories you will need plus if you have the money, their associates will help you find a great hd tv to fit your gaming and financial needs. Please, if this review doesn't help you, coming from a young father of 2 and a die hard gamer, then I don't thik 360 is for you.......lol, just kidding, go buy one, you'll thank me later!!!!"
