"The Xbox 360 is the best console I have ever owned. You can play online with friends with Xbox Live and download new games and other media too. I also purchased the Best Buy warranty so if I have any problems I can exchange it for a new one within 2 years time."

"I use my 360 for tons of things. I love listening to music through the hard drive or with my iPod attatched while I'm playing games or just lounging around. It makes an excellent DVD player, especially if you have the remote or just a wireless controller. Xbox Live is without a doubt the best online gaming experience ever. All combined into one sleek and friendly package.
Only downside is while playing certain games the 360 decides to tell me that it can not read the disc and sends me back to the Dashboard (another nifty feature). This rarely happens, but is still annoying. Overall, a stellar product."

"he xbox 360 is the worst system ever, i used to have a xbox 360 but i just bought the ps3 it is so much better, the xbox sucks you have to buy a external HD drive witch isnt 1080p, doesnt have sixaxis controllers, bluetooth, and it doesnt get assains creed or metal gear solid.

"Xbox 360 is by far the best all around console avalible. It has the graphics we have come to expect from next gen consoles, it is user friendly so anyone can enjoy it, and it gives the best online experience you could emagine. Other great features it has over competitors is the fact that it has so many great games to go with it. It is nice to have more than just one or two good titles to go with the name. Microsoft did an amazing job on this."

Owned all 3 next gen consoles 09/14/2007

"I am an owner of all three of the next generation consoles: Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. I have to say that I am proud to own a Xbox 360 and very dissapointed in the PS3 and Wii consoles.
With the 360 you have a variety of the best games out with the best graphics/options available. IE: I was very disappointed when I decided to go ahead and purchase Madden 08 for PS3 instead of Xbox 360 and found out that EA only gave a half hearted effort in the PS3 version.
The only downfall to the Xbox system is that you have to sign up and pay for Xbox Live, unlike PS3's network which is free."

"I did a lot of research on all the new video game systems. This was the best all around console I could find. The list of game titles is dynamic and only getting better. The controller is smaller than the original Xbox and fits perfectly in to my hand. My friends and I enjoy all of the multiplayer options especially on gears of war and tiger woods. And now, with Halo 3 and Bioshock coming out, you can't lose. I think Microsoft has hit the nail on the head here. There are fun games for all ages. It is not just targeted at one particular audience. Everyone can enjoy the Xbox 360"

"I've had the Xbox 360 since Febuary 2006, and I love it. I did have to send it out to get fixed, but Microsoft got back in the same week. The system has the biggest and best selection of the 3 next-gen systems, and they look awsome. Also, the HD DVD drive for the 360 is a lot cheaper than a standalone player. I have a Wii and played a PS3, but I think that the 360 is the best out of the three."

"First of all the xbox 360 is a great product. There are so many good games for it. There is a game for everyone for everyone and there are even more games that will be out come this fall and winter. Dont listen to those people who say that 360 overheat. Microsoft has somewhat fix the heat issue so there is no need to worry. As I said this multi-media machine is great and worth the money."

"When I got the 360, I was nervous because it was around the time that you heard about all of the problems the console was having. However, I haven't had any problems with this console whatsoever and I love the fact, that through Xbox Live, you can download movies, games, shows, and music and save and play them all through your Xbox."

"This is the best next-generation system available right now. The PS3 has the horsepower right now, what with a Blu-Ray player and such, but it is a game system after all, and the quantity of games is very low, it is more expensive than any other console, and there are no truly must-have games for it yet. The Wii has a few great games right now, and more are coming out, but it has no unified online service for worldwide multiplayer games, and since it is a lot weaker than the other two the console will hace reached its high peak very soon once the develepors find out there is nothing else they can do with the system.
The 360 has the best line-up of games ever seen for this holiday release, with Halo 3, rock band, assasin's creed, burnout paradise, bioshock, call of duty 4, mass effect and many more, besides Xbox Live and a lot of other features."

"This is a great product, though it has presented few flaws. The gameplay is great, its an excellent value, the console is family friendly, and it has a good variety of accessories. The only flaws I have seen would be the price for the online gameplay ($50 for 12 months unlike the PS3, which has free online gameplay), some issues with putting a different face plates on it (besides the default one, they has been some trouble with the disc tray opening), and some connection problems with the video and audio wires that plug into the television. But besides that, I would definitely recommend this gaming system to anyone."

If only it didn't break down.... 09/13/2007

"I would give this console 5 stars. There is no console out there with more or better games right now. Xbox live is great. It's streamlined and user-friendly. A good majority of 360 games are Live-enabled so you'll definitely get your money's worth.
Downsides are that it is prone to overheating causing the dreaded "red ring of death" aka: hardware failure. However microsoft has implemented a 3 year manufacturer warranty specifically for this problem from date of purchase at no charge. The disc drive and the fan are a bit noisy and can be distracting during quiet moments in games and movies. It's definitely a poorer built console when compared to the Playstation 3 but if you're not willing to wait 2-3 years to see a return on your investment, get an Xbox 360."
