"This system had hi-def graphics and amazing features like a DVD player . It has online multiplayer features. So does the ps3 but it cost way more than the xbox 360 and the xbox has a better variety of games for kids and adultsthe system even has a cool tilt feature if your controller is connected the light pops up around the power button on the system and when you turn it up right the light move to be in the same place always. I highly recommend the xbox 360 to anyone wanting a new game system. Now more than ever you can get a better deal a 20 GB hard drive pro system for only 259.99 $$$$$$ saving a lot of money and getting more."

"I've had my xbox 360 for 9 months and never had a problem.stuff i like about xbox 360 is graphics,good design,hdmi,games like halo 3,grand theft auto 4,burnout paradise,saints row,gears of war,need for speed,call of duty,soul caliber 4 and more. Stuff I don't like about xbox 360 is red ring of death,you have to pay for online multi player,and freezes the game.I use it all the times."

What's great about it: good library
What's not so great: it burns every 3 months (but I still get a new one)

"Just picked up the new 60gb sku of the Xbox 360 and have a few things to report. My main reason for getting this was mainly due to getting the RRoD on my first 360 (which was purchased when Gears of War came out). Microsoft, of course, sent me a replacement unit in March of 2008. However, the replacement ended up sounding worse than my original. The fan was louder. The disc drive was louder. I heard all kinds of weird chirps and whirs coming out of it, which was very distracting and irritating. Needless to say, I was not pleased.

I began hearing about the new mother boards and power supplies being shipped with the newer sku's and started to get intrigued. Could Microsoft finally be solving the dreaded RRoD problem? Supposedly, the newer mother boards included a smaller, 65nm chipset that produced less heat and required the fans to spin slower (hence less noise and overheating). Many of you have probably heard of the Falcon chipset or the Jasper chipset. Well, I can't really tell which one my unit has, but I can tell you there are some improvements.

The new 60gb 360 has the 175 watt power supply. It is smaller and lighter than the original power brick. The console does run a little quieter and cooler. I would not say that it runs whisper quiet, but it's not nearly as loud as my original or replacement unit. The disc drive runs a little quieter as well. According to the label, my unit was manufactured in June of 2008, so I assume it has the Falcon chipset in it. If anyone has more information about these chipsets, please enlighten me.

It comes with an HDMI port, which I really like. I will say that after I connected the console to my TV, the image seemed a lot brighter than with component cables. I had to turn down the brightness on my TV, but it looked fine then.

The console comes preloaded with several demos, including Pac-man, Geometry Wars, and several others I can't remember. It has a full version of Hexic installed. After I transferred my game saves and gamer profile, I had about 45gb of storage left on the hard drive. Plenty of room for other demos and whatnot.

Getting it connected to Xbox Live took no time at all. Set up was straight forward and easy. I certainly hope that this sku stands the test of time (at least until the Xbox 720 comes out). So far, I like what I see."

"this item is an excellent buy. the graphics are on par with the ps3, and better than the nintendo wii. the playstation3 may have a slight advantage over the xbox 360 but when compared, side by side, you can't tell the difference. I know this because I own all three systems and have played numorus games on both the xbox 360 and ps3 that are of the same game.
It is best for you to purchase an xbox360 with a hard drive. simply because when you need to save game files you won't have to go out and buy memory cards that fill up fast. but with the hard drive, you pretty much have memory to last you forever, that is if you don't have xbox live and download games on it. I myself don't have xbox live and really don't know how much memory is used when downloading a game but I think its alot.
the game system comes with instructions to setup the game system to your tv. It even comes with instructions on how to set it up on an hdtv for superior graphics. the instructions show pictures of how to setup the game system, so that even a child of five should understand how to do it.
in this generation of systems we go wireless which makes gaming great, no more wires to keep you from getting tangled up and no more wires to keep you at a fixed distance. you can now set up to 30 feet away and relax on you couch or wherever you want to sit and enjoy playing games. the controller also now can have a rechargeable battery, so to charge it all you have to do is connect it to the system to charge it. you can even play while charging it or shut down the game system and leave it connected, and will charge over night. Butt this rechargeable battery must be purchased seperately, but well worth it. saves money on purchasing batteries every time they are used.
the sound quality if you own a home surround sound system it will blow your mind. you can hear the bullets fly buy from the direction it shows on the game. but if you don't have a surround sound system its still pretty good. the only thing is that it will sound like a regular tv.
When I purchased this game system, it played fine. I have had it since it came out. and would play it on an average about 3 to 4 hours a day and had know problems until around june of this year. I got the red ring of death. for those of you who don't know what that is, it is three red lights that stay on all the time and locks up the system and cannot be played. well I was not smart in purchasing the warrenty and had to send it in for repair at microsoft. it took about 2 and a half to 3 weeks to get it back. and now plays like brand new. but if your going to purchase the xbox360 buy the warrenty and save some time with having to deal with microsoft.
All and All I recommend buy the game system, even with the flaw of it over heating, the system is worth the money and can find just about all the games that are on the ps3 and some exclusives such as gears of war and dead or alive. trust my review and buy this system you won't be dissapointed."

"I've had my 360 for over a year now with absolutely no problems. Its the best long-term console for the price. There are lots of games for all ages and tons of accessories. Like any other piece of electronic equipment, you need to treat it appropriately if you expected it to work correctly. The 360 puts out alot of heat, so you need to have plenty of ventilation available. I purchased a $20 USB laptop chill pad to place the 360 on top of and it works awesome to keep it cool!"

"I was stubborn at first in purchasing the 360, but I am very glad that I did. I play mostly sports games, and the gameplay and graphics are phenominal. I live in a dorm and the fact that it is hard to connect to LIVE is not the fault of the manufacturing. I just need a router to connect to the network. I would strongly recommend this console to anyone who is looking into buying one. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my purchase."

"Well when i first got my 360 it was nothing but joy so that was the first 3 months then i got these 3 red lights flashing and found out it was dead. So since i got the extra warrenty i went bact to Best Buy and swapped it out not problem. Then not even a week later i get a disc read error and none of my games will work. So i go back to best buy swap it out again. Now no real serious problems just it will scratch up a disc once in a while which is anoyying but i just have to resurface them to work again. i know they have the 3 year warrenty on them now but the one a best buy was just easy so i dont regret buying it."

What's great about it: 3x3.2ghz processor, xbox live, Gears of war and Halo, tv show downloads, full games from original xbox, new game demos!
What's not so great: only a 20gig harddrive

"So here's the deal, i have always liked XBOX, i had the original and i got the 360 as soon as it came out i waited in line for 6 and a half hours to get one and it was well worth the wait, for about 200 dollars difference between this and the PlayStation 3 its so much better of a deal not to mention the xbox has the same quality of graphics as the ps3 for less money, with 3 processors running at speeds higher than just about every custom home computer out there and if that wasn't enough you can buy music, movies, arcade games, rent movies, and through xbox live you can also buy the full versions of some of your favorite games from the original xbox which means no switching out disks its saved on your hard drive and can never get scratched. the best thing is exclusive material and games like extra tracks for racing games and extra map packs for adventure games as for the exclusive games there's every bodies favorite games Gears of War and Halo: the series which is one of the best selling games ever, also for you techies out there you can also set up your xbox 360 to recognize you media center capable computer allowing you to listen to your music from your comp. as well as look at pictures from what ever folders you choose and watch all your saved videos, if you comp. has a TV tuner hooked to it then it also allows you to watch TV through your XBOX with out being hooked directly to a cable box which is very convenient if you don't have cable set up in another room or possibly even on different floors of the house all you need is the media center capable comp. and a wireless network the faster the better for streaming all that info, so here's a good few reasons why i think that you should get and the last reason is that its got the best graphics and the price is now competing with the Wii so its definitely the best deal your ever gonna get! Buy one you wont regret it!"
