What's great about it: use with any thing that has a headphones jack
What's not so great: subwoofer takes up a quite bit of space

The best computer speakers EVER!!!

What's great about it: The bass from the woofer is so good that it shakes my bedroom walls at just half volume.
What's not so great: That I DIDN"T BUY THEM EARLIER. Should have thought of that.
"These speakers are terrific and they're also WALL SHAKERS!! in a good way. Neighbors might complain, but they'll get used to it. The BASS from the woofer is RIDICULOUS. I couldn't believe my eyes. I tested the spekers at around 10 o'clock at night and the BASS was AMAZING!! I higly recommend these Logitech speakers to anyone who wants to get a better sound system for their computer. I understand that they're only 2.1 sound speakers, but this don't mean they're not good. These speakers come for a good deal, w/ great sound."

What's great about it: Bass is awsome, aswell with every thing else. sounds amazing, works with my laptop
What's not so great: longer wires would be nice, but thats a easy fix.
"Works great with my dell xps m1710 laptop. Great for movies music and games. Sounds clear, but I'm not that picky. I was going to get the Z-5500 but they wouldn't work with a laptop, So I got these. I got the Two year warrenty from Best Buy just incease, always a good idea for speaker.
If your looking for a cheap set of speakes with great bass them you found them."

What's great about it: Great bass
What's not so great: Speakers blow easily
"These speakers are great when they work BUT the satellites blew up on me within 3 months. They exhibit some crackling initially and then eventually the left one went completely. The bass is excellent. Make sure you get the 2 year replacement plan because I will guarantee the satellites will blow before then especially if you listen to music at over half the volume and have a good PC sound card."

What's great about it: Small cross-section, speakers aren't huge
What's not so great: Bulky subwoofer can double as my footrest
"I'd read a lot of review on products while upgrading my dinosaur (read: 3 year old) computer. I'd grabbed this system based on the reviews coupled with a SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity sound card to replace my SB Audigy SE that had blown an audio decoder. Now, I used to have a speaker system that looked like (but certainly didn't sound like) the Bose Lifestyle speaker system, the cube-shaped ones. It was a good speaker system that served me well over the last three years, but since I needed a new sound card, I figured I'd make the Best Buy/HHB credit card combo happy and spend a little more money on new speakers.
Oh. My. God. This setup is beautiful. While it doesn't have a treble knob on the "remote" that sits on your desktop (which I quite like, considering the old system I had required me to reach under my computer desk to adjust the volume), the bass adjustment knob coupled with the SB's audio adjustment software compensate for that and really isn't a big deal.
These speakers are a dream. I've heard things through this setup that I've never heard before in my mp3 music that I normally listen to while doing homework for my graduate courses. This is the most crisp, impressive set of computer speakers I've ever owned. The music is incredibly brilliant. I would highly recommend using these speakers combined with a Creative SB X-FI-type quality sound card or above because you can't have a good combination without both parts being equally impressive.
HIGHLY recommended."

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: cant find anything not great about them
"These 2.1 speakers just purely ROCK! awesome bass, clear and crisp highs and mids.With all of the music I have listened to through these not once have i heard anything wrong with these speakers.from classical to rap they just truly kick butt.it's a shame my Klipsch had to die for me to buy and appreciate these speakers.
Pros: Clean looks,clean sound,tight bass,awesome volume levels remote(even if it is wired) 8" sub woofer.
Cons:should have bought them sooner!"

What's great about it: Almost no time required to setup, great 2.1 speakers. Rivals 5.1 speakers.
What's not so great: Doesn't do my homework.
"When I first tested the product out at Best Buy while choosing between these speakers and another Logitech speaker setup, I was a bit disappointed that these speakers did not have 5.1 setup. I was a little reluctant to purchase these however I was not disappointed after I hooked the speaker in and the sound quality made me have a grin on my face instantly.
Easy control over sound volume, Bass, no treble but you can account for that in other ways. The bass punches and personally these are better than my current speaker setup for my car.
Great buy!!"

What's great about it: They sound too good to be true
What's not so great: none.
"These are the best speakers i have ever had. I use them for mostly music and tv and some gamming. Even on my onboad realtek ALC888S these babies kick. I like more bass then what a person would call normal and even with these i dont have to turn the bass knob past 3/4 the way without dissapointment. These things are about as loud as a $2000 bose surround sound system. If these ever break i will sure be getting them again and again."

What's great about it: Extremely small, very clean sound, great bass
What's not so great: cost sort of...
"If you are willing to spend the money and get something really nice for a laptop or desktop that actually sounds good, this is perfect. It's 200 Watts at RMS makes this loud enough for everyone on my dorm floor to hear and it is completely clean, zero sound distortion also. It hits the low bass punches in any hip hop or rap song and with the bass control you can determine how much or how little bass you want; if you are looking for something professional, small, and has great sound quality, this is it, 100%!"
