What's great about it: Amazing multiplayer mode
What's not so great: Single player "campaign" mode not long enough
"Call of Duty 4 is flat out one of the best games engineered in this decade. This game surpasses most other games in graphics, gameplay, storyline, everything. Although the single player mode is not the greatest, the game makes up for it all in the multiplayer mode, where most of the action is. The controls are great, graphics are flawless, gameplay is extremely realistic."

What's great about it: Amazing physics and relaism as well as incredible weapon handling

"This game is incredible! the realism offered with being able to shoot through walls makes this really intense... split screen is way to much fun... sniping in this game is the best i have ever played in a FPS. campaign will blow your mind. definately a winner!!!"

Great but Short

What's great about it: Excellent, well designed Campaign
What's not so great: Campaign is on the short side.
"Infinity Ward has created one of the greatest military shooters in gaming history with Call of Duty 4. The campaign is expertly-paced and filled with numerous memorable moments that should be experienced by anyone with even a passing interest in shooters. The campaign, though excellent, isn't all that long and the higher difficulty levels just make it more frustrating than anything. If you're like me and don't care for multiplayer you're not going to get much play time here. However, if multiplayer shooters are your thing you can't do much better than Call of Duty 4."

"Very addicting fast pace game play. On line play is by far the reason to buy this game. If you don't do online play this game might not be the one for you as a person can fly through the single player levels fairly quickly.
Get it, get addicted!"

What's great about it: pretty much everything about the game
What's not so great: you can't use everything in the game like tanks, trucks, helicopters
"I finally went and spent the money on the game after months of looking and debating. Most of my friends already had it and were telling me nothing but but good things. I'm very pleased with the game and would definately tell anyone who likes 1st person shooter to go and buy this game. you won't be disappointed"

What's great about it: Great Graphics, Great Missions
What's not so great: A little short, system link only works with 1 person per Xbox
"This is a great game. I enjoyed every minute of it, except it was not very long. Some effects that are extremely real.
We tried system link and it would only work with 1 person per Xbox. We could play 4 player on one Xbox, but once we system linked together it would only be one on one.
I would reccomend this game to anybody that likes a little strategy and shooting the enemy."

What's great about it: Great Game, Lots of Shooting and Action
What's not so great: Some of the Guns are Limited
"I have Call of Duty 3 and this new version is much more of a challenge, the graphics are great, the Xbox allows us to play online with others.
This and being able to interact on screen and with the other players of the game by microphone/headset is awesome! The sounds and action are great!"

"You can blow through it on easy...take it up to veteran and you'll have some trouble...Feels like one shot and your dead on veteran which is cool to a certain point, that will make the game feel longer."

"Here's a great single player, with multiple dificulties leaving you playing it over and over again. The multi-player is where this game really shines. There's about ten differnt game types, with about ten different maps. If you have an xbox 360, you must buy this game."

What's great about it: Graphics, controls, gameplay, multiplayer are all first rate. It's Like a great movie.
What's not so great: Somewhat short to finish. Only allows 1 player on LIVE.
"Absolutely gorgeous graphics! Capitalizes on CofD2, then gives you so much more to do and look at. Did I mention gorgeous graphics? Gameplay and controls are superb as well. Sometimes scares you, makes you smile and get a tear. Everyone should buy this even if you aren't a shooter fan."
