What's great about it: Great graphics, great game play
What's not so great: A couple of parts that are very difficult
"Call of Duty 4 is an excellent game. The rank system in online multiplayer is great; you can even customize your person to your playing style. The graphics and realism in single player are phenomenal. It really goes back to the mold for Call of Duty games. The third game was not really all that great, but this one is great. This is a modern game set in the now instead of WWII, but this is not a problem as I first thought it might be. Fighting through a lot of great levels that even sometimes use your camouflage to meld you into the backgrounds. There are a couple of parts that are extremely difficult. All in all I would recommend this game to anyone who likes first person shooters especially ones that are very tactical."

What's great about it: Characters, Guns, well, everything
What's not so great: When using Slo-Mo cheat, the world gets faster after u use it for a while and then turn it off. Not a huge deal
"If i could write everything that was done right in this game, it would be somehwere in the realm of 5-6 paragraphs, so for time sake, this game is an amazing contrast to it's wannabe copycats, the story is soooooooo cool and the reality of it is amazing. BTW the Slo Mo cheat makes the game 10x as fun and gives it excellent replay value. THERE WILL NEVER BE A BETTER GAME UNTIL A SEQUEL OF EQUAL CALIBER IS MADE (Unlikely)"

What's great about it: Very realistic; Great Story Mode
What's not so great: Online maps aren't great
"This is a great modern war game. It has an awesome story mode that you'll never get bored of. It is the most realistic game I have played too. The online play is great but it's maps are only so-so. A lot of them are very similar and there isn't a very wide selection either. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes shooter and war games."

"This is by far the best multi-, and single-player game I have ever played. If you like first person shooters you will love this game. The controls fit any play style, and with the onlline modes you play with people of your skill level. BEST GAME YET!!!!!!!!!"

"This is by far the best game that has come out in a long time... its so addicting you will be hooked for hours and hours i highly recommend buying it even if you have never played it. The multiplayer on live is absolutely amazing and there is no other game that is possibly as fun on live."

What's not so great: No Co-op mode, Campaign a bit short

"Great game. Like the detail of taking into account of the Coriolis Effect on a long range rifle shot. Realistic. Also enjoy the different optics but due wish that was customizable on the regular missions. But overall, very happy with the product"

"Call of Duty 4 has the best multiplayer available on the Xbox 360. I know Halo 3 is popular, but I prefer the faster pace of COD4 In addition, the single player campaign is fantastic, though a little too short. Everything about this game is near perfect, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat."

What's great about it: Tons of fun; cool weapons; nice modes; great rankup system; awsome maps; fun singleplayer campaign
What's not so great: They charge for map upgrades (most games do); Can't do campaign with a friend in co-op
"This is one of the most popular Xbox360 and PS3 games out there right now. It has won a ton of top game awards especially for its multiplayer attributes. More fun than Rainbow Six Vegas (in my opinion) and has not gotten dull after months of owning it. The singleplayer is fun and exciting, though short. If you are looking for a great FPS game that is worth the money, look no further."
