What's great about it: THE WIRELESS GUITAR, THE ONLINE PLAY
What's not so great: NEEDS BETTER SONGS!!!
"THE WIRELESS GUITAR WAS A GREAT IDEA FROM GH2 TO GH3. THE GAME IS ALOT OF FUN, BUT THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD MAKE THE GAME 100% BUYING WOULD BE BETTER SONGS, THE SONGS ON THE GAME ARE GREAT, BUT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN OTHER SONGS ON THERE THAT HAVE BETTER SOLOS, BASELINES, AND SO ON... OTHER THEN THAT THIS GAME IS TOTALLY WORTH BUYING I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME"

Pretty Good Guitar Hero Game

What's great about it: controller, story mode
What's not so great: online play, song list
"Great guitar hero game way better than 1 not as much as 2 though if you play online you better play on expert or hard, the song list is a little out dated, i would like to see some newer songs put to the list with a little better guitar solos, controller (wireless) was a pretty good advance in the game, despite what people say the controller works, no sticky keys or anything like that, Most songs are well made, i would recommend this game to anyone, might just want to be 12 or older to reach the keys."

What's great about it: Great songs to choose from
What's not so great: Gets too difficult too fast
"This is a great way to rock out at home and a blast doing it. Some songs are better than other. I wish they would put out some more downloadable tracks, but they do have a variety to get. I consider myself pretty good at this game, but the expert level is beyond me. This is much more fun when you play with someone else whether it be at home or online. Great game!!!"

Guitar hero 2 better

What's great about it: Better graphics, nice special effects
What's not so great: Song listing is mainly easier rock than the heavy metal in 2
"I was excited to get this from a friend for 10 bucks. However the game has nice graphics but the song listing is very disapointing. In GH2 you had a lot of heavier metal solos music to pick from, but when I saw weezer on the list I had to shut it off. I gave the game another chance and played through 3 1/2 songs, and not only does the listing suck but the guy who remakes the songs vocals butchered the music. GH2 had better songs worthy of Guitar Hero, and rock band which I just got is much better than both even when playing solo. All the songs I played in GH3 were poorly redone and its a shame since GH2 was done so well. And on top of all that the notes feel way off key compared to GH2. Comparing GH2 to GH3.....GH2 blows 3 out of the water with free bird alone. This game blows."

What's not so great: difficult at first
"when u first start playing the game its hard. but its worth it after a while. and u have 2 put dedication into it. otherwise it takes a while. i think rock band overall is better. i have both but the guitar for guitar hero is better. rock band has drums and singing and soon 2 be bass so i would get it asap. byt for now guitar hero is good and i like it alot. the songs are harder on guitar hero 2 and the solos r not good on rock band but w/e get ROCK BAND!"

"Guitar Hero 3 for the XBOX 360 does not fail in entertainment value. It's real easy for someone that has never played before to pick up the guitar and to start playing like a pro. The only downfall of this installment is the soundtrack is not as various as Guitar Hero 2. It still has a very high replay factor. An is definately worth the buy."

What's not so great: ....Pretty much the same as the first two
"Well, well, well. I thought that this was going to be as good, if not better, than GH2. I plugged it in and played it on Hard for about a day. I almost got to the end (instead I got to the point where it got really HARD), and when I woke up the next day, the novelty was gone. Sure, the songs are ok, and yes, those battles are entertaining (if not frustrating), but other than that, this is just Guitar Hero 2.5. The characters are the same, the graphics are still just as cheesy, and to be honest, the covers of the songs, well,...sound like cheesy covers! I am glad I got this as a gift, because I would not have bought this had I played it first. While it may be fun and challenging, I recommend saving your pennies and buying Rock Band. RB has much more depth and better songs. Heed my words and you shall not be disappointed."

What's great about it: Wicked songs, graphics, battles, and even a story is tied into part of it, instead of the little van that makes sounds.
What's not so great: Not a ONE!!!!!
"I just about broke my gutair, by rockin on this hopin game! This is a game I just can put down as soon as I start and the graphics are sweet! Expecsialy in HD. The game is the same as it was before as far as controlls but considering everything else, nothing was left unchanged. The songs were amped to the next to the level and the places you go to, and even the guitarists you battle, are soooooo sweet that you just rock the night away. Trust me, this game is something you don't want to live without playing."
