Pros: fun, guitar, good songs, challenging
Cons: alot of glitches on ps2 version
"This is by far my favorite ps2 song and Guitar Hero game. It is very fun and the songs are great. The guitar controller makes it that much more fun. The game is challenging and the songs are fun to play. Although I wouldn't buy it anymore because of the upcoming games, this is the best game for ps2."

Pros: Multiplayer, different difficulty levels, very fun and challenging, downloadable content online
Cons: some of the objectives/achievements are too hard to actually get
"Guitar Hero 3 is amazing! not only is it fun playing by yourself trying to beat the game, but you can do it with a friend in co-op mode, or you can play against a friend as well. there's a ton of songs to play, and the game actually takes more than a day or 2 to beat."

i bought this one last month and im totally happy with it
even my mom can play it XD
you dont need to know how to play a guitar, just need a little coordination with your fingers.
one thing that you must know and i think a lot of ppl think that... playing guitar hero WONT TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY A GUITAR
with that said, its an excellent game, really fun, with great difficulty and a nice selection of songs"

Pros: New layout with synched vocals, drums, and guitar with awesome multiplayer capabilities!
Cons: Graphics went to the dogs, they really dumbed it down.
"Countless classics are on this one!
Whether you like classic rock, progressive, metal, whatever, really, this game is for you!
Not too much wrong with it other than the robot-looking character physics and caveman graphics, but thats not too bad for xbox 360 and PS3.
Great game!"

Cons: Limited number of songs, makes me want to buy more guitar hero.
"Ok, so I actually bought this game for my sister with the guitar. Seemed to be a reasonable price for a birthday present. Of course, it was a lot more fun playing it with her on her Wii. I feel like the game play is excellent and the graphics are engaging. Definitely want to buy more Guitar Hero for the system."

"Boy am i a gutair hero fan!!!!!!!! I have played and own G.H 1,2, and now 3!!!!! When i played the first G.H i was amazed with how much fun it was! And then when i played G.H 2 i thought it was even better but when i played G.H 3 i was amazed with how many features it had! it was just plain old FUN!!!!!! i actully felt like i was a real rockstar performing live!!! it has real venues and a stage view and an active cheering crowd! also you can play in career mode which youve always been able to do but now you have the ability to battle another guy in career mode like slash tom morello or the devil! It was so much fun and i am waiting for G.H 4 to come out! i also own aerosmith, rock the 80s and ontour! This is by far my altime favorite interactive rock videogame that i have ever had! Thankyou hope you enjoy the game if you choose to buy it!"

"At first my kids were absolutely in love with this game. For the first week or so it's all they would do. Now it's just sitting in the corner gathering dust. It quickly loses it's initial appeal and gets to be pretty boring. Half of the songs aren't even that fun to listen to."

"This is one of the greatest games I have played. It is a game that an individual can play and have a lot of fun. Also, you can play with a partner and either go head to head against one another in a battle or play together in co-op mode. The different levels of game play allow for the beginner to jump right in with the experts. I felt very comfortable with the game within a few minutes and was rocking out with the best of them. I highly recommend this game for those wanting something to do during a party or get together. Anyone and I mean anyone can play this game and be successful while having a lot of fun."
