Pros: very uselful, has very good touch screen, good picture quality too.
Cons: battery liife varies from time to time, the screen can freeze up now and then

"i love that i can get all tyes of music and video onto my ipod without going through the hassel of dealing with a desktop, it is really easy to use. I can't leave my house without it! I can walk around and listen to it and when im driving i can hook it up to my cars radio and listen to all my favorite music as well! I would definately recomend this product to anyone who loves music."

Pros: I can store LOADS of music/media, It's Shiny and cool, touch screen, you can do just about anything
Cons: the back gets scratched up easily, battery life is a little iffy

Pros: just a great all arround product
Cons: buggy but the best out there

"features, yeah theyre amazing too! sure the iPhone has more, but this is "just" an iPod. and it has the iTunes music store! YOUTUBE! now i can just sit wherever (within wifi of course) and just watch youtube movies if i get bored of what i have. everything else thats major is all here. except for email and Google maps, which technically speaking i dont see why are not there. im sure the Touch could completely handle it. but my guess is that the business dudes at Apple guessed that yeah this is a substitute device that is going to draw a lot of demand away from the iPhone (ex: me) so lets keep some features iPhone only. so no Google Maps or email on the touch cuz they still want some people to be interested in the iPhone."

Pros: Does everything i could want, except make calls lol.

"I love this. At my college we have wireless connectivity on campus, so it lets me get online, i get direct access to my school email account, i can listen to music while on my way to class, i can store all my contacts in this as well. Basically this is the new age PDA. The new app store addition is pretty cool too.

Amazing MP3 player, thats about all that can be said about it."

"Best product that i bought for an entertainment, planning on buying those other ipods. but got this one for my decision. have read the other comments and this product, but found only 1 out of 10 review that is negative.

With the touch screen feature this device is awesome.it's like having the Iphone, but without the phone and those monthly telephone bills.

A must have for all Music lover. get this and a cool Headphones with Quality Audio Output. You can also surf the net with this one, check emails and other stuffs, but of course you need a Wireless Router. but doesn't matter with the Video/Audio/Internet/Pictures features. then you'll have nothing to worry about investing in this product."

Everything I thought it would Be 08/22/2008

Pros: multiple funcitonality, excellent ipod, touch screen, application downloads
Cons: open connection pins, purchase updated software, no compatability with microsoft office(yet)

"I purchased this gem as a replacement for a stolen Palm TX and it has yet to disappoint.

The wireless capabilities are wonderful. I find myself often using my iPod to do quick surfing instead of cranking up the ol'computer. The ability to view web pages as is instead of watered down mobile web pages is a nice feature.

The new software expands the functionality immensley. I now can access my Microsoft Exchange email, calendar, and contacts with ease. I have also downloaded multiple applications from iTunes for all aspects of my life, from weight loss to monthly budgeting.

It has stepped into its role as a PDA with no problems. With the awesome touchscreen, I don't have to worry about continually pulling out a stylus. I only wish that you could edit Microsoft Office documents on the iPod where as now you are only able to view such. But the iTunes Application underground indicates potential for upcomming editing of Microsoft Office documents.

And to top it all off, it incorporates one of the best MP3 players with multimedia functionality out there.

I would definitley recommend this to any friend."

"I got my iPod had it for 3 months then my computer wouldnt recognize my iPod because the pins were broken. Apple should have a cover for the pins."

"The Apple i-Pod Touch is an extremely powerful tool that enables to do anything on the fly. Instant web-surfing where Wi-Fi is an option and having the power of a regular iPod with Music, Video, Pictures.
The touch has been wonderful and very helpful to me in college. I'm able to keep my calender, lists of things to do and able to surf on the network at school with ease. Now with the application store, you can purchase some great games and wonderful productivity tools which I have found valuable on keeping me on task with my homework and projects due.
Anywhere you go like a grocery store, library, movies, school, you'll find a purpose to use it. Even if it's just to kill some time in a line with some games or using a list to shop for groceries.
The only cons on this is that Battery life can be a bit weak. Usually I can go 2 days before a charge. The usage I get is about 4-5 hours wi-fi in the 2 days, listening to music or just checking my applications. I suggest lowering the screen brightness to help with life. Another con is not having a camera. With new applications that help you upload pictures or edit them, a camera would be great to add to the touch.
Overall, the iTouch is a great product that is worth every penny. The battery life should not be an issue as one can learn how to extend life with limiting usage and turning the wi-fi off when you don't need to use it. If your a student and want to use something to really help you stay on task, there is a lot of applications that enables you to do that and ability to surf where an open wi-fi spot is, is priceless."

The Touch is very fun and entertaining to just surf the web with. Great application addition capability. Battery does drain easily; most likely due to I often put it on sleep mode instead of frequently turning it on or off. Overall very satisfied"

Pros: Lightweight, not small enough to lose easily, Wi-Fi connectivity, holds lots of music
Cons: gets fingerprints all over it a little too easily (so buy one of Best Buy's perfectly priced cases!)

"Very great music player if you are constantly on the go, but don't have a massive amount of favorite music. It has the perfect amount of space for me, it's great when I exercise on a treadmill, Wi-Fi lets me use Facebook on the go, instant locking feature for maximum security, good for YouTube/e-mail on the go, excellent for reminders. I really love that I can watch Family Guy on it!!! Thanks a ton Apple!"

"This ipod is so easy to use and has everything on it. It has applications that are fun and useful. The main problem I have had with this ipod is the tilt screen. Although this is a nice addition and makes it functional for the applications, it tends to get stuck when horizontal. Other than the tilt and a lower than expected battery life, this is a great accessory for anyone. The Wifi accessibility makes this product especially appealing."

"Best mp3 player out there because of it's Wifi capability. I bought this 8gb ipod touch three months ago along with around the ear Bose headphones wich is the perfect portable audio system you can have ! Personally, I recomend you replace the headphones that are supplied to experience the best sound; these apple headphones lack bass. 8gb is an abundant amount of data space for music and apps but not for video. Overall, very good touchscreen response, excellent graphics; visuals, lockable for private use, and if you loose it, the persone who finds it will not be able to access and use your ipod. <unless if there is a way to break the lock, which i don't know of> Eventhough i'ts a bit pricy, well worth what you pay for."

"I love this ipod because you can do everything with it! its amazing. You can go on the internet Talk with your friends on aim check your e-mail. Look at your pictures Listen to music. write a note 2 your self about things 2 do or anything. Get directions Where you want 2 go strating and ending locations:) Also go on itunes from your ipod and buy music. It is One of the best things i have ever bought. I LOVE ITTT! if your thinking about buying it BUY ITTT! I have the 8gb and thats enough songs and photos and videos for me:)"

"A friend of mine just bought this product and it's very fun to play around with. Im not sure how much its really worth the price though, the internet is restricted to certain areas and it is just an ipod afterall i would only recomment this product if you really have the money."
