Cons: Windows Vista Set-up nightmare
"The machine itself is stylish, reliable, with good performance and nice features and sound. The set-up with Windows Vista was a nightmare, with the Apple web site and manual being absolutely no help. According to the online forums, many many people had trouble with set up. Only solved it when an auto Windows update was installed that somehow, miraculously 'cured' the problem-we never did find out what cause the set-up error messages!
The screen is easily scratched, but other than the set up and wishing for a more durable screen or an included protective device, we like it very much!"

Cons: never really liked them anyway
"I like this little player, as it gives me a good chunk of room for more music then i care to listen to.
It is a sleek player and very nice looking and does what it does well...although I hate the bloatedware known as Itunes on Windows, and even though no one really needs to watch video on this thing, I've had a heck of a time getting some videos converted to it and working.... even of the same file type that im converting its hit and miss.
The sound is great and I'm even a fan of the stock phones they give you which give a nice deep and rich sound - which i was surprised - I had already ordered a nice pair of seinnheiser canal phones to use instead but in the end I didnt really need them."

I Love My IPod

"I used to think IPods were just for my grandchildren, but I love it and get a lot of use out of it. I not only put music on it, but also great sermons by my favorite preachers. I listen to them in the laundromat. I also have used my IPod when waiting for an appointment."

"I love this ipod. It's small, it's easy to carry and it has lots of features. The only problem with this product is trying to convert the music from your windows media player over to iTunes. Other then that it is a great product."

"I bought this item after my 3yr old daughter destroyed my original IPOP NANO! I had that one for over 2years with no problem. I LOVE the New NANO. I paid the same price for the old one and it only had 2gb of memory and it didn't come with alot of the features that this one had available, like watching videos and playing games. The screen is wider and the design overall is better than the older versions! YOu will love this IPOD whether you are replacing aN older version or a first time buyer! ENJOY"

"After having my 2nd gen nano for almost 2 years, I upgraded to the 3rd gen nano. I went from a 2gb to a 4gb for what I paid for the 2gb. Money well spent. The interface was a little confusing at first but I got comfortable real quick.
I noticed something about a radio on the menu, but I have yet to locate the feature. I like how I can buy more games for it.
Best mp3 player for the money."

"I bought a Sansa and honestly if you are looking to purchase an mp3 player and this is your very first you must purchase an Ipod. Don’t try to go the cheaper road. Some things are just worth the extra money. I learned that the alternative players don't have many accessories to choose from. I thought that I would need an 8 gig and so far the 4 gig is just fine. Song are easier to add and Itunes is so much more user friendly and the space capacity is much different. I suggest waiting and get an Ipod. You will be much happier. I use this for working out and its great."

"I really like this product. I was alittle worried about the small space but its alot more then i will ever need. I converted all the CD to it and downloaded lots of music and i parely used any space. I will be using this for a long time. Also, I got skin covers for them so if i take the cover off it still looks brand new."

Pros: Bigger Screen than the Last Nano, Smaller and Thinner
Cons: The mirror back gets Messed up very easy
"I Love my New iPod Nano! I have had it two months now. Its a bit shorter than the nano 2nd Gen. but thats a good thing! It has a nice Screen that is OK for music videos, Its not too good for Videos though , the screen is way too small for that. But it has more battery life, and the games on it are really good!
The only thing that really bothers me about the new Nano is that Mirror Back, when you even touch the back there is a fingerprint that you just can't get off! So I went and bought a Case, that solved my problem, and it protects my Screen too.
I know what I am going to buy my siblings for christmas !"

"this ipod is a great investment and i definitely think it is money well spent. there are alot of features that the ipod includes and it is easy to use. the compact size makes it easy to fit inside your pocket and there is a variety of colors to choose from. the video clarity is great depending of what type of download it is and the songs are very clear. overall i recommend this nano to everyone."

"I like the iPod Nano alot!!! The only bad thing about it is the spin wheel. Because sometimes the wheel does not spin when you leave it on to charge at the computer. I dropped my ipod in the bath tub once and guess what.... it still works!!! The durability is fantastic!!! I like th iPod alot!!!!!"

"Ever since the day I bought this, I have had a tremendous experience with it. I haven't let it go ever since I received it as a gift. The depth of the iPod Nano is just as small as the last creation. With a right sized video screen, it is perfect for people on the go. Even though the video playback is only 5 hours, it is only a high powered MP4 on such a small player. All in all, this is one of the best iPod creations to ever hit the market."

"This tiny music machine is very simple to use and it gives listening to music a whole different meaning! I have written reviews on many other things and have not written many good things on them but this system is withought question 5 star material! You might have heard bad things about this item but it is really an amazing thing. There are such things as podcasts that you may have heard of from T.V. These podcasts can be downloaded onto this Ipod to be watched later and forever! You can also download music videos to watch as you hear the music and singing! This amazing system is really worth your money and music listening time."
