I ordered this TV for the office and it was delivered promptly and in good condition. The picture quality is excellent, as is the sound.
Be warned, however, that this is a rather heavy piece of equipment and wall-mounting it is a job for a professional, or at least for people with very strong backs and good balance.

I Purchased a 2008, 52" Mitsubishi LCD TV about 5 months ago and have nothing but great praise for it (LT-52144). It has 3 or 4 (I forget which & I only use 2) HDMI inputs and can output all audio in digital coax making it very easy to integrate theater sound systems and Blue Ray disk players and satelite receivers. There is ver little heat if any generated from the screen (LCD's use very little energy), the viewing angles are superb and while watching it consumes only 340 watts. The screen has a 120 hz screen refresh rate and displays 1080p DVD's with ease. My set rests on a high mantel (5 feet above floor), therefore the sound of the set passes over the viewer's head. A sound system is a great addition. I got the Yamaha Theater in a box and it is good also (630 watts w/5 speakers).
What's great about it: Extremely clear LCD Picture & low power & low heat
What's not so great: Speakers on set could be a bit better

This is to alert unsuspecting folk who shell out large sums of money buying these large DLP or LCD Mitsubishi TVs.
The TVs are good insofar as picture quality is concerned but these TV s invariably end up having some problem or the other and do not appear to have a long life.We bought 2 of them with an extended mitsubishi warranty.Unfortunately they do not stand behind their warranty and try everything to either not address the problem or get out of it.Their customer service is awful ,wait times can be 30 mins and without resolution.Our TV is still not fixed 2 months in the shop.Please dont buy their large ticket items.Your experience may be very stressful.

I had this TV for just 3 months, and had nothing but issues with it. Stuck Pixles and no sound when tv turns on. I would stay away from this brand at all cost. I need a new LCD display in just 3 months, so STAY AWAY from Mitsubishi.
What's great about it: Thin Frame
What's not so great: Sound Quality, Picture Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

got the tv last weekend, and found it very easy to use and setup, the quality on the picture is great. I haven't watched a blue ray dvd yet, but I have watched HD channels and the picture quality is outstanding, and just like the theater.
What's great about it: easy setup, great picture quality, HD channels are awsome on this tv
What's not so great: HDMI outputs were hard to connect to

Prior DLP model has been a total pain from the onset and servicing it is a real problem. it has been on the to-be-serviced shelf for 13 months now with one delay and inability to resolve the problem after another. Just be careful.
What's great about it: $3800. Mitsubishi lasted 6 months
What's not so great: Service and response is horrendous
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is probebly one of the best LCD TV ever. 1080P is best for sports or video games.
