Can in no way criticize this unit. What a great value for the money! I don't see how anyone could complain. The sound is awesome and very easy to use. I'm an old rock 'n' roller & having worked sound for a number of big bands over the last 39 years, I know good sound. Yes, I was at the original Woodstock . . . I wish the sound there had of been this good!
What's great about it: Very small.
What's not so great: No Problems

This was my very first iPod. I got very attached to it. And I loved it, it holds as much song as I need because I don't have that much of a big collection of music. And you can charge it for a little while and it will last you through out almost the whole day. This is great for people that are always on the go.
What's great about it: you get very attached to it [ specially because of the clip ], clip, small, portable
What's not so great: no screen

I love the ipod shuffle. Especially how its easy to carry around since its so small and I like how it shuffles the songs for you.

i bought this ipod shuffel today and it took me about 10 minutes to set it up and put songs on,it also has feature that when using itunes you can change how your equilizer is to custom,i have 50 songs on it already,and the apple store has a wide varity of song to,its a really nice mp3/ipod,ill be buying the nano to when i get enough money
What's great about it: small,light,compact,dosent get in my way
What's not so great: its only one gig but i dont need that many songs

I would not recommend this product. I took me a month to download one song onto this ipod. Apple's instructions are hard to understand and their customer service is even worse. I can sync this ipod to only one computer at a time. I have access to several different computers at work and at home.
What's great about it: good price
What's not so great: hard to use, can only be used on one computer

This was great for what I got it for. Just to be able to work out without it flying everywhere, but now that it's my main ipod, it's a pain to find my songs on it.
What's great about it: Clips on, lightweight, less charge time for more playing
What's not so great: no screen

This little baby is an excellent Ipod for the price an storage for an little ipod. It perfectly fits clips your shirt or pocket. Its easy to use, the controls and bottons functions very well.
What's great about it: easy to used, 1GB

The i-pod shuffle is perfect for long-distance trips. It is also slightly more durable than it's prodessesor.
What's great about it: upgrade of previous generation.

The iPod shuffle is a great value. You get to load tons of songs, then clip it to you while you run, mow the yard, ride your bike, etc. While I do have another iPod for other uses this best suits my needs when working out as you can clip it to you and not have a tan line like you would with the iPod nano's arm band.
What's great about it: easy to use, good price, excellent use while working out
What's not so great: doesn't have a display but when you are running you don't care

Overall, this is a very good iPod. It's easy to use, the clip is very convenient when going on a walk, run, etc. The only flaw is it doesn't hold that many songs, and there is no screen, so it can get annoying having to slowly search for a certain CD or song you want to hear. Other than that, I give it an "A"

This ipod is a replacement for a Samsung YP-U3 that I bought over a year ago. It died, so I decided to try an ipod shuffle this time. I like things simple and straightforward and the ipod Shuffle fills the bill with flying colors! I'm 61 years old and not all that computer savvy, but it only took an hour to charge and set up my ipod using i-tunes with no trouble at all. My only complaint was with the included earbuds, although they sounded ok, they kept falling out of my ears when I jog or walk fast. I bought a set of sony in the ear buds for an extra $40 and together the sound quality simply blew me away!!! Crystal clear digital music with just the right amount of bass and lots of volume too. Plus I like the ipod click wheel to navigate, very ingenious and intuitive and not so sensitive that you accidentally fast forward or reverse. The built in clip actually clips firmly to your lapel or waist band and WILL NOT fall off like the Samsung with only a plastic friction clip that slips off often. I wish I bought the ipod in the first place. I am now an ipod follower and highly recommend it to anybody who works out or likes to walk and/or jog and where having no screen to see what song is playing isn't an issue.

if you like simple, "turn on and press play" things, then this is for you... people dont like it cause its screenless, but thats why you shouldve bought an ipod with one. this shuffle is great, i threw it at a brick wall approximately 50 mph, and guess what happened, nothing, just a little scratch. so if you like the radio, get this!!!
What's great about it: portability, simple, clip...toughness...PRICE...battery-12 hrs
What's not so great: nothing...no joke...

Perfect to listen to when excercising.
I used to have the ipod nano but it didnt work out for me when i worked out.
It fell out alot which scratched it up. The clip on the shuffle is great. 50 dollars is also a great deal for a 2 GB mp3. Thanks best buy :)

a lot comes out of this little thing!!! I've been using mine for years now, and every day, it never seems to fail me. I like to play with mine a lot, espcially when I wake up and am about to go to bed. I always wake up with it ready to go. I get a lot of looks while letting mine out in public, and I like it.
What's great about it: Small, tIny, easy to keep up
What's not so great: Short life, too brittle, doesn't stay up long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought two last easter one blue one for my boy one pink one for my girl.I will be the first one to tell you kids are hard on things but she takes it out once a month for an hour or so.Here it is 11 months later it wont take a charge ,out of warranty minnimum charge to look at it from apple $49.00 for a battery replacement if thats the problem plus shipping.Gee a new one is $49.00 sounds like they just want to sell another one so buyer beware!

This is a fantastic product. I had and still have the 16 gig 2nd gen Itouch. But the reason why i got the shuffle is because i was affraid of braking the touch on my Bike rides. I have droped this shuffle lots of times and it still works like a charm. Also i cant even feel it in my pocket when my riding my bike or even just siting down. This is a must have for any one who wants to work out and listen to music at the same time.
What's great about it: great price
What's not so great: a bit small

Ok, all because it doesnt have a screen doesnt mean its bad! This thing lasted me for ever. I kept it in my car and I kept using it for a month until it needed to be recharged. iTunes made it easy to set up. Holds 240 songs on 1GB. Also you should update it to fix bugs.
What's great about it: EXTRA long battery life due to no screen, great quality sound
What's not so great: No screen

I have only had this for one day so far and really like it.
The Good
Simple, small, functional, very light weight and excellent sound. I have no use for lots of fancy features several other products offer. I bought this for sound when at the gym and general purpose use. It fits the bill perfectly for me. I also liked the smaller 1G size as it is more than adequate for focusing my music to my workouts.

The shuffle headphones cord is shorter which is very nice. A longer cord gets in the way and needs to be dealt with.
The not so good:
The fit of the shuffle headphones may be an issue for some. By recommendation of the sales clerk, I bought the Skull Candy Inkd headphones to use with the shuffle. The skull candy headphones are junk . They have no bass and brightened highs. The included shuffle headphones sound pretty good to me.
