What's great about it: Portable,sound quality
What's not so great: You can't watch movies/videos
"This is a great iPod! It's very light and has a clip, so you can clip it to your belt or shirt for portability. I only have 8 songs on it so far, but it can hold a lot more than that. Very easy to download songs from iTunes. Great for general listening or just going to get the mail. The price is outstanding also. GREAT!!"

What's great about it: lightweat, GREAT price, no worries about scratching screen
What's not so great: easy to lose!
"There couldn't be an easier way to have some basic tunes while gardening, walking, or at work. Plus no worries about getting a case or scratching your screen. I was concerned that on this unit that not being able to choose the artist I was listening to would annoy me, but in the end, it's just great to use the shuffle and rotate the music on it. If you like books on tape, they work too---the only disadvantage is that you have to remember which chapter you are on.
The clip is a fantastic design---I wish Apple would put it on their other ipods.
One word of caution....this is *so* lightweight that i forgot it was on my beltloop and ran it through the wash. The good news? It still worked. I wouldn't recomment it as a wash and wear piece, though---it wasn't quite the same afterward but still amazing that it survived at all! And with that cheap of a price tag it is less depressing to have to replace than the more expensive ones."

What's great about it: music at your fingertips, can clip to almost anything when you're on the go, portable, discreet, random play.
What's not so great: No flaws!
"I think this is the best ipod made for students or people on the go. It's small and you never have to search for the next artist you want to listen to. I love that it can just play your music randomly, and freely without all the searching. It is like listening to a long cd when you get used to it you might know what song will play next in the normal play mode. I highly recommend this ipod for almost anyone, i have two myself!"

What's great about it: It's easy to operate; it holds several songs; sound quality is great; long battery life
What's not so great: ear buds hurt your ears; no screen
"I've had my shuffle for about 5 months now and love it. I like how its small and portable and can hold so much music. Many people agree that it's a good "begginer" ipod, and it is, but if you just want to listen to music in an easy and efficiant way, then this ipod is good for a lifetime. The only cons that I have are that the ear buds hurt and there's no screen. The ear buds have been hurting my ears so I recommend buying bigger earphones. About the screen, it is a bit dissapointing, but you get used to it and learn to love your shuffle just the way it is."

What's not so great: no screen but hey you know going in
"I bought this for use at the gym and while running because my ipod video was just to bulky and really did not want to buy a nano, you can not go wrong with this I just set it up to sync with only my workout playlist and go I even get more use out of it then my video, so pleased with it buying one for my girlfriend for the gym and 2 more for our kids as they are very rugid and will not be out much if one gets lost"

"I have an ipod video 30gb and it is great. The only thing is it is very big and heavy and not the best to exercise with. So then I looked at the ipod shuffle, and liked it. It has a clip and is very light and good for running. Now I use my video aroud the house for listening and wathcing and use the shuffle for exercising."

"I thick this is an amzing ipod. Thee ipod shuffle is grate. If you love to guge and raid your bike this is an ipod for you. The frist ipod I was looking at was the ipod tuch. But my mom made a comment why spend a lot of mouny on an ipod. But if you don't lison to a lot of music this is definitly an ipod."

"This is great if you don't want to spend to much money into an iPod. It's small which in cases can be good and bad. No screen which some people don't care as long as it plays music. I have an iPod Touch which I would recommend to get anyday if your willing to spend the money. Although it's horrible on memory, for its size you can't expect to much more."

"I was given this IPod for Christmas. It is the first IPod that I have. If you want to get an inexpensive gift that is well made and will last, this gift is a great idea. "I use this when I work out and it works great, long battery life and very portable. Good sound and comfortable, the only thing I like better with the regular i-pods is that you can see which songs are playing. Other than that, it's great!"

Please Don't Stop The Music

What's great about it: Great for trips, runs, or just laying around. Can fit even in your pocket! Comes in all different colors. Great sound.
What's not so great: Can't go through and pick which song you'd like to listen to. No repeat.
"I love listening to music. Even when I am sleeping. So having an IPod is wonderful. The IPod Shuffle is great because it is so small I can just fit it in my pocket or whatever and I don't have to worry about it not fitting in all the way or looking weird and in my pants. Being a girl that's wonderful for me. The sound is great and the colors are nice. I'd love to see what other colors they will come out with. I like the new style of the IPod Shuffle too! Much cooler, but I did like how you could just plug the other one into the computer without a cord. It'd be nice if there was even just a little screen on to just say what song you are listening to (and in case you'd like to flip through and just pick a song without having to go thought all of them) but they have the other IPods with that ablity, so that's good. That is why they call it an IPod Shuffle tho, cause it shuffles through songs. Although, a way to repeat a song would be nice. At least, I haven't found a way to. If you like to work out, go for runs, anything really, the IPod Shuffle is product for you. Thanks for reading!"
