What's great about it: prints fairly fast for an inkjet,scanner is decent, copier works well What's not so great: mac users make sure you have all of the drivers
"Decent AIO. I haven't tried the fax yet, but all of the other features work well for the first two weeks. If you are a mac user, make sure you got to the support site and download all of the relevant drivers or you will experience frustration. As well check out other persons' mac experiences with this device."

What's great about it: good quality pictures What's not so great: fax is not good
"The fax on this printer is poor quality it doesn't send all the pages. ADF makes a very loud crackling noise when it feeds the paper i guess that's why it jams alot. Other than that prints really good and copies good too, faster than the epson stylus cx7400."

What's great about it: Great Price for Functionatlity... What's not so great: Small Ink Cartridges (4 total @ $19 each) Pricey
"This was a great deal for an all in one printer plus fax.. When I got home and hooked it up, it kept telling me to insert ink cartridges after I had installed them properly.. So I returned it, brought the new one back home and hooked it up and still had the same problem.. Meanwhile I'm driving 30 min back and forth to the mall.. Anyways it happened to me one more time after that till I had them test it out at the store before I brought it home.. If you do decide to go with this printer, I would have it tested at the store before you bring it home, just in case you have the same problem you will save the drive.."

What's great about it: Easy setup and easy to use What's not so great: No one told me I needed USB cord (not included)
"Easy setup and works pretty good. Only problem during setup was no USB cord. Would have been nice to know I needed it before I left the store. So, if you plan on buying remember you need USB cord. Oh and paper. Comes with ink."

What's great about it: Great Print Quality What's not so great: Slow response time getting out of sleep mode
"Before purchasing this product I researched several other models. I decided on this one for the functions and the price. It did everything that I wanted plus more.
The print quality is excellent. It prints the documents rather quickly. It is easy to set up and load paper. (I do not know about pictures as I have not printed any yet.)
One of my main gripes with my previous printers was the price of ink. This printers ink is very reasonable and you can get a great buy if you buy the multi pack.
The only con that I have come across is once it is in sleep mode it takes awhile getting out of sleep mode. I personally do not have a problem with it but I thought I should mention it.
Overall, this is great printer."

"I have purchased many printers and have been disappointed with every single one of them, including Epson. Despite how much I would spend and it's touting of how fast it prints and how excellent the quality of picture prints, no printer until now has lived up to its claims. This printer is FAST in B&W AND color, prints crystal clear documents and photos, has a feeder which makes copying SO much easier and the scan functions are wonderful. The set up was easy as mentioned in other reviews and the settings are also fairly easy to navigate through. The only con I have found so far is that once it goes in to 'sleep' mode, it takes quite a long time to wake up. From the time I click print, it takes about one full minute before it actually starts the job. Otherwise, VERY HAPPY... FINALLY!"

"I have been very, very impressed with this printer. It creates beautiful photos, which is a bonus for me since my main objective was to get a printer for faxing and scanning documents to .pdf format to email, which this machine does flawlessly. I was amazed at the print and photo quality and the ink which dries immediately - no smudging ever. The software was easy to install, intuitive to use and did not bog down my computer. The auto document feeder runs flawlessly, and I have used both 20 lb. paper and 24 lb. paper through it and it handles it all without a problem. I have scanned several documents in a row and it does not slow down the scanning process due to memory issues, and it is very, very fast. There are some neat extra photo-related features, such as one-touch photo restoration, and things of that nature. The scanning software allows you to scan documents directly to pdf format, and there is a program they include that lets you scan into Word (among others) and then you can actually edit the document, which is very helpful. The real strength of this machine is that it truly does all of the all-in-one features quickly, precisely, and with beautiful results. Installation was easy, and took only about 10-15 minutes (and I am slow at these things), and that included software installation. Don't forget to disconnect your anti-virus program before you install software. Also, the first few prints and/or photos did not look good enough until we got the ink and the print head working a bit. I also ran the "clean nozzle" maintenance function to get the ink flowing. After those first few prints, the rest have been awesome. I have not had an Epson printer since the dot matrix days, although I have had other manufacturer's inkjets over the years. This is by far the best printer I have ever owned. We were so impressed, we bought an Epson rx595 for our daughter (mainly for photos) and we were blown away by that one too. Great products!"

What's great about it: Many useful features What's not so great: Poor print quality
"I was happy to get the printer installed. It scans well and looks sharp. However, the print quality is terrible when compared to my previous printer, an HP Photosmart 7150. I have just printed text documents from MS Word and Adobe Acrobat. I'm positive the EPSON CX9400Fax is setup and configured properly (Text mode is selected and High Speed and Quite Mode are disabled, Print Heads have been Aligned) and the text is simply not sharp. My older HP is crystal clear using just the "Normal" setting (as opposed to "Best") and I've had it for 3+ years. I'm returning the EPSON and going to try a Mulitfunction HP in this same price range."

"I've been researching for a all-in-one printer w/ fax & LCD. After browsing many review sites and comparing features and prices, I almost ended up buying HP Photosmart C6180 at $270. The only noticeable difference between these 2 printers are that the HP c6180 has an Ethernet port & Wi-Fi which can be very convenient but for the price of $120, I think I can live without it. Can't wait 'til BestBuy gets them in stock!"

"After looking at Best Buy I went online to see what else they had in printers. I have always liked the Epsons in general ( Photos are great) but I saw this model and I can't wait until it comes out. It has a fax a feeder and it uses the dura brite ink. If it does half of what I read I am going to suggest that the office convert over to these for everyones desk. Way to go Best Buy and Epson"
