Loved playing the game on Game Cube, and really love Mario Party 8 for the Wii at parties. This game rocks because you can wireless link with 3 other players and play together, but it is still fun to play alone when you are stuck in an airport or just can't sleep.
What's great about it: Can play with up to 4 people and only have 1 cartridge... Its fun to play alone when you can't sleep too
What's not so great: It is similar to Mario Party 8 for the Wii
I would recommend this to a friend!

First, I do not promote shoot'em, gun type of games, nor do the children play with those. This is a great, simple game with lots of colors, mini games, competitive situations without the violence. You can be many different characters, play many different games, while earning badges, points and having fun. The game requires use of stylis, buttons and microphone. We received 1 for the holidays and I had to go buy another 1 cause the 6 & 7 year old were fighting over it. If they like any of the Mario games, then they will like this one too. Thought it was a great gift and a good buy. They download with their friends at school too.
What's great about it: Fun, entertaining, many options, tons of mini games, kids have hours and hours of play
What's not so great: Repeat the same story - but with different characters
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thought this was a great buy on my part. I really enjoy playing it in my spare time. If you've ever played a Mario party game before you'll really enjoy this one!!!

a very fun game to play to pass by time or if your bored... but be warned that if u play it too much, u get the use out of the game somewhat boring and repetitive unless your playing with other people than the computer characters...
What's great about it: fun to play, multiplayer fun for the family
What's not so great: once youve played everything, it gets boring...

Pretty good game. i bought it for my brothers birthday, and he still loves it. Has a lot of good minigames. The only downside is that it is too easy.

This is a fun game for kids and adults, it is played on a colorful game board, and you will have many types of mini games you have to play. All the mini games are pretty easy, most of them you will probably win, when you play against the game. You also collect stars and coins while you are playing this game...
It great b/c you don't have to have someone to play with you, it can be whatever character you choose to be and whatever character you choose to play against.

Mario Party DS is a fun, if somewhat predictable, game that doesn't stray very far at all from its tried and true tradition of innovative and color game boards and fun mini games. The only thing this version lacks is online multiplayer, which really would have sent this game out of the park. However, its still a lot of fun for people of all ages.

if you are not familiar with mario party games it is basically set up like a board game where you have to navigate and collect the stars they place on the board. the game is fun and does have some neat powerups to keep the game interesting. the game features a few different themed boards to keep the game going for a while without getting boring.
you can play with or without other people which is also nice as well. if you are a fan of mario party, or would be interested in a "board" type game, this is worth picking up.

This game is really fun. I've had it for over a year now and I still haven't beaten it 100%. There are 3 types of minigames: ones that use the stylus, control pad and buttons, and the microphone. The game boards are really fun and you can play with up to 4 people on multiplayer ( DS Download ). If you want a pretty challenging game that's rated E, this is it. Hopefully Nintendo will make Mario Party DSi for the Nintendo DSi.
What's great about it: Lots of minigames, good graphics, fun to play

This game is crazy good!! The game never ends. Multi-player is really fun, u can play with 2-4 people and they don't need to have the game. There r many features. The board games r wut u should play if u hav a lot of time on ur hands. The minigames r wut u should play when u dont feel like sitting for an hour and playing on the board games. there are 'puzzle' kind games. Really cool game, cool features, worth $30.
What's great about it: multi player, the game never ends!

Mario Party is a fun game to play on trips, especially when there is someone else with a Nintendo DS. But after you reach the end, and unlock all the minigames, the game starts to become tedious. I enjoyed the game very much when I bought it, and my 18-year-old sister enjoyed it, too! So this game does a good job of keeping you entertained, but you might be able to defeat it too easily. Also, when you choose the difficulties for the COM players, it is always hard to pick. Expert means that you will be beaten by extremely good COMs, but then Easy means that you will beat them without trying! That isn't a good format.
What's great about it: Keeps you entertained for awhile, fun with friends.
What's not so great: Becomes boring after beating the game once, the COM difficuties are confusing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My kids love playing with this game. It allows for multiple players. We have all the Mario Party games and this is portable when we go out of town.

I got this game about a week ago, and I adore it! It's so addicting and fun, and it's hard to put down. At times, though when you don't have anyone to play with, it's a little boring, but playing mini games is fun. The more points you earn, the more things you unlock! It keeps you going forever!
What's great about it: it keeps you playing for hours and hours! It's really addicting
What's not so great: it's not fun playing alone, fun with more than one person

This game was tons of fun when I first got it. Though after I beat the game, it got boring. I haven't played it in a while.
What's great about it: Its fun to play, that graphics are good, it keeps you occupied.
