What's great about it: Keeps you entertained for awhile, fun with friends. What's not so great: Becomes boring after beating the game once, the COM difficuties are confusing.
"Mario Party is a fun game to play on trips, especially when there is someone else with a Nintendo DS. But after you reach the end, and unlock all the minigames, the game starts to become tedious. I enjoyed the game very much when I bought it, and my 18-year-old sister enjoyed it, too! So this game does a good job of keeping you entertained, but you might be able to defeat it too easily. Also, when you choose the difficulties for the COM players, it is always hard to pick. Expert means that you will be beaten by extremely good COMs, but then Easy means that you will beat them without trying! That isn't a good format."

"This is a very fun Nintendo DS game. My favorite feature is the online local multiplayer. You can play a board game on your DS game with someone who is close to you. "I got this game on sale for my white Nintendo ds. There are 10 characters to choose from, all who are recognizable from the older versions. The storyline is interesting. You go around as you choice of character and gather sky crystals. There is a bundle of mini-games and a total of five different boards. In story mode you face five different bosses. If that is not enough there is a puzzle mode with fun arcade puzzles. Also if you want to play with other friends with other ds systems you can, all you need is one game cartridge."

"I absolutly LOVE this game! It is sooo much fun - and it is perfect for any skill level! You chose your charecter and start playing on a giant board game against 3 other computer-controled players. There are several levels (which are other game boards) and you must beat them in order to get to the very end boss - bowser.
As you play, depending on what square you and the other players land on, you get to play a TON of mini games! You earn coins and there are shops you can visit to buy special items!
And for even more fun, you win trophys and badges. There is also another set of games (like mini games) you can play. My fav. is the tetris-style game - SOOOO FUN!
If your a fan of Mario games - like me! - you HAVE to get this game! It is sooo awesome! I totally recommend it! A++++"

"If you have any type of gaming system, a Mario game can never go wrong. It's just guaranteed family/friend fun. Now, for Mario Party games specifically, I never actually owned one until I got this one (so I don't know all the games through and through), but I have played them countless times from others' systems...and this one is just as fun.
It's a great multi-player game too. If you are considering getting this game, chances are, you've played an earlier Mario Party so you know what to expect. The mini games are fun, and many times use the stylus. Certain games can be a bit tricky, but with time, should be fine."

What's great about it: They have new game boards. What's not so great: They shouldn't have used the stylus in the mini games.
"I think they should have left the stylus out or make you do something other than spin the stylus round and round clockwise to see who can see who can throw their cherry the farthest! Most of the stylus games motions are back and forth or making circles.There are a couple games where you don't make those motions."
