"The PSP Slim is an outstanding product itself. You can play music, movies, photos, and games all in a small portable device that fits in your pocket. The Daxter game is a lot of fun and the Family Guy UMD is hilarious. This pack also comes with a 1GB memory stick which is enough space space to save your games and put your photos,music and videos. I got this pack and I guarantee you'll have a lot of fun with the Silver PSP bundle pack. Trust me I'm a hardcore gamer and I'm glad I bought this product."

"The PSP is a great portable gaming system with multimedia capabilities. It can play movies, music, stream video and radio, and surf the web via wi-fi.
I use it 99% of the time as a gaming system for when I go on vacation. It is a great entertainment device for this purpose. It has many mainstream games and if you are familiar with the Playstation/PS2/PS3 titles available, you will feel right at home with the PSP.
Overall this is a great system that is less kid-oriented like the Gameboy series of devices. It is a precision piece of hardware with an exposed glass screen. Teens and Adults alike will find the games availale for it to be challenging and fun."

What's great about it: It has a free memory card, 1 game, 1 movie, and it is a PSP slilm. What's not so great: The game that it includes is pretty boring.
"This PSP has many new features compared to the older version. This kind of PSP is considered the PSP slim. It can be hooked up to your television through a component cable (sold seperately), it is 30% lighter than the original PSP, seems to be a bit brighter, and it has a very unique color. I also seems to load my games faster than my regular PSP, so this PSP slim is great. The game is pretty much boring; all you do is wack bugs with a fly swatter and the same combo of attack is repeatedly used. The change of weapon in the game is pretty much the same style as the first one. When you beat the game, it pretty much ends there. There will practically be nothing to do at the end. The family guy video has the first five episodes such as "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein", "Road to Rhode Island", "To Love and Die In Dixie", "I am Peter, Hear Me Roar", and "Leathal Weapons". These episodes are OK, but they are mainly reruns in television. It also doesn't contain any speacial features, so they are just plain episodes. I guess if you are new to Family Guy, then these videos will be fun for you to watch. The memory card, which is the savior of all games, movies, music, picture, and downloads from the Internet. This memory card can save up to 1 gigabyte, well, thats a lot of space. Also, when you upgrade your PSP through {Settings; Network Update}, you will be able to save a program that will let you play Internet Radio on you PSP ( music can only be heard, not downloaded)."

What's great about it: The psp has a good wifi conection that I really enyoy and the quality of the gaming system is outstanding What's not so great: The cons is that the internet is a bit slow but is still works really good
"The Psp daxter pack is a very intertaining package because it comes with a family guy movie, and a daxter game that is very injoyable. The psp is very functional and intertaining. If you get bored often then I would reccomend this system because it will accommodate you in any way from listining to your favorite music to watching your favorite videos. The Wifi on the psp is very good actually and you would definetly have a good time surffing the web. When I bought the daxter package I new I could really have fun with it because it is a very reliable product."

Great Father's Day Gift

"My husband, a kid at heart, wouldn't tell me what he wanted for Father's Day this year. My girls have a Nintendo DS and he plays games on it occasionally so I thought I'd take a risk get him a PSP. He opened it and said, "oh, what am I suppose to do with this". He quickly learned. We gave him MLB 08, the Show to go with it. The next day we left for vacation. He spent the entire week at the beach, sitting under an umbrella playing his PSP, and he doesn't share. We got him Hot Shots Golf and World Series of Poker last week for his birthday and I have to make him put down the PSP and spend time with me. Needless to say, I scored well with my gift and my big kid of a husband loves it."

"The PSP-Slim is a great portable gaming console with respectable multimedia features. GAMING: First and foremost, this is a gaming console. The games provide home-console (PS2-like) gaming on to go. They look visually stunning on the widescreen display (a screen protector or a case is a must if you would like to prevent scratches from accumulating on the display). Contrary to popular belief, there are games suitable for individuals of all ages and across various genres (ie. Lumines II or Puzzle Quest for puzzle-lovers, MLB: The Show or Madden for sports fanatics, Daxter (included in package) for Platformers, etc.). There are too many to list in this review. MULTIMEDIA CAPABILITIES: Although the system is capable of just about any feature you can imagine (music, videos, internet browsing, internet radio, skype-phone access), there are limitations to consider. I carry a 30-GB iPod to hold my music/video library. The included 1-GB memory stick will be sufficient to hold your favorite songs, a short video or two, and free game demos downloaded from the online Playstation Store (another great feature - along with the ability to purchase and download certain full games to your PSP from the website). If you would like the capacity to hold a decent amount of music, videos, and games, I would recommend purchasing a 4-GB or 8-GB memory stick. The PSP will not replace your current mp3 player/iPod if you want to carry around a large library of music and videos. FINAL THOUGHTS: Although improvements can certainly be made to the system, I believe one of the most exciting aspects of the PSP is its versatility. With all that it is currently capable of, there is much more to look forward to - such as the GPS add-on, which should be available by early next year."

"I have a PS3 and a PSP. They are great together.
The PSP has some fun games, you can play music watch videos.
I always take it with me when I travel. This set has a game, memory card and Family Guy UMD with it. Overall it's a great set to get.
The slim is really different too since you can buy cables to hook it up to your TV.
Crisis Core and Dracula X Chronicles are two fun games, I love them."

"Okay I will break this down into several categorys for the psp every thing else will have what it is as a title and a reveiw for that product. PSP-design the PSP is great the only con here is the fact that it does not have R2 or L2 buttons (which we can do without) and no second analog nub, but think the original psONE did not even have analouge. every thing is close and its light weghit! PSP-graphics perfect like I said in the title A Portable PS2 thats exactly what it looks like PSP-durability Just fine I have had one for a while have dropped it occaisionally but all it did was turn off but if you drop it on like concrete, your bummed. PSP-Overall perfect(just about) Game-Daxter Story is not the best but it is great considering that the platforming genre ins droping like flies Daxter kind of gives you the feeling that you are playing Jak and Daxter on the PS2 but without Jak. Graphics are great same with presentation just amazing but a bit on the easy-medium diffuclty. Movie-Family Guy Funny and hilarious but stuff after the forth season is not in there if was made later it would include other stuff. but still its Family Guy!!! Memory card 1 gig for free great the only thing is that this is good for games and very little misic photos and try not to have videos, they take up to much room if you want to watch youtube you need at least a 4 gig."

"I HAD THE ORIGINAL PSP BUT THIS ONE IS BY FAR BETTER. IT LOADS FASTER AND YOUR ABLE TO PLAY GAMES AND WATCH VIDEOS ON THE BIG SCREEN. I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE COMPARE THIS TO THE DS THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS. I OWN A DS ALSO AND I AM PLANNING ON BUYING THE DS LITE SOON. JUST TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND 99.9% SAY THAT THE DS IS BETTER BUT THATS NO REASON TO GIVE THE PSP BAD RATINGS."

"I am a long time fan of sony products and i wanted a PSP i was going to buy the origanal but when i saw this i instantly bought it and it was one of the best buys i have ever made. The game titals are great and would be familiar to any one who as ever played a PS2 or a PS3 like SOCOM,GTA,Need for Speed,the Tony Hawk series. The only con i can think of is that it dident come with a car charger other than that i can think of any thing else that is bad."

"I never write reviews, but if I write one I make sure is helpful. Here are the pros and cons in detail about the PSP: PROS: 1. Play amazing games like God of War, GTA, Daxter, SOCOM, Prince of Persia, 300 with unbeliavable and realistic graphics. New games $20-$40, Used games $5-$35. 2. Listen to music. Ok, this is not as user friendly as the iPod, but I have more than 100 songs in my 1GB memory card, I have game profiles recorded, pics and videos, and I still have space! You can transfer MP3s directly from computer files to PSP through usb/fire-wire. No need for manager software. You can plug PSP to an AUX speaker in your stereo or car and listen loud! 3. Watch movies. Dont have any movies yet, but there is a good library out there that I can buy. There is also a way to put movies compressed in memory cards but have not figure it out. Also, you can connect PSP to TV and watch a UMD movie on your TV or play a game. Need to buy the cable for $20. 4. Surf the internet. Some websites are slow and not very user friendly, but I can check my email and most websites I go to are very good. You need wireless router connected to your modem. 5. Look at pictures. I can load pics in my memory camera and use them as background. Also I can listen to music while looking at pics. 6. Listen to internet radio. New upgrade adds the internet radio feature which is pretty neat but you obviously need internet. 7. Watch TV. I am planning to buy Locationfree Base Station ($200) and connected to my satellite so I can watch TV on my PSP! You can watch from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet wireless connection. 8. Make internet phone calls through Skype! The other day I was able to call and talk to my brother who lives in Bogota, Colombia, South America! I live in Chicago, IL. Connection was great and I was able to walk around with my PSP while talking to him. You do need to buy new PSP Skype headset available for $30. You can call computers from Skype to Skype for free. Or you can buy Skype credit to be able to call phones. 9. Connects to PS3 like a wireless remote. You can access PS3 hard drive wirelessly with PSP. CONS: 1. Cannot listen to music while surfing the net. It would be very cool to be able to listen to your tunes and surf the net. I hope they fix this problem. Or listen to music while playing a game. 2. PSP design is not very comfortable if you play for long hours. They should redesign with a confortable grip for hands. I know they are trying to make it thin and light, but it is not very confortable. 3. Movies are still a little too expensive. They should make them more affordable so that people will buy them. 4. Need better game library. I heard DS Lite is leading the way with games. PSP is a great device, Sony should really go after game libary. 5. Watching movies and playing games from PSP to TV only works on my 46" LCD rear projection. It doesnt work on my 27" Tube. I think this only works with wide screen HDTVs for some reason and not on old TVs. BOTTOM LINE: If you love the PS1, PS2 and are planning to buy PS3, you definately need the PSP. This device is very cool because it does everything! DS Lite only plays games, but PSP is like a mini laptop! For $170 you are getting a lot of features! PSP is a must!"

"I got it as a x-mas gift from my brother, and ever since I cant live with out it.Its light weight, so I take it on long trips, and never get bored of it. I have my music, plus movies, and the games that the psp has are awsome. This pack, has every thing you need to start of with. The only thing you should go out and buy from the begining is a screen cover, and a case for it. And if your a gamming freak like me, the 1GB memory card may not be enough after a while."

What's great about it: Great number of features for the cost in comparison to nintendo DS, noticable difference in comparison to older edition What's not so great: the proportion between unit size and screen size is great, but it's bulky to put in your pocket, screen scratches easily
"I have this and a nintendo DS and like the variety of features on this one more. The DS seems better only in RPG selection and how smooth the games play. The psp has much better potential for portable entertainment since you can store movies, music, pictures and more on a memory stick.
In addition to this, you can easily upgrade the memory capacity by using multiple memory sticks and with recent price drops make it a very practical choice. The new slim psp model has noticeable improvements over the original psp model and in my opinion I think was worth the repurchase. The loading is faster (about 2x faster which made it already worth it), and it's lighter. The playstation 3 also has games you can download for this.
The biggest downsides are that the screen scratches and gets smeared easily which makes putting on a screen protector almost a must. It can be hard to see when outside if you get a glare from the sun. UMD movie selection is very poor. You should get the product replacement plan since a simple careless mistake can brick these (cause it to be inoperable and in words a paper weight).
I would definitely recommend this if you do not need the smaller size of the DS to fit in your pocket, would like the best bang for your buck on bells and whistles and are not a small child (since small kids drop things often and can be careless since the casing is somewhat delicate)."
