What's great about it: Lots of inputs, price for the size
What's not so great: Picture quality was fuzzy
"My brother in law bought this television on Black Friday and returned it the next day. Went to his house to hook it up and the picture quality was horrible on anything that wasn't HD. If I would have known that he was going to buy any Sharp I would have told him not to get it to begin with. He returned the TV the next day and bought the Samsung 580. It was a couple hundred more dollars but was worth it."

What's great about it: Excellent menu, easy to use remote.
What's not so great: Picture & Sound.
"Purchased this tv with high expectations and was very dissapointed. Returned it after Sharp sent someone to re-adjust the picture. Flesh tones were awful and there was a problem with red bleed out. Sound also left a lot to be desired. Sounded really cheap. My 14 yr. old tv has it all over this one."

What's great about it: Great picture, good analog picture
What's not so great: Heavy
"This is my first LCD flat screen and I love it. The picture is awesome especially in HD! I can not attest for sound quality because mine is hooked up through my receiver to my 5.1 surround. I love watching bluRay movies and wondering how I ever lived before Aquos and 1080p. My only dislike is I hung mine on the wall, about 6 ft off the ground, and it is fairly heavy and awkward. I would recommend using 2-3 people for this, if you are doing wall-mount."

What's great about it: clear and vivid colors, excellent picture quality
What's not so great: Prefer more HDMI ports
"We looked at many different TVs for our media room and the Sharp 52” Aquos 1080p flat Panel proved to be the best value overall. The picture is excellent as well as the colors. We've not had any issues with this TV and absolutely love it. I do wish there were more HDMI ports as I run many external devices, most of which are HDMI. However, I purchased an HDMI extender to extend the HDMI ports on the TV and that did the trick. Bottom line is that this TV was an excellent purchase for us and has proved to be perfect for the media room."

What's great about it: Sound/Ease to set-up/Blu-Ray Picture
What's not so great: Fair picture on HDTV and SD up-convert DVD
"I bought this LCD to shift away from plasma. Was I disappointed. The color, the overall picture. I feel like I am in the movie when I watch my plasma. I feel like I am watching an average tv when I watch this LCD. The Blu-Ray picture is definitely nice but not great, up-converts are better on my 720p 50inch plasma. It is not a bad TV, just not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

"I HAD THIS T.V. ONE MONTH AND THE T.V. GOT HORIZANTAL BLACK LINES ON IT, SO I TOOK IT BACK. BEST BUY WAS GREAT BUT SHARP DID NOTHING TO HELP WITH THEIR PRODUCT!!!!"

What's great about it: great HD, sound, features, SD is also clear
What's not so great: takes about 9 or 10 seconds to turn on
"Sharp is easily one of the best brands out there! This tv shows it. It has outstanding HD and blu-ray, and sound is great! It also includes very useful HDMI slots to make it look even better. Regular DVD's look good, and HD and Blu-ray look superb. You won't have any regrets at all, great tv!"

What's great about it: Great picture, synthesized surround sound through internal speakers, and a lot of features to play with
What's not so great: No computer input any longer
"This TV is great. I got it about a year ago and still love it to this day. It is easy to hookup other units to it. I have an Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, HD DVR through, an HD DVD player, and a surround sound system. Everything hooks up with ease and it is easy to change from one unit to the other by just switching the inputs. Each input has its own separate sound level, so if your cable seems to be lower normally then your DVD player you can keep it on a higher volume. There is a synthesized surround option which does sound very good, but I still recommend a surround sound system for a true experience. There are a lot of different options to make your viewing experience even better. I would like to say it is a good idea to go through all of these options and set the color and the noise reduction and so on to fit your needs. You will have a much better experience then if you simply "plug and play". I am very happy with my TV and the Sharp AQUOS is much cheaper then a lot of other brands its size, but you don't lose anything in the quality for the price difference."

"We love this TV./ Sharp is a manufacturer we trust. Both our other TVs we have retired are still running well at our grandchildren's house. The picture is sharp, the colors are great The warranty was good and Sharp has it's own website and support for it's buyers."

What's great about it: nice picture quality, 120 hz frame ratio conversion, good sound
What's not so great: has only 3hdmi outputs
"I have had this since x-mas 2007 and love it. Have had no trouble with it. Works well with Directv and a surround sound, but also sounds good without it. It has the 1080P. You just have to sit back from it like with any other large tv."

"There's no way I can convey to you how incredible this TV is.
You have to see it in your own living room.
We bought it a year ago and LOVE IT.
Movies, Football, Basketball, Game Shows... you name it... They all look incredible on this super-bright 52-inch LCD screen.
My dad was looking to get the 52-Inch Bravia and when I told him how great our Aquos was, he went to Best Buy and got himself the Sharp as well - saving over $1,500.
If you're looking for the best combination of price and picture, the Sharp Aquos is it.
I can't rave about it enough. 5 STARS!"

What's great about it: Clear, rich colors. Great price.
What's not so great: Sound is not the greatest.
"I heard from a co-worker how great the picture was on the SHARP Aquos. I have had it for a week now and love it! The colors are vibrant yet realistic, and the blacks are deep as any plasma. No motion blur as described with some LCD's even during fast paced Wimbeldon tennis match and Olympic trials. Was easy to set up with HD DVR satellite receiver, Blue Ray DVD and Nintendo Wii console. The only negative is inconsistent sound quality from DVD to satellite TV. I am now shopping for external speakers. The price is the lowest I've seen for any 52" LCD. This is by far the best LCD TV value."

"This tv is awesome!!! great color, bright, 3 HDMI, and outstanding HD and blu-ray. Another great thing is that this LCD consumes alot less heat than plasmas. To top it all off, the sound is extrodinary! So before you think of getting a different tv, make sure it has all the features Sharp has!"

"I used to have a 32" dynex lcd tv but i decided to upgrade to this Sharp Aquos and boy am i glad i did it looks so good in my room. Hooked it up to my rabit ears and the digital channels look amazing and i got all of this for $1,999.99. It was a great investment."

"The best "old", proven-technologies pioneered by Sharp
and now vailable at the best of "todays" value for true black, vivid colours, and just great video. No signs of banding reported earlier by several users, none in fact, that can be decerned by my naked-eye. One can purchase a differently-badged 52" 1080p LCD HDTV, but expect to pay many hundreds more...for the same or lesser preformance...as conpared to this specific product today......Moore's Law is still alive and working!"

What's great about it: Great Quality Picture, Lots of Inputs
What's not so great: Slow startup time
"This Tv has great picture quality. The number of inputs allows you to connect many peripheral devices. I can watch this tv while nearly standing beside it. The viewing angle is unreal. The anti glare screen also allows me to have the blinds open on our bay window and enjoy the outside while watching our favorite shows. I would definitely recommend this product."
