What's great about it: Love the size of the Dryer
What's not so great: Steam Fresh is not what its hyped up to be.

"We bought this dryer several weeks ago and for the most part I'm satisfied with it. The Steam Dry is not what I was sold on originaly at the store. Leaves clothes pretty damp. It is very quiet and dries clothes pretty good on every other sycle that I tried. I like that I'm able to adjust drying time and also in senses when the clothes are dry and shuts off. Overall drying time is a lot less than the dryer I used to have. Unlike some of the other customers think this dryer is NOT ENERGY STAR Dryer."

What's great about it: Easy to use, Good Range of Features, Steam is great for Dry Cleaning
What's not so great: Some dry cycles don't get clothes totally dry

"I purchased this Steam dryer in combination with the regular, non-steam washer a couple months ago. I was impressed with the steam feature the first couple times I used it, but soon realized that, while it does save me money on my dry cleaning, it isn't always as efficient. The dryer often times does not dry the clothes completely. There have been many times when I used a pre-set function and went to check my clothes when the timer went off only to find that they were not dry yet. the moisture sensor is a little off the mark, but the speed dry feature is great for that last little bit of dry time."

"I purchased the dryer last night and it was delivered the next day. I am amazed at how it works and also enjoy the steam dryer feature.

I also like that it is energy saver product."

Exceeded Expectations! 01/23/2008

What's great about it: Steam built in-no extra hose needed!
What's not so great: expensive but worth it!

"Love this machine! I bought this to replace my Maytag Neptune which was top of the line back in 2000. WOW this machine exceeds all my expectations. It is So Very Quiet! I also own the LG TROMM STEAM Washer WM2487HWM which is the slightly older model washer which may explain why there is just a slight difference in the white color..actually hardly noticeable and doesn't bother me but may someone else. I was unable to get the exact dryer match as BestBuy was clearancing the DLE7177WM dryers out and I did not move fast enough to get it at my local store. So, I upgraded to this new model dryer which includes the STEAM option without the need of an additional water hose hook-up. I am very pleased with the performance and style of this machine. LG is very good quality and I must say it is so fun to do laundry now!"
