this game is horrible and has outdated graphics and the story makes no sense what so ever and has far too easy end game content..
this game is definitely not worth $15 per month...

I recommend Star Wars the old republic over this..
Star Wars actually has a story you get involved in that actually makes sense..

I had heard about World of Warcraft a couple of years ago, but didn't have a good enough gaming laptop to run it at the time, so I couldn't get it. But this last summer I got a very good gaming laptop of my own, so I asked for the World of Warcraft Battle Chest for Christmas. I started the Free Trial about a week before Christmas, and it was love at first play. I had been looking for a fun, online fantasy game to play for a long time, and I had finally found it. And then when I actually got the Battle Chest for Christmas, the fun expanded greatly. It will give you hours of endless gameplay, for that's what WoW is, an endless video game! Just over the course of about 3 and a half weeks, I have already made a level 42 Human Warlock.
WARNING: What people say about it being addicting is true. I've had a lot of time to play it lately only because I've been off of school for a week and a half, and I've probably been playing it 5-6 hours a day. Now that school is starting up again the day after tomorrow, I will have to severely limit my game time, as you will easily find yourself playing the game for 6 hours at a time when you only planned on playing it for an hour. Regardless of that, I think that World of Warcraft is truly a piece of art in the video game world, and is a must have for any gamer out there.

My buddy has been trying to get me to jump on this bandwagon for a while now. During the Black Friday deals, the battle chest was $9.99. I really couldn't go wrong. This game is great for people that love to grind and play with swords and magic. Definite fun game, especially when you team up with a buddy or two. Warning: Might cause marital problems and breakups. lol
Overall, fun experience that you will devote countless time to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not that challenging except in PvP per all the people that have played for 1000's of hours already. If your group sucks in dungeons, that is a detriment as well. Long level grind with all expansions plus raids at max level make for many hours of gameplay. Graphics are imaginative and colorful but extremely low poly and need to be updated. Sound is excellent, could use more sounds in both music and sound effects. Expansions added some music but needs more. Funnest MMO IMO but like all MMOs, is a grind to get your levels up and get the best gear. Recommended.
What's great about it: Funnest MMO, most popular, runs on most systems
What's not so great: Bad lag in some places, common MMO grind

First of all, I'd like to say that II love this game. I used to play other RPG's that got me addicted and cost me money, such as Maplestory, but World of Warcraft (WoW) is actually worth it. If you're willing to start WoW, I highly suggest you buy Battle Chest, for not only is it worth its price, but you also get a month's FREE subscription of play, as well as two guide books, which may provide you with some tips. I highly reccomend that you start WoW with a friend(s), both of you getting Battle Chest, of course. You ought to do the "suggest a friend" and suggest your other friend(s) before he installs and signs up for the game. This way, not only will get the SPECIAL BONUS of getting 3x Exp, you guys get a cool mount and a teleportation skill that lets you teleport to each other's location s well.
After all, what is a game, without sharing its fun, without your friends? I highly reccomend this game to those looking to have a fun time with their friends online.
What's great about it: Gameplay, Graphics (If you have a good graphics card), Storyline, Thrill
What's not so great: Long Download Time, Monthly Subscriptions

One hell of a game. First time I played it i was hooked. You'll get plenty of adrenaline rushes playing this game. The game can get very intense at times. Also, what makes this game so much fun is its online play. Being able to play with others online adds realism to the world you are playing in.
Dont even worry about buying other games in the future because this is the one you'll devote most of your time with its so much fun.

This game is a very fun game becasue of the quests, bosses, and dungoen runs that are available. I play as a mage and useing those fireballs im pretty much invinsible.
What's great about it: the third person magic and melee mix
What's not so great: wish it came with lich king so i didnt have to pay extra for a death knight

Great game, but be prepared to spend a lot of time!
The description on Bestbuy.com says a couple of places things to the effect that you need online access for updates and a subscription to access online features.
You can't play this game without internet access and a subscription account, beyond the first month of game time that comes with this set.
What's great about it: A wealth of things to do, and plenty of content to keep you busy...
What's not so great: Somewhat addictive, and the description here is misleading.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i love the fact that best buy always have the greatest prices on video games, i enjoyed this game, i bought the first world of warcraft game and i just came from the store by number two the burning crusade.
What's great about it: it is an epic journey of battling evil to a whole other level

The greatest game that allows real world Art of War tactics and strat in an online multiplayer environment. Free battlenet, What! That's totally awesome. Fun for beginners and pros. That's a rarity in this age of cheaters and career gamers. The game has character and adventure. it tests real world theory of dominance and warfare. I love it.

i bought this the moment i saw it.. i was a big fan of warcraft and well the deal was something that caught my attention.. you can play free online as well and it is not a heavy game.. you can run this game on many cpus even without the best of 3D cards.. the guide books are good but they made them a little too story type.. doesnt help understand the game much but you learn quick.. the price is amazing and i would reccomend this game too anyone who loves warcraft

I got this game for Chirstmass and I love it. Im not a like a addict or anything it just the games are fun. The guide dosn't tell you a lot. What I like about the game is just so long. and the grapics are nice too.
What's great about it: You get the 2 first games

I've had it for a couple days and it's the best computer game i've ever played. I started neglecting my computer for my new xbox, Now I cant stop typing. The game is really fun and a low price, so it's more than worth the money. The only downside is the download time which took me 3 hours, but again it was worth the wait. Now i'm going to have to buy the Wrath of the lich king.....
What's great about it: Great price, the game itself, the game expansion
What's not so great: Download time, addictive

This game is great to play with your buddies at school and other people all over the world. Most gamers I played with in WoW are mature, unlike runescape or other MMORPG's. I love the quest that are in it. Dungens are long but rewarding, and in the end, really, really fun. I like raids, PVP, PVE, etc, which are included in the the game. All the classes are fair when lvl 20-80. You'll always find something to do in WoW if you got the $15 per month to play. Trust me, you will enjoy it.
What's great about it: Great ever lasting game, with massive land to explore.
What's not so great: No problems, but a little glitches.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think there are actually support groups forming for this game. When you first play wow you get the feeling that it is a fun game it has a lot of cool elements but you don't really see how it can become a way of life like it has for so many people. Eventually after dabbling a bit with the game you find you have burnt close to 15 hours in one setting playing the game... and you tell yourself there is something wrong with that but you can't quite believe it. Blizzard makes spectacular, well thought out addictive games and this is the current pinnacle of that companies evolution. Someday, I fear they will conquer the world... and I am sure all of the gamers, myself included, will go along willingly.
What's great about it: You can immerse yourself in it totally

This game may be my favorite game i have. I have about 50 games and i play this one about 99% percent of my gaming time. Burning crusade has two extra races to choose from and in my opinion, they are the best races. THIS GAME MAY BE ADDICTING HOWEVER, it is extremely fun and everyone online is super nice, they help you out,its like a little community online! Get some of your friends to play and you guys can quest together, explore dungeons, the list of possibilities is endless. BUY THIS GAME NOW!
What's great about it: Fantastic gameplay, never gets old, and just gets more fun as the game goes on!
What's not so great: takes about 2 hours to get burning crusade and the regular disk downloaded

If you want to get started playing World of Warcraft, this is the thing for you. It comes with World of Warcraft, which is an online roleplaying game that you pay 15$ USD every month for (or buy a 60 day card for every 2 months). And the World of Warcraft burning crusade just makes it so that you can get an extra 2 races and new areas on your world of warcraft account, and adds no extra monthly charge or anything. This package also comes with the strategy guides for both of these games, which helps you complete quests, gather items, and tells you how to get around, and get started.
What's great about it: Get this if you are just starting world of warcraft
What's not so great: only for starters, not worth it if you already have one of the WoW games.
