What's great about it: It works
What's not so great: Feels cheap, water lid doesn't close all the way and the basket dripped when using the pause/serve
I was in a pinch and Best Buy was the closest store at night to go buy a coffee maker. I don't need an $80 coffee maker so I chose this one because it was close in price to my last one and had the 2 functions I wanted. Pause and serve / auto shut off. The basket dripped enough to bother me so I ended up throwing it away and using my old one. I really miss my last Model, but this one will do. I wish it made a stronger cup of coffee without having to use more grounds, but this model doesn't have the strong brew selector. This coffee maker reminds me of what your would find in a time share rental. Cheap, but functional.

What's not so great: Mechanically and ergonomically messed up!
I've had other Mr. Coffees in my lifetime and this one is not a favorite. It is the most mechanically screwy contraption. To brew a pot of coffee the plastic pieces, the water drip arm, the drain spring need near-perfect alignment to work.......and at six in the morning......the drip mechanism in to the carafe doesn't work well on mine and backs up the water and spills the grounds into the carafe if you are brewing more than six cups. @#%$%@#!!
I had one once for 10 solid years, but check your product before buying.

I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE HAPPY BUT I AM NOT. THE COFFEE IS STILL BITTER AND STILL TAKES AWHILE TO BREW!!

What's great about it: Great product for the cheaper price
What's not so great: Wish the coffee pot was insulated and that the lid/coffee pot didn't spill when full (12 cups)
This coffee pot is great for the price. It feels sturdy and well-made.
My only complaints are that the reservoir can spill out of the back holes and onto the counter if you fill it too much (even with just using the coffee pot that comes with the machine, this is possible). You also have to be careful and delicately pour your first cup of coffee if you've made all 12 cups, because it will spill all over your counter if you are too zealous.
Aside from those issues, which we learned during the first use and have since had no problems with, this coffee maker is just as great as the more expensive models.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Hidden cord and coffee ground cup is sturdy
What's not so great: The top where you put water in is flimsy and must be opened softly
This was purchased on-sale to replace an existing coffee maker that was showing its age. It's your typical coffee maker with programmable features. However, I am quite happy with it. You can hide the cord, the cup where you put the ground coffee in sits sturdy and it's programmable. Other than that, for the price, you can't go wrong with this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Good coffee, easy to use, night before set up, timer shut off
What's not so great: Don't over fill or it flows over on to counter.
I love this coffee maker. Set it up the night before and fresh coffee in the morning ready to go. Easy does it. Fits under the counter, I put felt tabs on the bottom, and it slides out easily to fill. Keep it near the sink so I can use the sprayer to fill. Perfect.

I purchased this coffee maker online and when it arrived, none of the buttons worked on the front of the coffee maker. So, i can not set the time or set the timer to make coffee every morning. I have called 4 times and talked with best buy online services and they told me that my local stores carried them in stock. So i called the local stores. None of them carry it in the store, so now i have to call the 888 number to best buy and start all over again. Doesnt best buy know what or where there items are in stock. NO THEY DONT. This a terrible issue. But its christmas time and they are all forgiven. (this time). Sorry everyone, just needed to vent alittle.

What's not so great: ? It doesn't make coffee all by itself? haha
Just got this coffeemaker but so far it has been great. I also noticed that it keeps the coffee HOT unlike some other coffee makers that allow the coffee to get warm/tepid. Also the auto-off feature is great for forgetful people like me! Also the dude in appliances in the Allen Park, MI store was very helpful.

This coffeemaker does not have an illuminated clock face which it appeared to have on the outside of the box photo. I've had coffeemakers that also brewed faster, but overall, for the price it brews a decent tasting cup of coffee.

This takes me back to the old school way of the 90's making coffee and it rocks. My Tassimo I liked but found the older version has a rubber filter in the water which rubs off black stuff eww. So I sent it away. This Mr. Coffee is used everyday and it rocks the controls are awesome, autoshut off after 2 hours and delay programming are awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!
