"If you just want headphones for you're psp, do not buy this product. the headphones are not very good quality and dont matter. Buy this for a HEADSET. You can't use one without the remote, and you can talk to other people on Skype or games like socom. I would only recommend this for people who want to use it with a headset, not just the headphones."

What's great about it: new design, comfortable headphones (if worn correctly) What's not so great: expensive, cord hangs down at remote if not clipped,
"I have used both the psp-1000(phat) and psp-2000(slim) remotes, there really is no difference except that the 2000 series has a slightly smaller new remote design. As for the headphone part, it it exactly the same. The assumption that the remote is not needed is wrong, as the remote is required to use the psp headset, which can be used for socom games or for the new Skype phone in update 3.90. Overall they are nothing special, and may not be worth $30, but if you want to use a headset with your slim psp, you will need this. Note: THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH AN OLDER PSP, ONLY THE NEW SLIM PSP'S."

There is a trick to these!

What's great about it: Very comfortable, the remote is very handy and better designed What's not so great: It is a bit pricey perhaps
"There is a trick to wearing these, which is stated in the directions. You have to set these in your ears and then twist the stems of the ear plugs forward toward your face. This locks them firmly in your ear and you have to tug at them to really dislodge them.
The redesign of the remote is a nice improvement. The controls are much more firm and the remote is smaller. Otherwise not much has changed with this headset."

What's great about it: remote control What's not so great: fit, cost, comfort, sound, does not last...just about everything!!!
"DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR PSP!!! THIS IS NOT NEEDED!!! IF YOU REALLY NEED A PAIR OF HEADPHONES, BUY A DIFFERENT PAIR!!! (they can be really cheap)
The sound quality sucks, these are not comfortable, they fall out of your ears, ad everything else is bad (except for the remote control feature...still don't buy!). My pair broke (stopped working) in about a year.
If you really need headphones/earphones, I suggest a noise-canceling pair."
