What's great about it: Price; ease of use
What's not so great: graphics are alittle grainy
It seems like a basic chess game, but the game histories are great. You can see games from all the masters in a database.
This will help you game by seeing how they play.
If you don't want to start there, begin playing and the computer will set a level for you. The more you play and the better you get, the computer will move your computer opponents up to continue to challenge you.
Definitely worth the money!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: good price and nice timely delivery
Good product, nicely priced and on time delivery. Delivery price was a bit high for the price of the product but overall a good buy.

What's great about it: Tutorial and gameplay
I mainly bought this for my dad. His doctor said for him to combat his dementia he should invest in a video that will help him exercise his brain. Well he likes chess and asked if I can teach him. I thought since he has a pc he can play it on the computer. Well this game has been a gem. Even though it took him a little to set it up (I walked him thru) he is having fun and it is helping him with his memory.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Second in "fun" only to "Battle Chess"
I have beat champions in 4 states.
To teach a beginner, I made "idiot" moves so the computer would 'win' quickly. Which it did; three times.
My student got a big laugh when the game then labeled me as a "Pea Brain!"
I did, too. Love the game.
Recomend it? To check the "yes" box is understatement. DEFINATELY!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: This program is great and offers many options for playing chess against it.
What's not so great: nothing
This chess program offers everything one would need to play a lot of games. I especailly like the way it tracks your success/failure giving you the total outcomes summarized of all the games you have played against it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Good learning tools.
What's not so great: None.
One of the best chess game I have come across! For beginners it has good learning tools. For more advanced players it has a large number of famous games that you can view. The low price makes it an even greater deal! Two thumbs up!
