What's great about it: Versatile.
What's not so great: Signal quality indoors is poor if any at all.
This is probably my favorite portable radio that I've ever owned.
Mine goes straight from my car, to my office, to my house, to the gym, wherever I want to take it. It is quite true that the signal quality indoors is quite poor if you can get it at all. But that is easily resolved simply by recording songs that you are listening to or by uploading songs from your collection. By indoors, I am talking about listening to it as a personal radio while walking through an airport or something.
If you are interested in using it to listen to satellite radio at home, I understand that there is a home kit that solves the signal quality issue. Oh, and you can do what I do which is to connect it to my home WiFi and listen through it. The only downside to that is I can't record any music that way. The WiFi function also works on properly equipped planes. (Actually the satellite function also works on planes, but I learned that satellite radio cannot be utilized on a commercial plane - oops and sorry).
I guess that my only real complaint is that while listening to satellite radio, the battery only lasts about 4 hours. It hasn't run out on me yet using WiFi or listening to recorded music but I understand that the battery life is at least double that using those functions. Oh yeah, some songs don't record. I don't know why but for instance, I cannot record ANY songs from one particular artist.
I gave value for price five stars because I bought mine during a pretty good sale. At full price, I might give it 4 stars instead. Full price is a little high.
The functions are really easy to understand and operate. I can scroll through other channels and see exactly what artist and song are playing on other channels instead of channel surfing. I can record almost all of the newest music.
Anyway, I think it's a great radio.

What's great about it: Satellite Radio on the go and sound quality.
What's not so great: It's not as easy to use as my old S50. I hate the presets!
I do think it is the best portable satellite radio offered by Sirius but not quite as easy to use as my old S50. I don't care for the preset setup, e.g. A, B, & C, versus just turning the knob on the S50. Also the FM Modulator is absolutely the worst I've seen. Also Sirius/XM really need to get their channel line up figured out. I hate the I have some presets that are "Internet Radio" only and cannot listen to those stations on the go. THAT REALLY UPSETS ME!

What's great about it: Very easy to set up, great price.
What's not so great: Does not have fm transmitter built in.
This is a great portable radio. I use it for the gym, walking though the city, driving in my car and home. The only thing I dont like is that you need an fm transmitter to listen to it through the radio. At home I have no problem because I purchased the home kit but at work I had to buy a casstee to play it thorugh our radio. That was the only problem. Iove the radio there is interruption in the signal.

Very happy with the product over all. Sound quality is great. The reception with the antenna on the truck so far has been very good and was easy to install. In the house the anntena needs to sit outside for good reception. For me this is no problem with WiFi in the house I just connect to the internet radio and it works great.

What's great about it: Small and portable
What's not so great: Lousy headset.
Works great, but the headset is cheesy and doesn't fit my head well. Since the headset has the satellite antenna built-in, you really need to use it unless you have the radio sitting in the clear rather than in my shirt pocket where I want it. I'd like a separate antenna I can use with my own headset or earbuds.

What's great about it: Works at home
What's not so great: Can't record over Wi-Fi, doesn't work in the office
Best Buy had the Stiletto 2 for $99 over the Black Friday weekend. It normally sells for $169, so I decided it was time to get one. I've had Sirius Satellite Radio for a few years now, starting with the Sportster Replay, and then getting a factory unit installed in my car. The Sportster never worked at home, unless you moved the antenna outside and pointed it in the right direction. You could use it outside, but only with a huge boombox that was a bit impractical.
The Stiletto 2 works great outdoors with the antenna headset, and indoors with the W-Fi Internet Radio. Surprisingly, the Stiletto can pick up satellite radio inside the house with the home kit. I found out that the old Sportster now also works at home. Sirius apparently activated a new satellite last September that fixed a lot of these reception problems for me.
Unfortunately, the Stiletto 2 still does not work in the office, on the 7th floor of a downtown highrise. However, the record feature makes up for this, as well as the ability to transfer ripped music from the PC down to the Stilletto. I have a number of CD's stored on an 8GB MicroSD card in the Stiletto, saving the internal memory for stuff recorded off of the satellite. Unfortunately, they won't let you record off the Internet Radio.
The Internet Radio works well at home via my 54gb Wi-Fi network, but on the commuter train, there is too much buffering to be usable. I haven't tried it at a Starbucks yet. The satellite reception works fine on city buses, but it is picking up mostly the terrain signal, and not the satellite signal. Farther out in the city, reception drops out.
So finally, we have usable portability for Sirius Satellite Radio at an affordable price. It beats listening to noisy FM or AM radio on the bus, and Wi-Fi makes it usable indoors in more locations. The recording feature lets you record off the satellite to have material to fill in elsewhere.

What's great about it: Works inside with internet, and Great outside in car and out
What's not so great: Some buffering when on internet
This is my first purchased internet radio after literally years of research. I have rented cars weekly for years and always look for an XM/Sirius equiped car and have waivered over getting XM/Sirius. I love the portability and price/value of the Stilletto 2. The record feature is a great bonus. I like it better in satelitte mode better because it will show the artist playing on other channels; internet mode does not do this. I highly recomend this product !

What's not so great: Getting a package from Sirius to listen to.
My God, my wife spent over $220- today to get a package to listen to. Between royalty fees, Surcharge because you have to call them to get it turned on, which you have to on hers and the 1 year radio package. The Sirius people should give you the radio just to get you pay to listen to commercial free radio. UH AH. I thought I wanted one until she told me what she had just put out after I put out over $150 for the radio and a installation kit. Really disappointed in the whole thing.

What's great about it: Small, Portable, User Friendly
What's not so great: Directions a little confusing, may be outdated soon.
I found the stiletto2 online on Black Friday for $99.!!! Finally a price I was comfortable spending to try this thing out. Its smaller than I thought it would be which I like. I have been watching reviews on this thing since it first came out and most are positive.
1st, a disclaimer; I live in a small rural area in central Tx without a lot of trees or building interference and mainly open skies. The internal antenna worked great for me outside. The headphone antenna worked great as well and is much lighter than I thought it might be. Here is what I really liked. In my jeep with the top up, I can hang the headphones on my mirror and wear the earbuds in and get good reception. With the top down it will only work better.
The battery, on satellite, lasted about 5 hours. With my downloads, it lasted much longer. I haven't had a chance to use wifi or internet yet. But I understand battery life is longer on that than satellite.
The instructions were a little hard to understand on the 'Love" recording function. If you change to a station and immediatly press "love", you won't get the whole song. The unit starts recording as soon you change to it so at any point from the next song on, you can press "love" during any point in a song and get the whole thing.
All in all, this is all I hoped it would be and more.

What's great about it: RECORDING, WI-FI, PORTABILITY, SD-CARD, SLEEK LOOK
What's not so great: DOES NOT WORK WELL OR AT ALL IN BUILDINGS
This is basically a portable Sirius recorder most of the time but it will work great outside if you are using the antenna headphones on a clear day with no obstructions at all. I bought this for that reason. I need to be able to record and I need portability. I love to be able to record my favorite comedians and replay what they say to my friends and family. I also like to record tracks that I like so I can purchase the music later because I sure am not going to remember the name of the artist and the song. If you are expecting to be able to use this everywhere then you will be very disappointed. Do not expect to strap this on and wear it in the gym or at work or even in your car because chances are it will not or if it does it will not work well or consistently. If you want to listen to it in your car then you will absolutely need the car kit or you will end up throwing it out the window. The battery doesn’t last for nothing especially since it is always working to maintain one or maybe two bars at best. But if you have the car or home kit then that doesn’t matter. I very rarely ever get three bars. But if you do get three bars then the battery lasts a long time like a cell phone. However it does have some good features to it that doesn’t make it totally worthless. The Wi-Fi feature is great and works perfect with relatively easy set-up. I mean c’mon people, why are you going to think that this tiny device is going to work like a charm 100% of the time anyplace anywhere. The Sirius infrastructure is not like the cell phone infrastructure where you have land-based towers repeating signals all over god’s green earth. This is a little device that draws its signal from terrestrial satellite orbiting the earth. I think it works well but I expect it to get better and it will. Overall I like it because I knew what to expect going into it.

What's great about it: Portability, easy to use, great variety of music channels
What's not so great: Short battery life, requires a serious financial commitment
I have been a long time Sirius user.I got the S2 to use on my motorcycle.Turned out it was a good choice over my old unit.To get my old Sportster on my bike was going to be challenging, cumbersome and expensive. This was a lower cost solution for me.In and around town here in Dallas there are enough terestrial repeaters that I just drop in my pocket or in my tank bag, plug in the Bose ear plugs and ride on without the headset.Rarely drop a signal in town.Great wifi feature with a lot of ability to pick up just about any wireless network .Just find an open wifi and listen away.If your vehicle has an mp3 jack then just get a cable and plug it in.I have a pad on my dash and lay it up there.Works great! The ability to switch memory cards is really great.I have two 16 gig cards and that will yield more music that I can listen to in a cross country ride..I did end up getting the car kit out of necessity. The battery life is really not long enough.Three hours max and it is dead.Even less if you don't adjust the screen. One great feature is being able to move it from home to bike to boat to car to truck to camp site easily.
If this is what you are looking for then get ready to burn a hole in your wallet. The financial commitement is serious to use Sirius. The car and home kits are $50+ each. The subscription fees will eat you alive.I have the lifetime membership on my old Sportster($400 and still available and yes there is a gotcha with that plan) and one year on the S2($190) with wifi being $3 per month for my pc and S2 since I am an exisiting customer.I know you can add Sirius to your Sprint smart phones or Apple devices as long as you pay the monthly internet fees Sirius requires. If you want a spare battery then shell out another $40.It is easy to burn over 1k to be fully accessorized in equipment for every vehicle and your home. However if you really love music and compare the cost of usage to a fully loaded smart phone or the monthly fees needed for internet or digital tv services then this is really a bargain.

What's great about it: Best reception for car and home
What's not so great: Portable is not Portable enough, hard to get signal!Wifi not automatic!
What I would say is its a better sirius radio than any other one out there.
This one lacks UP and DOWN arrows for channels, kids.THIS IS BAD.
The reception is GREAT in the car and home.Flawless-
The reception without a home or car kit is poor.(thanks to not strong enough terrestrial repeaters)
Mp3 should have been drag and drop instead its easier to pull the MicroSD card out and put the mp3s directly on the card.
WE WANT DRAG AND DROP ,sirius!
Recording feature is great, although others tell me their recordings disappear,I did NOT experience this)
Wifi is great but not free.IT SHOULD BE THE RADIO IS 400 BUX!
Why doesnt the wifi switch on automatically if i loose the sats???(lacks this feature)
Channel zero is the ESN number ,this is a P.I.T.A ,since when it likes to the radio defaults to this channel after a power down, then you are like why isnt this working....Sometimes have to reset it.
Overall its pretty neat! The FM transmitter REQUIRES a FM relay ,so GET IT!if you are using the Stiletto with its transmitter....

What's great about it: Reception / User Friendly / Quality
What's not so great: N / A
I walk for exercise and I got tired of listening to the same old music on the ipod/mp3. I very much like the variety of programming available on Sirius and I looked into the Stiletto 2 thinking this would be a great workout tool.
I had read some reviews that made it sound like the reception that the Stiletto received didn't work very well. However, after debating what to do, I took the chance and purchased a Stiletto 2. Wow, am I glad that took the leap!
Maybe it's because of the wide open spaces of Wyoming, but the reception is fantastic. I just tune in the station I want and go to walking. It works every time very well and it even works well when I pull a hood or stocking cap over the headphones. The only time it fades out is when I walk under a bridge and then it's only for a couple of seconds. It even works indoors as there are many spots in my house where I can get reception.
I don't use the recording or Wi-Fi aspect of it as that's not why I bought it. I don't have the house or car kit that goes with it either. I have heard all of these things work good, but I can't speak on that because again, that's not why I bought it.
If someone is interested in walking with a live Sirius feed, this thing is for you. If you love the outdoors and still want to listen to sports, music, etc. while you are on the go hiking, walking and camping.....the Stiletto might just be for you.
It is really a great tool for me. Maybe it is something that might work for you.
