"This was the second game I bought for my 60 gig PS3. I was blown away with the way the game played, graphics, sound, etc. I beat the game before Sony decided to add trophies. Naturally, I popped it back in and decided to unlock them. Long story short, I have not been been able to put this game down - even after getting the coveted Platinum trophy. Get this game!"

What's great about it: Terrific story, amazing graphics, unique characters, trophy compatible and most everything else. What's not so great: I have to wait until December for the sequel.
"This is the first game I played on the PS3 I got for Christmas, and I couldn't have picked a better game to test out the PS3's capabilities. I was blown away by the amazing graphics and the most life-like scenery I've ever seen in a video game. The controls are easy to get used to, and Uncharted takes advantage of the Six Axis controller in several situations. The only thing I wish it featured was a multiplayer mode or online mode, but all of the pros make up for this con. The bottom line is, if you have a PS3 and you don't have this game, get it!"

"Man I was looking forward to playing this game after downloadihng the demo. I was first pulled in by the graphics, then the game play and the storyline you can follow with really well. Normally I dub past the storyline, but this game leaves me interested. Also graphics are very stunning. It seemed this game was well ahead of its time. Naughty Dog def pushed the PS3 to the max. I just love this game. Liike the last reviewer you are bound to lose sleep over this game. You're drawn in to see what happens next. Each aspect of this game is awesome. SO GO GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This game is as addictive as crack and allows a similar amount of sleep. The game play holds you in the game even after the story has ended. I've played through this game on every difficulty up to crushing which I'm working on now. I can't get enough of this game whether it's just finishing the game or trying to unlock all the trophies the scenes meld together so seamlessly that it just makes you want to keep going. Some of the trophies are very difficult to achieve like fist of steel expert palyed through the five times now without getting that one. I know that this game is actually pretty long for a next gen game with this quality of graphics but it still seems to end too soon for such a great game, but any game this engrossing will probably do this. The game does an excellent job evolving enemies at the right time in the game to gradually increase the difficulty without completely overwhelming the player. The characters are very well done with strong development and individualism from the main characters to the hordes of lesser enemies. Drake may be the most entertaining main character alone in any game, but when you add the supporting cast; Elania the surprisingly helpful female lead/love intrest and the Bruce Campbell like side kick, then the lead enemies are very easily disliked and round the game out very well. This is by far the best, most well rounded, game I've played and would recommended it to anyone not offended by some mild language and soft gore violence. Fantastic game!!!"

"Drakes fortune is the greatest game i have ever played. THe dialgue is awsome, the controls are very easy to pick up and easy to use while in combat. The graphics are unbelievable. You can skip through the cut scenes ( why you would i have no idea.) the Story is cery creative in how things tie together. 7 stars out of 5, if you are thinking about buying a ps3, this game is the only reason you would need one."

What's great about it: amazing storyline, like National Treasure if it was a game, AMAZING Graphics What's not so great: enemies got overwelming at points
"I got the demo before buying this game (which I recomend to do with every game) and I was hooked from right then. The game could have been horrible and I still would have bought it. The jungle looks amazing and the way the character grabs on the ridge is really cool. Over all this is a great game, even though the zombies at the end can scare the cr*p outta ya when you turn the corner."

What's great about it: Ease of control, great graphics, and really good story line. Good action mixed with puzzles. What's not so great: Warning:Spoiler......Lost realism when zombies appeared.
"I played the game in normal mode.
This is probably one of the top five best games made for PS3. Great graphics and controls. Some of the more recent games are cumbersome to move the characters around, but Uncharted feels natural. Some difficulty when you are attacked close by the zombies. The story was great and characters interacted like a movie would. I liked the balance of puzzles, treasure hunting, and fighting/action. The platforming aspect was better than any game I've played (far exceeds Prince of Persia, which is too cumbersome and restrictive).
The zombies took away from the realism that the game had built up during game play. If that had been excluded, the game would have been perfect. Trying to get past the zombies was harder than fighting the final battle on the ship. Even with zombies, this game was awesome, though."

"I did this game on easy and it was a blast!! Would play it again to find all the hidden treasures. Great graphics and easy to learn controls. I enjoy the fact that you don't have to go and find health if you are wounded. The story and characters are great, all except near the end with the "monsters". I didn't really like that level at all. All in all a great game and I am excited for Uncharted 2."

"This game is absolutely a must have. The storyline is the best I've ever seen in a game. In fact, I'm surprised there hasn't been a movie of it. The twist is a surprising change in the game but it plays an important part in the plot. There aren't ALIENS as stated in a previous review, so don't let that discourage you... All I'll say is that there is a curse.... but there always is when treasure hunting isn't there? The camera angles are great and the dialogue is too. Everything about this game is just awesome. I can see why the price hasn't dropped at all....It is worth every penny. I completed the game and the next day started it again, it was just too good, and with the hidden treasures and awards you can gain it makes you change your strategy a little when you do play it again. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes adventures!"

"This is by far the best game i have played EVER. I specifically bought the PS3 for this game, and i wasnt disapointed. I am shocked this game didnt get more notice.
It is like indiana jones meets han solo. The voice over is good. they gave great detail to the scenery and the characters. The water display is great.
I wont give up any details on the story, but there are twists in the game that shocked me. I can't wait for the sequel"

"This is a GREAT game. It is just like Tomb raider but more fun. Plot is amazing looking for lost gold from the Spanish Armada. However, it gets weird when aliens are introduced into it. All in all, it is a great game and I loved playing it. When you die you go back a long way, and some scenes take you a while. It is difficult, but a lot of fun and will get you hooked."

"This is one of the best PS3 games of all time. The graphics are incredibly detailed, the storyline is pretty nice, and the gameplay is just plain fun. It looks and feels like an action movie. In fact, I hear that they are making it into a movie. The gameplay has the tomb raiding aspect of the tomb raider games, the cover system from gears of war, and has a little indiana jones feel into it. The game doesn't feel like it copies any of these games, the way it blends these 3 gameplay aspects is beautiful. Unlike in tomb raider where you have to be precise to make a jump, this game makes it quite easily, as long as you're not way off. I'm not familiar with how exactly the cover system in gears of war is, so I can't talk about that, other than it works well in Uncharted. And the indiana jones feel is because of how the traps you may encounter in the game are, very intense and fun to watch.
This game should be a greatest hit, I don't know why it isn't. Yes the game is short as I said before, but the game features trophy support and unlockables to modify gameplay, like have you automatically start with certain weapons, or to change the way your guy looks. And Nathan Drake (the guy you play in the game) is such a loveable character. If you still have doubts, you can rent the game, or download the demo from the playstation store. The demo has you play in one of the levels in the game. It's not the best level, but it has one of my favorite cutscenes, which made me love Nate so much."

"The amazing graphics, smooth animation, story-line, and overall great game-play makes for an impressive, well-rounded game. I purchased this game two days ago and have only played for about 45 min., but it has been long enough for me to be very impressed.
