What's great about it: Ease of setup, ease of use
What's not so great: Only comes w/ USB charger
"I gave this MP3 player to my husband about 15 minutes ago, and he already set it up, played me a song to hear sound quality, and happily strolled out the door for work. This was SO easy to setup and it sounded great! I love the big color screen and how it shows all the song information plus album cover. It uses Windows Media Center to sync, so we already had all our songs and playlists ready to go. It plugged into our Windows Vista PC right out of the box and the Autoplay was ready to sync it up in less than a minute. I am SO happy with this purchase and my husband is thrilled. We wouldn't even consider buying an iPod w/ all its proprietary stuff (or any other MP3 with separate software)."

What's great about it: everything,the sound, the video. its one of my best purchases from Bestbuy
What's not so great: the earphones that comes with it. They are wierd. like one side is really longer then the other side. not normal.
"Great features, wonderful sound. But, i had a little trouble with adding music. i put all of my cd on my computer expect for one. then from there i put them on my mp3 player. Well, when i went to put the other cd on there, it erased all my other cd's that i put on there. So, i had to go back and redo them all. Which doesn't take long at all."

"I have never owned an iPod or MP3 player, and really had no idea where to start looking. I didn't want to pay a fortune, either. This little MP3 player is perfect! I can store photos, music and videos on here. There is plenty of room for all my music. The headphones that came with it are SUPER comfortable! The battery recharges quickly, and lasts pretty much the 33 hrs it says it will. I have not been without it since I purchased it. My husband saw it and now he wants one, too. It is very easy to add media to this, also. I think everyone will be happy with this purchase."

"This is the first MP3 player I've ever bought and it's just what I was looking for, with lots of space for songs, pictures, and even videos. I've downloaded at least 22 CDs, plus many photos, and I still have space left on it. I also like the fact that it's not too small; the smaller sized players would get lost too easily. The only drawback was finding accessories, but with a little perseverance, you can find them. I love this product and am very happy with it."

"I was going to buy an iPod nano then I saw this player by Sony. It was cheaper and plays videos as well. No software to install. Just plug it into your PC, either XP or Vista and WMP does the rest. Displays album art as well. Great player for the money. You can't go wrong with Sony."

What's not so great: Headphone cord is short unless you use included extension.
"In the past, people avoided Sony because they used special software that everyone hated. Well, times have changed and Sony has decided to get rid of the software and instead goto the drag & drop/Windows Media Player method that is widely accepted. This player is very user friendly with a beautiful menu system and only a few buttons that even your granny could use without instruction. Sound quality on this player is the best I've ever heard. I have tried Sandisk, Zune, Creative, and nothing beats it. The headphones that come with it are better than the Sony's I already had which I thought were the best. Pick this up today, you'll be happy you did. You'll be listening to all your old songs again just to hear the difference!"

"My top priority for purchasing a mp3 player was the audio quality. I researched quite a bit online and in stores before settling with this product, and I'm glad I did.
As compared to other mp3 players I've experienced in the past, the included ear buds with this player is most definitely above average, with amazing clarity and surprisingly deep/punchy bass. Another plus about these headphones is their light weight and comfort...you'll forget you have them on and simply be lost in the incredible soundscape.
Focusing more on the player...I appreciate the wide array of sound enchantments and customization offered with this player. I especially like the "Clear Bass" actually living up to its name; it noticeably improves the bass while retaining the detail of the overall sound. The interface itself is very simple and easy to use, whether it's navigating songs or customizing the sound. The 2.0" screen with 320x240 resolution comes off vibrant and clear, so the pictures and videos look great; I find myself using it more often than I thought I would.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with this player. Despite my initial doubts about having only 4GB of space, the ease of transfer from the computer and the phenomenal sound quality has won me over."

"This was my first MP3 player and I did alot of research, It is easy to use and I dont have alot electronic smarts. I love it, I have already downloaded 55 songs and all of my photos, working on downloading a movie just to see how it works, I would recommend this to everyone, the earbuds are great and dont plan on replacing them since they sound so good. Great purchase since I got this idea for 20 dollars off on sale. Go for it you wont be disappointed."

"I have this MP-3 by Sony and the instrucions said Windows XP would not work on down loading. Lot they know, my windows music player with the (SINQ) button
I loaded 688 songs in about 1 1/2 hours. (with out their up-load cd ) installed.The music sounds great with the equalizer custom adjustable the bass and treble up. the nice ear buds sound great, BUT why make the left side cord shorter,than the right, , the results, the left pops out evey time.I would advise anyone if they want a great sounding MP-3 with ease of down-load with wonderfull ear-buds priced below,$130. WITH 4GB, PLUS, THE SCREEN IS VIVED AND CLEAR. aND THE ONLY extra idem. I WOULD RECOMEND, A 6 FOOT LONGER cord, Because the left ear bud pops out if it is your pocket."

"I investigated many MP3's to replace my Apple 512 shuffle.
Read reviews about this and other Sony Walkmans and was really impressed by all of the positive reviews. This player went on sale for $99 dollars and I immediately purchased it on line and selected store pickup.
The instructions are useless but even I figured out really quickly how to load and "sync"music. It is an awesome player that comes with fantastic ear buds that require NO UPGRADING and at 51 years of age and hard of hearing ease of download and good sound means a lot!
This beats all Ipods and their exclusive and difficult itune programs."
