What's great about it: it was awsome untill it stopped working
What's not so great: at one point your PS stops recognizing the player

"the price was great i even gave my old GPX MP3 away which i've had with out incident for over a year then after a month my PC stopped recognizing the sansa and so did 4 other PC's i tried it , i contacted sansa they didn't help the site offered download recommendatons i did all of them now my sansa is a nice paper weight actualy both my sansa clips are since i bought one for my wife now im back on the market for a new MP3 player, i can however say it was the best player i've had up until it i couldn't add any more music to it, and i actualy searched for a fix on line and found a forum that every single person on it has had the exact same thing happen and no fix"

What's great about it: Easy to use, Holds tons of music, Has an FM radio and voice recorder
What's not so great: It seems to take FOREVER to transfer music on it

"I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and it was a big hit. He wanted a IPod but there was NO way I was spending that kind of money on one for my 7 year old. He LOVES this one just as well. I even seem to like it better than any of the IPods I have owned the only downfall is you can't see pictures or video's. It's very easy to work. The only thing is it seems to take FOREVER to transfer my music. Maybe it's something I'm doing but it took hours to transfer like 100 songs. Other than that this thing is GREAT!"

"i got this on black friday in 2007 a year later i still use it on a Daily bases. its says it holds 500 songs but i will fit 923 wme files. this mp3 player is built to last."

What's great about it: I have an Ipod shuffle that was $50. This was $40,and it has a radio, voice recording, and you can see the screen!!!
What's not so great: There's really not a good set up manual, but it's pretty easy to figure out!

"I bought this for my boyfriend. I have an ipod shuffle, and it was more expensive and doesn't even compare to the Sansa! I actually asked for a Best Buy gift card for Christmas so I could get the 4gb one to listen to books.
This is a VERY good value for the money!!!!"

"this is a great mp3 player. it is small enough that you can hide it and no one would know where it is. this mp3 player holds tons of songs. I have downloaded around 100 songs and still have alot of room to download more. also, what I like about this mp3 is that it has an fm tuner. so now you can listen to fm radio stations. and the mp3 player comes with a usb cable to hookup to your pc, or anything that has a 2.0usb port for easy download. it also comes with the software needed to put in your pc so you can download real easy. and lets not forget that it has a clip on the back so you can clip it to your shirt or pants without the fear of losing it somewhere.
the bad part is that you can not download pictures to it like on other high end mp3's. but still worth pickup if you just want something to listen to music on. and because it is just a pretty basic mp3, that other than using it to listen to music is still great. I recommend this item to those who just want something to listen to their songs on, or maybe even the fm radio. but if you are looking to download pictures or movies, or whatever else you can download on a higher end mp3, then look elsewhere."

What's great about it: Small, has a clip at the back of it
What's not so great: No album art, pictures, o rvideos

"Over all this mp3 is great for its price. It is very small and can easily fit in the palm of your hand. I would reccomend this mp3 to beginners because it doesnt have a lot of features except the sound, brightness of the screen and music selection. I would not reccomend this mp3 to someone who wants something more advanced. Overall this mp3 is worth the money you paid for it and is perferct for beginners."

mp3 recognize by computer

What's great about it: Portable, Easy to use, Bright LCD, Voice Recorder, Equalizer Settings, 2GB, FM Radio, and charges by USB connection!
What's not so great: Some complain about transfer cable being too small, but I think it's better than nothing.

"Best purchase I have made this enitre month seriously. This thing has got everything I could ever want. Voice recorder, record your messages and play them or store them in your computer. Even has the fm radio, which is very clear in my area. Also has sound equalizer to change the way the settings of the sound. It also has powerful volume pretty loud for me. It charges by the usb connection of the computer too. The usb cable is about 6 inches, sort of short but better than nothing. Has a cool blue graphic interface and it is very bright. You can store words documents by copy and pasting into the internal memory but the files become read only so you have change it by copy and pasting it to the computer. The graphics on this little thing are cool. Also has a battery level indicator. The side button allows you to lock the buttons so they don't get easily pressed. The best!"

What's not so great: Start up is frustrating to load Songs!

"First I have to say I finally opened up this from buying last year at the blackfriday sale. what you get is a nice looking mp3 player for the money, the display is nice ice blue can easily read, the buttons are handy and functional, its got a clip so you can attach to whatever! volume button is handy, its got a hold button that is user friendly, Now I have to warn all users who purchase this device. Start up can be very frustrating, its required me to update my computer system, check drivers on my pc, call Sandisk company and troubleshoot and countless hours till the early mornings trying to figure this unit out! Buyers just beware of this, you must have the necessary requirements for example , XP windows, wmp 11, you have to add the hardware device to your computer if your computer does not recognize. this is not just a drag and drop MP3 player out of the box like you might think. But once up and running WOW very handy!!!!!!!! would buy more of these!!!!! Bye Ipod"
