Sansa Clip , Great price ,great performance

What's great about it: Sturdy very small design,very multifunctional, Extreme Quality for the price.
What's not so great: Other people who do not have one , seem to have a dessire to own your's, without asking for.
"I enjoyed learning how to use all of the many different features. I enjoyed the compactness of it. A very sensative microphone for the size. Easy to read and use digital screen and very simple and functional control's. My only regret is that I was foolish to leave it in a place as to where it could of been stolen from me. But I would recomend it to anyone to purchase this product over any other of same type on the market. As I am going to purchase another one, but be more carefull as to where I put it, as I sleep at night in a open bay area amongst many poor homeless men."

What's great about it: Good price, tough little machine, easy to use
"This little mp3 player is amazing. I got it to listen to books in my car and when I'm doing mindless stuff around the house or at work. I've had it for over a year and the battery life has not diminished at all. BUT this is what really amazed me- when my husband and I were getting in the car to go home for Christmas I dropped my sansa outside the car and didn't realize it. It was outside in the Syracuse winter cold and rain for five days before we came home and I found it completely soaked. STILL WORKS PERFECTLY! I am still shocked. What a great product."

What's great about it: good price, durable, big battery, small size.
What's not so great: really small size
"I got this for christmas one year, and it has been ever faithful since. I have dropped it numerous times, and it held up. I sometimes leave it on and it doesnt die. I really like the big battery and how small it is. Some good features are the wide range of radio capability. Also the EQ is great and the recorder records perfectly. But a bad part is that i lose it alot and cant find it. Small size can be great, but it can get annoying. Overall, i would say for you to buy this product"

What's great about it: Easy to use, durable, long-lasting battery
What's not so great: No clock.
"Before buying this product, I had been very unsatisfied with mp3 players. I decided to give them one last try before going back to my cd player, because of the price, I bought this brand. I bought this mp3 player my Junior year of high-school, I am now a Freshman in college and it doesn't seem to be slowing down or stopping. The battery on mine seems to charge very well and lasts about eight hours, and that is very good for me because I love listening to music all day. I have also dropped it numerous times and nothing has broken."

"I might be considered to be Technology Challenged.. but this MP3 player is amazingly User Friendly!
I wanted something that would be small, easy to use, have good sound, could play either recorded music or radio when I am working out and this tiny wonder does it all.. and at a FRACTION of the cost of other MP3 players. Tiny, light-weight, easy to use!"

What's great about it: The price. The sound quality. The size. Durability
What's not so great: The small display. The so-so earbuds. The tiny 1gig memory.
"I purchased mine in July 2008. And it has been getting heavy use ever since. The sound quality of the SanDisk itself was surprisingly good. However the headphones that come with it were only so-so. I upgraded to a better pair of earbuds (just $20) and it really let the music shine. The custom EQ feature is also nice for making things sound just the way you like. The display is pretty small but it gets the job done. The interface was intuitive and easy to use (the small display notwithstanding). I also greatly appreciate how durable this little unit is. Mine went through the laundry twice before finally giving up the ghost. I've been so plaeased with it up to this point I'll likely pick up another Sansa mp3 player, albiet one with a bit more memory."

What's not so great: I had this for about a year and it died.
"I loved this mp3 player. I had it for about a year,and listen to it everyday but I guess you can only charge it so many times before it dies.I thought it would last more then a year but it didn't. I need to buy another one now and not to sure if I should buy this one again.It's a good product it should just last longer....I love the size and the price was good."

"I purchased this to listen to music while I work out. I have had it just over a year now and all of a sudden the radio does not work anymore. The music I put on it still works perfectly, but sometimes I like to listen to the radio. "I purchased a 2G Sansa Clip at Best Buy for my son's 8th birthday. He has put a great deal of "mileage" on it in the last 6 months, but the reason I am writing this review is that it has performed above and beyond expectations.
Last week while doing laundry, I heard the dreaded "clank, clank" of something being bounced around in the dryer. It was my son's Sansa Clip. The dryer had been running for nearly half an hour, not to mention the trip through the washing machine! I fussed at my son for being careless and placed the Sansa on the desk beside the washer. I assumed it was, well, dead because it wouldn't turn on.
About a week later, my husband plugged it in to charge, just to see what would happen. It charged and miraculously, still works perfectly! All of the previously loaded music and everything!
A reasonably priced, high quality product."

What's not so great: Full Battery charge last only 1.5 hours - some songs ending cut off
"Don't buy a Sandisk Sansa media player- not a very good product. Charged battery last only 1.5 hours when advertised to last up to 15 hours - used only to play music. The last thirty secounds or minute of some songs chopped off - just goes to the next song. Instructions are not thorough especially for the firmware download and update."

"I bought this for my husband for Christmas 2008, and he loved it- while it worked. By February it wasn't playing the songs he selected but starting wherever it wanted to in the playlists, and it wasn't charging, even though the battery meter said it was full. Finally, in April, it died altogether. It won't do anything except turn on. We have tried every driver download and troubleshooting tip Sansa has, and even bought the wall charger in case our computer was the issue. It's just plain dead. It's never been dropped or damaged, and in my opinion it should have lasted a heck of a lot longer than 4 months."

"I like the small size, very easy to take around. The headphones are alright.
The battery life is short.
I really like the recording features it has. You can record songs from the radio. FM radio feature is a plus. There are many folders to categorize the songs. You can rate each song and put that in a different playlist.
It's easy to put songs in and I like how you can charge it with any adaptor that can fit in the USB port (ie blackberry charger).
As for price, I got mine cheaper since it was on sale, so..."

"I upgraded from the Sansa Express 1GB player for this model, and I am enjoying it so far. The extra buttons make navigating through the menus easier, and the additional storage capacity will come in handy once I expand my music collection. The only problem so far is the need to carry the USB adapter with me if I need to charge the player while away from home. Otherwise, this is a great buy!"

What's great about it: the price, it's small you can put it anywhere purse, pocked etc..
What's not so great: usb cable is short and trying to find a a.c adapter for it to charge if i dont bring my computer wiht me when I travle
"This little thing is soooooooooooo powerful Im amazed. it was easy to download the music from my computer to the folder of the sandisk copied all music within seconds. I was like wow, better than my cousins ipod. Im glad I got this for myself, I like it alot. I just dont like the usb cable being short, at lleast i have a laptop so ti's not a problem wish it was longer. I will see to get a longer one. Other than that it plays the music well on this little powerful thing it's so cute."

"I needed a small mp3 player with FM, picked this one up and it works great. Battery life more that enough to get through the day. If you buy the Package one with the "ear candy" headphones they crank. I bought a set of clip over the ear sony's for $40 bucks and they suck, very tinny sound, no base at all. The "eye candy" ones that come wiith are just the in ear ones that could fall out when moving around but they are so loud and have great range of highs and lows."

"This is my second SanDisk player. I bought one of the first generation SanDisk players because it was much less expensive than an IPOD, and because it had the radio. That was about three years ago and it still works great, but I wanted to get more storage for my music, so I bought the Clip. Again, great quality for the price and even easier to use than the old one. I know a few people have had issues, but that's true for any product...always a few dudes make it through, even with the much lauded IPOD. But those are obviously the exception. Get it - you'll love it."
